Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Pendleton County

Johnny’s place was simply amazing. Quiet and friendly town. The house is well stocked and extremely clean. We felt safe all the time. It’s the perfect get away if you want to spend some family time. Johnny is a great host, always willing to help and to assist us with questions and good recommendations. We would like to return again.

This was a nice place to stay, it has a very nice view and easy access to the main road. It also had good size parking for all vehicles which we usually struggle with. We also got a quick response to a concern we had. And Even tho our trip was cut short we enjoyed our stay, we would definitely recommend staying here.

My group and I had a great stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. Host was awesome, very responsive and helpful.

We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere at the cabin. It was close to the places we wanted to hike and it provided a cozy and comfortable rest between hikes.

5 stars for a truly magical trip to the mountains! Zoe's retreat is amazing and exactly as described, plus she is a very helpful and responsive host. I cannot recommend this Airbnb more highly, though I would caution travelers to use a four-wheel-drive vehicle to get there. Most importantly: don't forget to stargaze! We saw so many shooting stars that we lost count. Spruce Knob is one of those places that reminds you to delight in the universe, to take a breath, to enjoy life's simplest pleasures.

This place is awesome for rest and relaxation. So big and so many rooms, all family members can enjoy themselves. Kitchen well stocked, room for kids to play outside. Just a lovely home. You must go to town and interact with the people of Franklin, WV, 12 miles down the road. The friendliest people in America.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Coop! The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable, kitchen fully stocked with all the necessities and more. We were able to cook a full Easter dinner, and enjoy a variety of delicious coffee options in the morning, enjoying a cup on the front porch with a nice and peaceful view with the sounds of the stream nearby. Nice peaceful vibe. The fire-pit at night watching the stars, peaceful walks around the private neighborhood down to the stream, running into a swarm of butterflies was magical. We were able to bring our dog Rocky too, who made friends with the friendly neighbors, and even enjoyed his pup cupcake that was left as a welcome gift. We enjoyed our welcome cupcakes too, they were delicious! We would definitely visit again :)

The Airbnb was pristine! Clean, updated, & scenic views. All the modern amenities with a rustic cabin vibe. The outside patio with the fire pit & hot tub is a perfect spot to wind down and relax after a long day taking in the beautiful WV hikes. Great location to many nature sites. Visited Via Ferrata (30 min drive) & Seneca Rocks (40 min). The hosts have great communication. Very informative & responsive to any questions. 12/10 recommend!!!

This was the perfect weekend getaway. The place is perfect and super homey, it has everything needed to cook as well as a great hot tub with a spacious deck to hang out at. It snowed while we were there and the hosts made sure the driveway was plowed as well as the front porch and back deck. I will most definitely stay there next time!

What an amazing stay we had at Deb and Matt's cabin! This rustic home has all the modern conveniences without losing its charm. We enjoyed family time by the fire inside and at the fire pit outside while the kids played in the surrounding woods (still visible from the hammock). My chef husband loved the well-appointed kitchen and there was plenty of room for us to help out. Everyone enjoyed privacy in their own room and bathroom. There's even an additional living room so when others were watching a movie downstairs, I enjoyed reading while the rain fell on the metal roof upstairs. There is no internet service on the way up but the wifi in the house is abundant, making it easy to check out while hiking or visiting sugar camps (we were there for Maple Fest), and check back in once at the cabin. Deb and Matt were the best hosts, hands down. They made sure we had everything we needed and more, taking us zip lining, giving rides on the ATV, & introducing us to their menagerie. Thank you!

We loved our time at Merry Jo and Aaron’s cabin! The location was peaceful and secluded with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and charming attention to detail inside. All of the amenities and pristine cleanliness had us feeling at home right away. Merry Jo proactively reached out to ensure we had clear directions to the location, easy access to the property, and that we had everything we needed once there. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to relax with friends and/or family - hot tub was a hit, but they also had a lovely fire pit and cornhole that we would have used had the weather been a bit more cooperative. We hope to go back - an easy 5 stars!

Tashina's place was fantastic! We booked extremely last minute and she had no problem getting the place set up for us. It was in a beautiful location with great amenities - hot tub, fire pit, TV, and a river to fish in. There were only two downsides - one was the Internet actually worked better outside than it did inside (but we expected that with the remoteness of the place) and the beds could've been more comfortable. All in all, I'd stay again!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. Everything was pristine, the hot water was great, the stove was easy to turn on, the views are AMAZING, and we felt right at home. Cell signal booster helped us look for directions to the interesting places nearby. We drove through Canaan Valley, went to Blackwater Falls, hiked Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob. Definitely stop at a grocery store before you go to the cabin. Great coffee places and groceries in Elkins. I recommend bringing one of the easy light firelogs fron the grocery store as well, as it's much easier to light one up in the middle of the night.

I loved my time here! It was very nostalgic for me having grown up in the mountains of rural parts of Northern California. The sound of the flowing water behind the cabin, the walking bridge, fresh air and being tucked under all those trees and greenery really made me feel like I was back home. This was a 2-day solo trip for me to wind down, enjoy my solitude and take a break from my very stressful government job. Suzanne was an amazing host, provided info for local restaurants and grocery stores before I even arrived. The cabin is so cute and was immaculate throughout. Definitely staying here again!
