Our stay with Margriet corresponded in all points to the photos and description. The house is spacious, especially downstairs with a large dining table and enough seating for 8 people. Tastefully styled, practical and plenty of kitchen utensils, a beautiful sun terrace and a super boathouse with canoes and saps, the absolute highlight for the grandchildren. They hadn't expected anything so nice (because Grandma had skimmed over it in the description). Therefore, this was our absolute highlight at Margriet's. Martina and family in April 2025

We stayed at het magische meerhuisje for two nights and really enjoyed it. The space felt very private, even with the few other houses surrounding eachother. If the weather would’ve allowed I know we really would’ve enjoyed the lake that lays in front of the outside part. Everything was clean and fresh upon arrival. We also enjoyed the closeness to the city Groningen. A great place to stay for a few nights if you are looking for a peaceful stay!

I stayed in the studio for six weeks and I had a great time. It was very peaceful, close to the bus stop for Groningen but also close to countryside walks. I would particularly recommend the house for longer stays—the studio has everything that you could need and is very comfortable!

Good location, nice on the water Cozy and fully furnished space. Very friendly reception and guidance by Olaf. A plus is the garage box nearby that we could use, because parking is difficult in Groningen and the availability of bicycles.
