House vacation rentals in Parys

We had a wonderful stay because the place was exactly as advertised. The caretaker( Tishash) was there to assist and was welcoming, although there were a few things that did not meet my expectations.... Like finding cockroaches at the place, the awful smell of the water, and also the gravel road to get to the place was abit of the distance with lots of potholes.

This place is absolutely wonderful, and the photos don't capture its full beauty. My family and I reserved the main house, and we had an amazing experience. The owner had excellent communication which I really appreciated the caretaker was very hospitable. I highly recommend it for large families.

We loved our stay. Few teething problems were resolved swiftly. I would look into getting some training to the cleaning team . We shall be back in a few months !

The place was beautiful and exactly what we needed to end off the year. The unit was remote and peaceful with beautiful surroundings. The house is well laid out and spacious. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and the lady who helped clean and tidy everyday went above and beyond.

This is one of those homes that you wish could stay secret, because you want to go back again and again. Just magnificent. We hope to visit this home often.

I loved my stay,the house is bigger more space and the host was very welcoming. I enjoyed doing my work in a peaceful environment and quiet,I loved the outside shower.Renschi is always available to help. Definitely rebooking this place after June again. I enjoyed my stay and my check out was not even rushed,as it was 11:00❤️

This was my first Airbnb experience, and it exceeded my expectations! Mel was an amazing host—quick to respond and incredibly helpful when we had trouble opening the door. The house was exactly as shown in the photos, which was a pleasant relief. She checked in to make sure we were settled and offered assistance if needed. Her hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The place is beautiful. It is part of a wedding venue. We stayed in the big house. There are other smaller units on the property. When we went, there weren’t any other guests in other units, so we could use the pool and the seating area at the bottom of the lawn all for ourselves, which was really fantastic. The house itself has everything you need and is beautifully decorated. It was cool enough for warm days and they provided fans, which we didn’t really need as the house was cool. Some other plusses: they provided tabard for mosquitoes, two helpers that cleaned each morning at 10am, plenty of crockery, plenty of seating space and tables outside, three braai areas to choose from, 4 bags of braai wood and ice. The host was friendly and welcoming. We all had a fantastic time. The wifi was a bit tardy sometimes, but mostly worked well - can’t expect more from that location. We traveled the road easily with normal hatchback cars, but if it rains for days expect some big puddles.

What a wonderful venue especially as we could moor our boat and JetSki after a fun day’s activities on the river. The house had everything we needed.

The place was exceptionally relaxing and clean. Very good for a getaway relaxing break. Mari and the lady who manages the place were very attentive and non obtrusive. The house was cleaned and prepared daily. Would definitely recommend. We had a lovely time

Cleone is a great host and the house is equipped with everything you need. Very comfortable beds and lovely garden, verandah and lapa areas. The house is spacious.

My family and I had the time of our lives. We were 16 in total and were accommodated comfortably. We got more than what we expected as the place looks so much better in person! The scenery was incredible, the sunset was spectacular. We will definitely come back again. If you’re planning to make your way here, please use a big car, the road is really bad.

We had an incredible weekend getaway at this beautiful spot on the Vaal River! The place was not only comfortable and clean, but Linda and Andre were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. We caught so much fish, and they showed us the best spots to enjoy it all. The swims were perfect, the braais were fantastic, and everything about the stay was just ideal. It’s the perfect escape from the busy city—highly recommend!

Beautiful place on the dam, was so easy to walk down and get on with some fishing. Lovely spot, the bedrooms are separated and have their own bath/shower and toilet with a communal kitchen and lounge. The TV has been updated and the dstv was a bonus for the kids. A homely environment with the requisite requirements. Thanks Wendy.
