We went to spend the end of the year with another couple of friends and we were able to cook everything we wanted (well equipped kitchen), celebrate without disturbing, we did not lack firewood to heat the house. Antonio left us everything we needed. We have been very comfortable, like at home and there is a lot to do in the surroundings (hiking trails, Visit to Coimbra, Figueira da Foz, etc.). Antonio is attentive to what we need, he is very friendly and has passed us a lot of interesting information. The house is a rehabilitation of an old windmill…great! In the garden there are many orange trees, idea for the morning zumito. House highly recommended!

Our stay in the house has been great. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The hosts were very helpful at all times, paying attention to any details so we didn't miss anything. It is an authentic luxury to be able to enjoy a house surrounded by animals, especially for children, who have lived a unique and very positive experience. It was undoubtedly a perfect place to disconnect as a family and enjoy a different experience. 100% recommended!

Pereira is an amazing host. Upon arrival we were received by the caretaker. He was very polite and gave us a tour of the house and its amenities. The house is gorgeous and perfect for rest and relaxation for my family. The water pressure is amazing. The rooms were spotless. My 8 year old loved the open concept. The oranges taste great off the orange trees in the backyard. I highly recommend Pereira's house for a quiet relaxing time with friends and family.

If you’re looking for a place to disconnect and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the countryside, this is it. The location of Casa do Tio is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, but the real treat is simply staying in and soaking up the peaceful atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quiet and stylish getaway that got beautifully restored. Also the towels smell amazing, but the mattress was a bit too hard for our taste.

Very nice and well-functioning home in beautiful and quiet surroundings. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and warmth, and we felt very welcome. Even though you stay with the host, they were very discreet, but at the same time available for help when needed. Home very well equipped and there was everything we needed. When we arrived we got lovely wine from the farm. We can recommend the place to anyone who loves peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings. The only improvement is the mattresses in the room with the single beds. It is highly recommended to eat at the restaurant in the blue house in the village. You can also take lovely walks in the countryside around the farm.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mr Albert’s stunning apartment. The property is ideally located, close to everything, which made our experience even more special. Mr Albert went above and beyond to accommodate us. He kindly waited for our arrival, gave us a detailed introduction to the apartment, and explained everything about the property and the local area. Everything was perfect. We were staying five nights with our three year old son and we felt at home, he also enjoyed a lot of the company of the animals: dogs, cats, horses and chickens. Åse and Lars were very kind and were attentive to our needs at all times. The accommodation is very well located, surrounded by nature, but close enough to some beaches and places of interest such as Alcobaça, Óbidos, Caldas da Rainha... An unforgettable experience that we would like to repeat.

We had a fantastic stay at West Coast Villas; this place is a jewel by the sea, with great ocean views and nice walkable sides. The host was always communicative and responsive! Obrigadisimo

We really enjoyed our stay. Linda & John were so friendly, fun & helpful. Our place had all the amenities of home plus more. Looking forward to staying there on our next trip (hopefully soon).

We had a really nice stay here. The views from the pool are incredible! The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of trails a short drive away. My partner used the canoe and went out on the lake. The owner lives next door and is very relaxed and friendly. We took our dog and she got on very well with his two dogs. If you have a baby it’s worth asking in advance if you need a cot as we didn’t do this and one wasn’t available. If your baby is very mobile it wouldn’t be very safe on the pool deck as there is a big-ish drop.

Fabulous alternative accommodation and very responsive friendly host

This place is a delight! I loved how homey it felt. The design was wonderful, and with all the windows it really let nature in. I came without a car, which was a mistake! Definitely have your own wheels to get around as it's not really walkable. Everything was comfortable and clean. Wonderful stay!

Very nice small studio, with an available host, a great terrace and good wifi connection. Quick access to Sintra. Small downside, it was a little chilly at night this December. But, overall, we recommend eyes closed! We'll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed the stay at Filipe‘s place. The house is close to a beach with small bar and a pizza place. You can surf here and it‘s 15min by car to Ericeira. We did a workaction here, if you are looking for something similar we can recommend this place.

The perfect balance between a farm with a lot of history and a super cozy chalet and with a very beautiful frame on the vineyards. Very well received by Mrs. Lucília and Mr. Armando. We will be back for sure!

Very friendly host couple. Excellent company. Waking up to a view of a vineyard and a mountain landscape is impeccable. Everything was very clean and exactly as described in the app. Intended to return 😄
