I really enjoyed my stay in São Vicente. It’s the perfect location, walking distance of the beach. You have a living room with kitchen and the room and bathroom are clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely come back.

Miguel welcomed us very warmly! He explained the principle of the association he leads (Volunturismo). If you want to stay in this home, it's very interesting and rewarding to participate in the life of the association. Unforgettable stay in this lovely haven. The beautiful house is located by the sea with a lovely pool as in the photos. Not only the house and very pleasant but Anny is a very welcoming person, in sharing and human experience. She also has a good network/knowledge and a small team to make the stay easier (drivers to take you and pick you up from the departure/arrival points of the different hikes; evening meals prepared by Isa, Verdian cape for a maudique sum and excellent, much better than at the restaurant). I travel a lot and can assure you that I have rarely met such hospitality and this range of service without forcing. I leave with great memories and new friends! Thank you again!

This is by far the best place I've stayed. I am a dedicated airbnb member, and I was extremely satisfied with this host's apartment. The location is by far the best part! It is a 5 minute walk from Laginha's boardwalk. The room is a great size! Bigger than I thought it would be. The bathroom itself has its own bathroom. You'll feel like you are in a guest house. Every morning I was given breakfast- which was something most host's don't offer. Overall, I enjoyed my stated and would definitely come again! Plus the price is amazing!

cozy and clean place with amazing views

The view from the terrace is really the highlight of the place. We also appreciated the authentic charm: the vintage furniture and structures. The room (4) was spacious with ensuite bathroom. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was plentyfull. We liked the fact that there was a communal kitchen with all appliances one would need. We cooked by ourselves one night and enjoyed our dinner while watching the sun set on the terrace. The owner was very friendly, and informed us that soon he will start some renovation works. The only downside was that the floors got dirty quickly (in common area and in the room) but was not cleaned in the 2 days we stayed there. Also the water in the shower was quite weak. But as said, after some works it will be an even nicer place to stay. We recommend.

Our team loved their stay at Elsa’s place while in town for The Ocean Race stopover. The apartment was well equipped, secure and walkable to town. Elsa went above and beyond to ensure they had a great stay and was always quick to respond to any questions. Thanks for having them!

Nice clean place that you will enjoy.

We've enjoyed Cindy's place a lot. It is perfect if you want to work remotely with a beautiful view or to just relax. It is very spacious and cosy. Terrace is definitely better than it looks on the pictures! The view is amazing! :) . We order traditional breakfast twice and got THE most delicious Catchupa we have tried on the island of São Vicente. I would definitely recommend this place further.

We stayed with Thierry and Ira for 2 nights and felt very comfortable. We were able to leave our luggage there before checking in, Thierry drove us to the harbor and helped buy tickets for the ferry. The two are always available, very helpful and prepared us a great breakfast. The cinnamon was clean and cozy, the shower was warm and had water pressure, we will be happy to come back :)

Highlights: Unusual and exotic place. The staff is very careful for you. Breakfast is included and very good and varied. The view of the ocean is breathtaking! The evening meal is great and hearty! Things to improve: The address you provided is incorrect. We went to Ponta do sol as indicated on the listing while the place is in Cruzinha. Without a response from the host, we found thanks to Booking and locals in Ponta do Sol who were very nice and helpful. The pool is not sufficiently maintained but the owner has ordered all the necessary equipment (pumps...) to resolve the situation as soon as possible. Inquire before. Guests were still swimming. The owner is very nice. Please note that there have been 2 listings on Airbnb with 2 different rates.

This is the perfect place for hiking in the area ! Helder welcomed us with open arms: local tips and good breakfasts. He even organized for a bus to take us back to the ferry. The location is great: you can walk to Ribeira Grande center in 5 minutes, for the restaurant and markets. This is also the place where you can catch the public buses for the hiking spots.
