Waterfront vacation rentals in Pataias

Joao's place was a great base from which to explore Nazare and surrounding areas, and to visit Porto where we stayed a few nights and the Douro valley. The appartment was comfortable, well equipped and conveniently located near a supermarket. The bed was very comfortable. It was easy to communicate with Joao and he gave us recommendations for local food spots. We would definitely come back and stay here.

We loved our stay in Nazare. The town is incredible and our host was friendly and welcoming. She was very clear with check in and showed us around when we got there so we were clear on everything. We visited in the chilly off season and she’d placed extra blankets out for us and set the heat so we’d be warm at night. The location is perfect and view incredible. She left us pastries and port on arrival and the apartment was very clean. The only thing I didn’t love was that all the lightbulbs were very bright white (I’m super light sensitive so it was a “thing” for me but maybe not for others… this is also something we noticed at a lot of restaurants in the town). I can’t recommend the location enough! It was an easy walk to both south and north beach and the parking was a huge plus for us.

Joao David's place was perfect for a night in Figueira da Foz area. I came through hoping to surf the famous right point (which you can see right from the apartment deck) on my way back north to Porto (after a couple months in the Algarve), but alas the conditions were quite rough and didn't line up for good surf. Nevertheless, I had a cozy stay in the stormy weather at Joao David's. The kitchen is super well equipped and though I only stayed one night, I prepared a couple great meals to take with me on the road. The apartment is spacious, clean, and has everything you need to be comfortable. Loved that you could see the ocean and check the surf conditions from the apartment. Please note the apartment is on the 4th floor (so 5 floors up) and you need to carry your bags up there (no elevator). Would definitely stay again!

One word to describe this place: VIEWS! Stunning views from both the living room and the bedroom. Walking up to the sound of waves and the most incredible sunsets in the afternoon was priceless. Absolutely gorgeous. The flat is cosy and it has everything you need for a nice and comfortable stay. The flat is just a few minutes walk from the centre, with shops, restaurants, cafes and most importantly: the beach. Beautiful town Ericeira, I can't wait to come back.

Tout s’est très bien passé chez Telma qui a toujours été de bons conseils. Le logement était fidèle à la description, propre, spacieux et très bien équipé et il a été très agréable d’y séjourner. La balcon sur la vue mer est très agréable. Le quartier est comme promis paisible et les alentours sont très agréables. Nous vous conseillons ce logement, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Yes, believe the comments :-) this apartment and the host are amazing. what i like about Nuno that he took the time to get us know us personally. He is a busy chef in the restaurant, nevertheless he took the time. and when there was a storm over the region he checked if we were okay. You can tell the qualities of a good chef like at the apartment: clean and tasteful. thanks for the great time! we were in Peniche Mid March, for hiking in the region. get a rental car and explore the region its beautiful. although we can not surfe, we enjoyed the atmosphere of all the surfers. and when there was a rainy/cold day (normal in March), the apartment was great for a cosy day inside. the heating is enough to keep you warm. we hope to come again to Portugal next year

Tiago is a warm, wonderful host. His penthouse apartment was just as described and the balcony offered the best views of the ocean and amazing sunsets! He offered so many wonderful recommendations and even left us a bottle of wine and some delicious local pastries. He sent a detailed video the morning of our stay, on exactly how to find the building and check in. Make sure you watch it where you have Wi-Fi if you don’t have unlimited data. We had an amazing stay at Carlos' villa with our group of 13 adults and 3 babies. The villa is incredibly spacious, with 12 full beds and additional sleeping options on the comfortable couches. The large garden was perfect for the kids to play in, and we thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and spacious, clean Jacuzzi. The kitchen was slightly used but very functional, offering plenty of room and every kitchen item we could possibly need to cook for our group. The barbecue area is large, though located a little far from the kitchen by the parking area. The rooftop terrace provided stunning 360° views, and the sunsets were simply beautiful. The villa is located in a peaceful, quiet area, just a short 10-minute walk to the beach, which we loved. While walking to the beach is easy, having a car is ideal for reaching larger supermarkets, which are about a 13-minute drive away. Parking offers plenty of space Overall, this villa was the perfect choice for our large group. Highly recommended!

