Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Pendleton County

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house was very clean and lots of things in the kitchen, lots of towels and dishes and the basics like dish liquid and hand soaps. My favorite part was the Amish rocking chairs on the porch, perfect for relaxing morning coffee and chilling in the evening. The fire pit area was great with plenty of seating. we did not realize the rental was so close to 220 but we honestly didn't mind because it was so quiet and peaceful. Can't wait to stay again. Thank you!!!

The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

I loved my time here! It was very nostalgic for me having grown up in the mountains of rural parts of Northern California. The sound of the flowing water behind the cabin, the walking bridge, fresh air and being tucked under all those trees and greenery really made me feel like I was back home. This was a 2-day solo trip for me to wind down, enjoy my solitude and take a break from my very stressful government job. Suzanne was an amazing host, provided info for local restaurants and grocery stores before I even arrived. The cabin is so cute and was immaculate throughout. Definitely staying here again!

You need to understand that you are off the beaten path. If it is so beautiful and peaceful. The cabin was perfect. The kids enjoyed the pool table, ping pong, etc. the cabin had everything we needed. Kristen respond to all questions quickly.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Coop! The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable, kitchen fully stocked with all the necessities and more. We were able to cook a full Easter dinner, and enjoy a variety of delicious coffee options in the morning, enjoying a cup on the front porch with a nice and peaceful view with the sounds of the stream nearby. Nice peaceful vibe. The fire-pit at night watching the stars, peaceful walks around the private neighborhood down to the stream, running into a swarm of butterflies was magical. We were able to bring our dog Rocky too, who made friends with the friendly neighbors, and even enjoyed his pup cupcake that was left as a welcome gift. We enjoyed our welcome cupcakes too, they were delicious! We would definitely visit again :)

Excellent stay at Jennifers place. Top notch all around. Spotless clean, fresh eggs, and a wonderful location. 10/10

When a backpacking trip went wrong (thunderstorms) this host was super quick to respond and got us booked right away for this great little cabin. The interior is artfully designed and comfortably appointed, with everything well marked and nothing left for want. (Even eye masks, Q-tips and toothbrush kits for those who need them!) Overall, it strikes the perfect balance of a true cabin stay and just the right amount of tech/amenities - not right in your face, but exactly where you need them. With instant coffee in my pack, I was overjoyed to find a full coffee making station, including grinder, Chimex, scales, kettle and fresh beans - even detailed instructions for the perfect pour-over! The beds were super comfy and there were plenty of blankets and linens. Not a lot of property to enjoy, but there are great hiking trails, forest routes and streams all within minutes, and great restaurants just 20 minutes away. It rained. So we put on some tunes, hit the porch and enjoyed board games.

This rental was absolutely great! The host was super sweet and extremely flexible with checking in and out, which meet our needs! Lots to do for our kids, beautiful scenery, and very well kept. Highly recommend and would like to come back again!

Great stay! The house is pristine and so comfortable to be in. We felt right at home. Very well stocked kitchen, everything we needed to make meals, appreciated all the coffee choices. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning and relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking. Our highlights from the area were Chimney Top (45 min north), Pike Knob (20 mins) and the Via Ferrata. We’d love to be back at some point!
