Very nice condo and amazing views. The parking and luggage carts were easy to find. The checkin/checkout receptionists were a little condescending and seemed to look down on the Airbnb guests (vs the owners). The condo itself was very beautiful and the amenities + beach view were fantastic. The whole family Loved this area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Sol Searcher Beach House! 🏖️ The decor was very cute & charming, creating a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. 🛏️💕 My husband absolutely loved the movie style recliners, & discovering the food tray was a delightful surprise! 🎬🍿 The locked gate on the patio was a fantastic feature, giving us peace of mind knowing our dogs were safe and secure. 🐶🔒 One of my favorites was the comfortable & relaxing hammock on the master patio. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the ocean breeze. 🌿🌅The house had everything we needed, from a variety of seasonings to dishes for our furry companions. 🍽️🐾 Being extremely close to the beach was a huge plus 🌊 Andrea was incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns we had, making our stay even more enjoyable. 👩‍💼💬 We highly recommend it for a relaxing and memorable beach trip!

We had a great time at Jennifer's place and she was very helpful the entire time. The place was close to where we wanted to be and had all of the things we needed. The neighbors were also very nice and actually ended up giving us fresh shrimp they had gotten from the Gulf that day. Really enjoyed our time there and would likely use the house again.

Seaside Serenity is a perfect description! Location is in a low populated area away from the chaos of the main strip Seawall Blvd. Loved the view of the Gulf from the balcony and the boardwalk to the beach for walks on the beach. Heidi answered any questions in a timely manner. The bed was the best!! I usually need an extra layer of foam when I travel but not this time. Heidi equipped the condo with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We looked forward to returning each day after exploring Galveston during the day! if we ever return to Galveston, we would definitely return!

My partner and I enjoyed a 3 night stay at Joey's place prior to taking a cruise. The unit was just as described, clean and tidy as well as comfortable. We walked the block or so to the Seawall for a morning long walk. We also caught the trolley just a couple of blocks away and took it to Kroger to pick up some groceries. You can take the trolley along the seawall or take one into downtown to visit the strand. We enjoyed the Fish Taco restaurant one block from Joey's place. Our Uber ride to the cruise terminal took only a few minutes. We would most definitely stay here again.

Julie and her husband Ron made my first Airbnb experience absolutely wonderful! They were always available to assist us with anything we needed. The house was stunning and pet-friendly, featuring comfortable beds, TVs, bathrobes, and everything else we could possibly need. Very spacious! The freshly baked cookies and cut flowers were a lovely welcome gift! It was a perfect weekend. It's now the only place I want to stay whenever I visit Galveston, I hope to be able to return soon! I highly recommend!

Dana’s place was perfect for a girls trip! Four of us stayed very comfortably. We all loved it there and felt right at home! The place was clean, had comfortable furniture and beds, and the walk to the beach was so easy! The views from both inside the condo and off the balconies were amazing!! We also really enjoyed the pool. Another positive is that it was easy getting from the car to the condo as it was right across from the stairs or you could take the close elevator. We would definitely stay at Dana’s place again!

The house is gorgeous and it has the most amazing views. Sunrise from the master bedroom windows was the highlight of each morning. The owners were helpful and very responsive - we had one or two small issues at checkin that they handled immediately. We loved the closet of board games! The area is quiet and there is only one grocery store but it had everything we needed. We didn’t go to any local restaurants. A few things to consider: the listing says 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This is true but one bedroom and bathroom is in an apartment downstairs so it wouldn’t be good for kids. It is a longer walk than it appears to the beach. It was fine for me and the kids but would’ve been way too far for someone with mobility challenges. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I had hoped (no real glass wine glasses, only plastic, not a lot of silverware, short supply of spatulas etc). Finally, there were no amenities for the beach, no buckets or shovels, no beach towels, so pack your own.

We had a great time at this nice beach side property. It was very clean, spacious and had great ocean views although it was not a beach front property. It felt very safe in the nights. The walk to the beach was short (just about 5 mins) and there is also a private access to the beach. We enjoyed the bbq grill. Overall, the stay was awesome and we wish we had stayed longer.

We had everything we needed to cook and the bed was comfy. The deck is to die for! The host was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again for sure!

The place and location were wonderful. We will definitely stay there again. If we’re in the area, the lift was not available, It does not say that in the description so we were a little sad about that because the stairs are no joke while hauling stuff upstairs. And the other thing is the handrail did cause a a lot of large splinters In our kids hands. Other than that, the property was beautiful the Location was beautiful.

Hosts were extremely responsive to any questions or issues. Super helpful during the hurricane that came thru during my stay. It’s close to UTMB and perfect for someone working a rotation at the hospital. I would recommend this spot to anyone especially if you are looking for a long term rental.

This is such a cute spot and exactly as described. We traveled as a couple with a friend and for 3 adults it was quite comfortable. The pullout bed is the easiest I've ever dealt with and our friend said "it wasn't so bad. I slept ok". My favorite was the front yard. As a plant enthusiast, I fully enjoyed the greenery and cute landscapes the yard had to offer. We basically rented this place to sleep but we have no complainys about the time we spent there during our 2 night stay.

Pleasure Pier was an easy walk, and we even walked over to Moody Mansion one afternoon. The house was perfect for our family. All four cousins slept comfortably in the bunk room with the trundle, and I really appreciated having my own bedroom downstairs with a cozy bed and a TV to unwind after a packed day. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway with great walkability!

Anchors away was absolutely amazing. It was cozy with an obvious beach house feel to it. With pamphlets showing good places to eat and Houston being so close by, There were many things to do there. Whenever I come back to Texas, I 1000% will be looking to stay here again!

Anchors Away Wonderful Beachfront Condo!

We enjoyed Anchors Away so much! The view was awesome and the condo was the perfect size for 2 people. Everything we needed- beach towels, beach chairs, kitchen equipment, etc. was there for us, and the condo was so clean. We also loved the peaceful location far enough away from the seawall to be relaxing, yet close enough to the seawall to make dining and activities convenient when you wanted them. Lisa gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities in her welcome letter. The staff at Islander East was so helpful and friendly making us feel right at home. Great 40th anniversary trip! We hope to stay here again in the future!

Really appreciated the extent she and her cleaning crew go to to provide a seamless check in and stay. Would absolutely book again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 26th year anniversary staying in this clean, quiet and comfortable Condo. The View from the Balcony was phenomenal and having private access to the beach was a great plus. Mark and Mayvic were wonderful Host and were very communicative. As well the Front Desk at the Islander East was amazing and super helpful! We so enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again!

What an incredible restorative experience to wrap up 2024! The serene and beautiful surroundings allowed us to unwind completely. We always felt heard and taken care of. My Sweetie is quite particular and hard to please, yet he had no complaints about our accommodations. Given his high-stress job, I wanted him to relax, and he truly did. The nights were wonderfully peaceful, and we appreciated the little touches, like having a wine opener available when we forgot ours! We can’t wait to return whenever we can. I was thrilled to find it available when we needed it! I did Yoga the entire time with a view of the Gulf of Mexico and Sunrise.

Tony and Carly are amazing, responsive, friendly hosts!! Their condo Pelican’s Perch was beautiful, clean, well organized, and had clean and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms!! The 2 decks with one with a high top table and other with lounge furniture was ideal and their wi-fi is fast. An added huge bonus were the 3 ceiling fans and 2 dehumidifiers that partnered with the a/c units so very well! Happy that I selected their condo and looking forward to next stay!
