This beautiful and tranquil 3.5 acre beach retreat is located approximately 15-20 minutes from downtown Ocean Springs. Ideal for those who want to enjoy a quiet getaway but close enough to enjoy all the shopping and nightlife that Ocean Springs has to offer. Property has waterfront beach on the Mississippi Sound. The home is a two story true log cabin with 2 king beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and all of the amenities of a great stay with the classic details of a log home. We have seating for the family around the table, excellent Wi-Fi, a great fire ring out front, and so much more. We're only a few blocks from the beach and right off the Davis bayou!

The Hippie Rose is just incredible! Beside being extremely well decorated with the most unique touches inside even the surrounding area is like a beautiful secret garden. Every time you look at the them there is something new to discover. It’s so peaceful that would never want to leave. But if you have a car it’s just half an hour from the most incredible beaches and restaurants. Laurie is an amazing friendly and fun host. And the cohost Nellie Belly the cat is super cute and welcoming. I highly recommend to anyone to stay here.

Terry was excellent host! Her home provided quiet, safe stay in beautiful furnishings with every amenity. She even had a fresh bowl of water for my fur baby at check-in! The fenced in back yard perfect for fur baby to explore and outdoor covered living space perfect for morning coffee and evening relax time. I will absolutely stay again and recommend to others who need a perfect home away from home in the area.

Peaceful and enjoyable, the house was clean and comfortable. The only problem was the steps to loft if we were younger we wouldn’t have any problems. Loved the place outdoors and the host really made us feel comfortable. When we come back we hope the host has another place with the different staircase. Thank you for making our stay comfortable and welcoming.

Hi. I stayed here for a graduation, and the place was phenomenal. The home was clean, organized, and spacious. The mattress was SOOO comfy! There was extra blankets, towels, and cleaning supplies such as napkins, detergent, and complimentary body wash, shampoo & conditioner. The AC unit saved my sleep lol. The wifi was also great and fast! 10/10 🥰

It’s a very quiet neighborhood. So peaceful and the ocean breeze is lovely. Best of all, and I’ll never forget this, I needed the host for something important. I contacted him, he responded quickly, he got my questions answered, and I was able to continue with my stay in Mississippi. Without his help my plans would’ve been altered.
