We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was a very quiet and a wonderful place to see the northern lights! The cottage was warm and cozy and had everything needed for a comfortable stay! We would highly recommend!

We recently stayed in Tero’s amazing house and I can honestly say, it was one of the nicest Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in. The house is beautifully decorated with lovely wooden beams. The ambiance is warm and cosy and it feels like a home away from home! The amenities are top-notch, including a fully equipped kitchen, living area and spotless bedding, and even a sauna, perfect for warming up after a day out in the snow. The location is great too! Nestled in a wooded area, it is just a short 10 min walk to Santa Clause Village, shops and restaurants. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Rovaniemi. I will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you Tero for your amazing hospitality!

Good value for money. Super Clean Good location (airport 20 minutes / bus stop 20 m / 2 convenience stores 5 minutes by car) Quiet place We loved the sauna. Some small flaws: missing some utensils, the back room is a little less warm than the rest of the house. We recommend this place.

We thank Matti and Marita for the nice time in the house and will be very happy to come back. It was totally relaxing and we felt at home from the 1st second. The house is very cozy and warm, perfectly clean and the bathroom was newly renovated with foot underfloor heating and anything that makes it pleasant. The sauna was great. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Beds were very comfortable. The internet was very fast and is fast enough to work from there if you have to. We enjoyed the trip to the reindeer, the cross-country skis and recovered very well during long walks in the woods. The hosts were always approachable and totally helpful. It was very interesting and we learned a lot about Lapland and Finland. Thank you for everything and hopefully until soon!

The house is very quiet at the end of a street, from the living room you can look directly at the river. We had everything we needed there and the beds were very comfortable. Only the TV reception was so bad that there was no movies to watch in the evening. Otherwise, everything was fine! (:

We were a group of teachers staying at a close school. The place was good for us and met our expectations (there were 9 of us), plenty of space and comfort. We also enjoyed walking around and seeing the northern lights :). We also appreciated the food that was available, kitchen equipment, and common space to spend time. Henri was communicative and helpful host.

We had a very nice time at this place! Wonderfully quiet location in beautiful surroundings, ideal to switch off and relax. For activities you often have to drive a while, but you are in the middle of nature and can just go outside at night and see the Northern Lights (if any are to be seen) - that was a very great experience! The sauna was also very pleasant (the hot tub was unfortunately frozen and out of order at the time). There is everything you need in the house and it is very cozy there. We were there with our two-year-old son, and he also felt very comfortable and had - like us - a lot of fun in the snow!

Amazing experience. The location is great for seeing auroras (we saw them!) and only half an hour from Rovaniemi. The lake is very beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped and cozy. The only issue we had was the door locks which are not intuitive. The host's communication was very good. I highly recommend this accommodation!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Mist! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature but still close enough to local attractions. The hosts were friendly and made sure we felt at home. Outstanding accommodation with Madeleine and Sandra being exceptional hosts. We couldn’t fault anything. Breakfast was perfect and brought over to us every day, with choice of foods including eggs, cereal, fresh bread, homemade jams and yoghurts. The house was very clean and tidy and the facilities were great, especially the jacuzzi and sauna. Great shower and good range of kitchen equipment to prepare meals at home. Everything was straightforward to use, including the jacuzzi, sauna and open fireplace. The stairs were steep but that didn’t affect us and added to the charm of the house. Excellent personal touches. They even baked us a Birthday cake as a surprise!. We booked this place as a base for visiting Overkallix (20mins) and doing winter activities there, which proved perfect for us. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again or recommending this place to others.

We had a lovely holiday in Sanna’s beautiful home. It was perfect for the whole family - even better than we had expected from the photos. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes drive to the town but so peaceful and right across the road from the lake. We enjoyed so many walks on the lake, ice fishing with the equipment Sanna provided, the hot tub and sauna and the youngest member of the family expended lots of energy on the bouncy castle in the basement. Sanna was so helpful with recommendations in advance. It has been a wonderful family holiday, aided by good weather, bright blue skies and great sights of the northern lights. Thank you for a wonderful country style rustic authentic and super pleasant stay! Sandra and Madeleine were so welcoming and kind. This was far beyond a regular airbnb experience, and we couldn't thank them enough so we strongly recommend not to think twice. They brought us a wonderful breakfast every morning, took care of every little thing whole also giving us space. Thank you, we hope to be back!

This was a super place to stay with my 3 kids (11/9/13). The place was super clean and relaxing. Satu was always available for questions and really responsive. The view is amazing and we saw the northern lights when we went for a walk on the (very quiet) road. Would defiantly return!

The cabin was great and Saara was very accommodating and responsive. The location was beautiful, and we were able to see the northern lights while standing on the frozen lake! The sauna was warm and cozy, and Rovaniemi was a short drive away. Thank you for hosting us, Saara!

I highly recommend it, it's a perfect holiday destination, without any disturbance, quiet and beautiful. There is a small river behind the house, although it was still frozen when I came, but I can definitely imagine that it will present a beautiful picture in summer.

We had a great time. The surroundings are very nice and quiet, a bus stop is within walking distance to get to the city. In addition, a lake and hiking trails through nature are right nearby. Rauna was very friendly and helpful, we felt very comfortable. The private sauna was great and everything was clean and well-equipped with everything you need! The value for money was great and the Airbnb met our expectations.

Such a lovely home in the centre of Rovaniemi. The place is so welcoming and clean. Few steps to the shopping centre to get your grocery. Host is flexible with check in time. Highly recommended!!!!!

A cozy vacation home where everything worked well. The stove was quick even though it wasn't induction. Likewise, the oven and sauna heated up quickly. Shop within walking distance, the ski track was also found a nice distance away. Peaceful yard😀

The House of Johanna is very cosy and warmful. We loved our stay there : a very confortable living room with wonderful fireplace to rest after day activities. bedrooms and bathrooms were Perfect. The kitchen has all apparels. The sauna was highlu appreciated and easy to use ! We saw borealis auroras from the garden, window and even from our bed !! Johanna was Very proactive and helped us to find some activities in Ranua. I highly recommend the place !

My stay at Taistos house was absolutely perfect! The accommodation was spotlessly clean and fully equipped – the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. The private sauna was a highlight and provided pure relaxation. The view was breathtaking, and I was lucky enough to see stunning Northern Lights right from the accommodation. An unforgettable experience! I highly recommend Taisto and would love to come back anytime.
