A great place for a short stay in Taormina. Great location just by the gate to the old town, and literally in front of the bus station for public transport

We particularly liked Angela's on-site support. We were super briefed on everything. Chiara was always available and provided us with a parking space within 5 minutes' walking distance. Many tips helped us to quickly find our way around the village. Many thanks to Chiara and Angela. There were six of us in the accommodation and we also took care of ourselves. Everything was sufficiently available. Dishes, glasses, pots and pans. We say thank you and would be happy to come back.

It was a cozy and modern space where the host felt a lot of affection for the accommodation! Paolo was a really super kind person: (We arrived on the night train and arrived quite early, but right before the people met us before they even checked out, and they helped us check in after that: (They were so kind and thankful that we were so sorry. Roberto welcomed us very warmly, the house is very clean and cozy and there is a great restaurant nearby, there is a church near the house with a very beautiful view, highly recommended, if I return to Sicily next time, I will choose to stay in this house again!

We stayed here for 3 nights over Easter weekend. Paola was very responsive from the moment we made the booking. She also assisted with restaurant recommendations. Her father - who stays just below - was incredibly helpful and friendly! He offered us some home made sweets which is part of their cultural celebration of Easter and made us feel at home and welcome.

I would recommend this place, we were very well received by Manuel who even helped me with my suitcase. The accommodation matches the photos, very clean, well decorated and equipped. It is perfect for 2 and is ideally located: close to a supermarket and 5 min walk to the main street of Taormina, while being in a quiet area.

It's an amazing village! And Cesare is a great host! The arancini at 20m are super good, the bar is typical and friendly, and there are very nice walks all around. My only regrets: not staying longer, and not speaking Italian well to be able to communicate with the inhabitants of the village who are very friendly.

Lory's place is as described, the terrace is fantastic as are the views over the sea and to the horizon. There are a couple of good restuarants close by but you will need a car to fully enjoy the experience. A great quiet place to relax, unwind and get away from everyday life.

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

This a wonderful house. It is thoughtfully decorated and well equipped. The sea view from the orange and lemon grove is really beautiful. Some reviews have mentioned noise - not an issue, with the church bells being the main sound you hear! Caterina and Francesco were perfect hosts and made sure that our young family had a great stay.

We had a wonderful time at Manuela's place! The house is fantastically beautifully decorated and the garden is simply breathtaking – including unforgettable views of Mount Etna, which we were even able to experience in action. The surrounding area also offers great excursion possibilities: we especially loved the beach on Isola Bella with the cable car ride to Taormina as well as our day at the Alcantara Gorge. Manuela surprised us with loving attentions such as oranges and small Easter nests, which immediately made us feel welcome. Thank you so much for the great hospitality – we will be happy to come back!

A simple but beautiful villa with plenty of space, several terraces and a beautiful and unobstructed view of the sea. From there you can explore the area on foot or by car and you can discover something new every day. Be it the Castello, the Capo Milazzo or the old and new center of the city. The house is simply furnished, not up to date, but this also has its charm. Yes, there are no real showers or air conditioning, but this has been made up for by the view, the spacious garden and much more. I would like to highlight Alessandra and her family. Super friendly, helpful and respond very nicely and promptly to inquiries. Thank you for 2 great weeks in Sicily.

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

This is one of the truly best experiences we have ever had. If you are lucky enough to be physically fit and able to do the walk this is once in a life time stay. The walk up the “goat track”is stunning and the peace and quiet and view of the other islands from the house will take your breath away. The house inside is comfortable and clean and the outdoor covered kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. Alfredo is really helpful and brings you extra things you need.

Great apartment with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Perfect beach location. Restaurants and supermarket very close. Maria is a great host, making you feel very welcome ready for your Sicilian adventure.

It was a wonderful holiday thanks to the hospitality of Giovanni and his cozy house with a cute garden from which you can admire Etna. The house is equipped with absolutely all necessary necessary for a comfortable stay. I would recommend having a car for rent, especially since you could always find a parking space near the house, which is very rare in Sicily. From here you can easily reach Taormina, Catania, Etna, Syracuse and even Palermo. Fondachello beach is a 5 minute drive away by car and we could even swim at that time. Close to many stores and good restaurants. I would recommend having small coins for parking in major cities. Many thanks to Giovanni for his hospitality and care!

The appartement was more than expected! The photos are already beautiful but in reality it is even better, we were stunned About the balcony and the rooftop with amazing vieuw! Every morning we had breakfast with sunrise. The night of Arrival we were very late, Giovanni made sure we had Some food and drinks. Very good host! Taormina is beautiful and has so many choiches in restaurants, bars and amazing stores. With just a few minutes of Walking you will be at the cable car wich lead to the beautiful beach isola bella. The appartement is very clean, great bathrooms and nice beds. Whe had an amazing stay here, 5 stars from us ✨

Casa Lionessa, the location and the communication with Chiara was above my expectations. The view from of the bay and Mt Etna from the sunny terrace both day and night was spectacular and being across the road from the gorgeous park and moments from restaurants, bars and the Bam Bar made this an ideal romantic holiday location. The support I received from Chiara when my lugguage was lost by the airline was amazing. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

If you’re looking for a safe, secure, and spacious accommodation that feels isolated but is right next to everything you need to see in Taormina then you found the spot. The apartment has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Sicilian coastline and neighboring Calabria. Beautiful pool, gardens, and easy access to the Main Street of Taormina. The place was stocked with supplies, plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, some food, and a delicious bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Highly recommend for a first time visit to the area!

Antonino was a great host, the house is as described, equipped with every comfort. House on the ground floor not exposed to the sun so cool but equipped with heating. Great value.

This apartment looks newly refurbished and is a stone's throw from the main promenades of Taormina. In actual fact, in reality the apartment is bigger than than it looks in the listing photos. The bed was super comfy and the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. Also, all reasonable utensils for self catering, including a tea pot for British guests! A note, please make sure you hire a smaller car as this will be appropriate for the available parking and getting in and out of Taormina for excursions.

Cozy farmhouse surrounded by greenery with large outdoor space where the children had fun playing freesby. Sea view and view of Etna while erupting! Ideal as a base and then move towards Catania, Etna, Alcantara area and Taormina and in any case the highway is 10 minutes away. Really nice!