Octavio had great communication. Somehow I booked the wrong dates leaving me one night without a room. He had already booked the apt for that night but found me somewhere else in the neighborhood instantly. That took a lot of stress off me

A Casa do Trovador superou as expectativas. Já esperavamos uma casa espaçosa e com vários pontos de destaque. Mas ao chegar, achámos que as fotos não fazem justiça à vista e à localização. Com vários espaços de lazer, mesmo com o tempo menos favorável, foi uma estadia muito agradável. A comunicação foi impecável em todos os momentos. Recomendo imenso para grupos e famílias que queiram passar tempo juntos onde espaço não falta!

Absolutely luxurious home. Minimalist design with comfortable modern furnishings. Direct access to cliffs with a breathtaking vista of the Atlantic Ocean. Wonderful walks in both directions along the cliff face leading you down to picturesque beaches and highly rated restaurants. Pierino’s Cliff would rate as one of the best Airbnb we have been fortunate enough to stay in. We would definitely love to return one day.

Amazing view! Spacious for our family of four. Vanessa was very responsive to any questions we had. Quiet, private location and just a short car ride from Ericeira and local beaches. We recommend!

It's so good I almost want to write a bad review to keep the place all to myself. The space is amazing in every sense, spacious, well-equipped, with breathtaking views and lots of options for both privacy and group activities. Claudia is an outstanding host, highly helpful and responsive. The views — don't get me started on the views, Peniche (and this particular spot) are forever in my heart and the hearts of my friends who joined me. I wish I could buy a place right next to this one. 100/10, see you guys next year!

I could not recommended more this place in warmer seasons! A beautiful house, with a breathtaking view, amazing garden and well equipped kitchen. The surroundings, amazing too, very quiet and beautiful. Ideal for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature. The host was very friendly and responsive. However, the heating, even with a fire place, was not effective and the house was very cold, specially in the bedrooms. If the heating is not improved, I will not go back in winter. But in Spring-Summer, this is a place to go!

In the simplest of terms, I’m already reworking all my vacation plans for next year to come back. There’s a magic to this house and this place that is indescribable. João was so helpful and invested in the success of my stay, the food he had prepared and waiting in the fridge was delicious and simplified everything in my planning, the bird song every morning was soul restorative, I could go on and on! I loved the home and the host and cannot wait to come back for a longer stay next time.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, le logement était mieux que nous avions imaginé ! Vue imprenable depuis la terrasse. Le logement est très bien équipé et la plage a 100m. Nous recommandons fortement.

Es war alles super. Die Lage ist Nah vom Zentrum und am Fluss. Das einchecken wie das auscheggen liefen Reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich.

Nuno war wahrscheinlich der beste Gastgeber, den wir jemals bei AirBnB hatten. Freundlich, herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Für uns als Surfer war es der perfekte Urlaub. Nuno hat uns sogar Bretter zu einem mehr als fairen Preis besorgt und hatte auch super Tips für lokale Surfshops, Restaurants und auch für richtig tolle Wellen! Wenn wir geschrieben haben, hat er sofort geantwortet und hat uns geholfen. Bleib bitte so! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Hemos pasado una fantástica semana en el apartamento. Es un piso cómodo, limpio y muy bien situado con unas vistas estupendas. Cosas a mejorar: una cama de matrimonio mayor.

The hosts were very responsive to any questions I had before the trip. They provided numerous restaurant recommendations and they were available to answer any questions during the stay. Their place has a great view of the beach. The kitchen has plenty of space and we had the windows open for the entire time.

Óptima localização. Casa nova e totalmente equipada. Anfitriã simpática e sempre disponível. Recomendado.
