Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Pello

I stayed in this house for one night and I have to say it was fantastic. Beautiful house, large and very clean. The host is very helpful and friendly. For the price paid it is really a deal. I highly recommend it

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

The house is beautiful, clean, cared for, tidy... It is very spacious. And the area where it is, it's beautiful, a little out of the city, but that makes it special. That has been very helpful at all times. We were very comfortable in this home.

Very lovingly furnished AirBnB in a great location. Walking in about 10-15 minutes you are in the city center and yet the location of the accommodation is very quiet. The kitchen was super equipped and it was very cozy. There were cozy slippers, a fireplace and a selection of games. The beds were very comfortable too. We had a great time and highly recommend the place. :)

Very nice place to stay in an idyllic location. Two separate areas with shared living rooms, great for our young people and us. Everything was there. Beautiful residential area, still walking distance to the ski resort. From the place you can make nice excursions and Anna has given good tips. Communication went smoothly.

A perfect stop for a larger group, on the way from southern Finland to the North. Everything worked flawlessly and the equipment was adequate.

Pasi is a very responsive and friendly host. The house is typical and at the same time very pleasant with all the necessary comforts, the bedding is of good quality and there is everything you need in the house and nearby. We recommend and thank Pasi for our stay.

We had an amazing stay here. The location is very quiet, the snow was still white (unlike in the city), though the road to the place can be slippery. The apartment is large enough, well equipped, very clean. I think the kitchen has everything you need. We were lucky enough to see the auroras almost every night during our stay here, it was perfect! Thanks for making our last days in Finland even more magical!

This is sort of an unique place. If you are looking for a quiet little cabin in the wood in order to reconnect this is the right choice. Certain aspects are a bit strange, but this is due to location and so on. Great experience and the hot tub during the night with the snow...it is totally worth it!

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Loved the place, wonderful sauna, beautiful balcony. Owner was super responsive, attentive and communicative. Sofa bed is not the best for 2 adults but it's soft and comfy, we had children with us so they slept fine there. Will definitely look for this apartment next time i stay in Rovaniemi!

Mia’s place is a gem! We were so glad to stay here, near the amenities of Akaslompolo but much quieter and also free of light pollution. Being able to get on the cross country ski tracks from our door was amazing… particularly because these tracks are virtually empty, like you have them to yourself. And, the kota (traditional hut) is really special… stocked with firewood so that you can use it when you want, anytime. We saw the northern lights 3 out of 4 nights!!!!! And we loved the cozy atmosphere of the cottage. Once you figure out how Finnish saunas work by using Mia’s instructions in her book… it heats up really nicely in 30 minutes OR you can set a timer for when you are going to arrive back. We loved it here!

Very good welcome, well organized, very clean, apartment in a good location, activities next door, shops / convenience stores 24/7, good restaurants but high prices, correct price of the apartment.

The place was very cool. On foot, however, you have about 15-20 minutes to walk to the shop and therefore you are almost dependent on a car. The location is very quiet and you feel like home. Everything is pretty close, whether for skiing, cross-country skiing or other activities.

The place was in a great location with a private sauna, and near the ski resort.

We loved our stay at Sampo’s place. The cabin had an amazing view of the river and is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. We saw the northern light over the river right from the cabin. The place was well equipped with all necessary things and the availability of snowshoes was nice! Sampo was always responsive to all of our queries throughout the stay A small note maybe, we would have appreciated if the coffee and sugar was available. Overall, we had a great time!

We loved our stay at the cabin and it is the perfect spot for a cozy winter getaway. Walking distance to Ylläsjärvi ski resort and other beautiful winter walking trails. Anita was extremely helpful and always quick to respond to all of our questions and provide local advice. Definitely recommend staying here :)

Beautiful cottage for family holidays. Very easy to access and at the same time alone in the forest. Beautiful walks directly on foot. We enjoyed the sauna and the northern lights visible from the garden if the weather is clear:)

Everything was as described. We had nice, quiet and relaxing days. The sauna and the view of nature was our highlight.

We've rarely felt so comfortable. The house is very cozy and lovingly furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped and a variety of basic food is available. On the day of departure, a reindeer greeted us in front of the living room window. The evenings in front of the fireplace were very relaxing and another highlight was the wood-burning sauna. Although the tap water is noticeably ferrous, Sampo provides more than enough drinking water for cooking and drinking. If you are looking for solitude and peace, this is the place to be. The windows in the house cannot be opened and a hairdryer is not provided.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and well equipped and the hosts were very responsive to messages.

The stay at Jemina and Jupe's was the most beautiful part of our short Lapland vacation (6 days of which 2 were at Jemina's). If you're looking for a place off the beaten track and a real Lappish experience, then this Airbnb is for you… as long as you let Jupe and his snowmobile take you around the woods. We had an unforgettable day with him, complete with lucky fishing (I caught a trout :-)) on the frozen lake. Jupe was also very attentive to the wishes of our two children, whom he also let ride his snowmobile (with him) for a good part of the journey. He entertained us with his hunting stories and helped us solve a small problem with our car. Absolutely recommended
