House vacation rentals in Free State

We had a wonderful stay because the place was exactly as advertised. The caretaker( Tishash) was there to assist and was welcoming, although there were a few things that did not meet my expectations.... Like finding cockroaches at the place, the awful smell of the water, and also the gravel road to get to the place was abit of the distance with lots of potholes.

A beautiful, spacious place with places of entertainment and great attention to detail. Perfect for a family or friends. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back without hesitation.

Beautiful house with all that we needed and more!! Belinda was very helpful and friendly. The property is in great condition and has everything that we needed! Fireplaces were also very welcoming and gave a great feeling. The views are spectacular and we loved the stay!! Many thanks !!

what a wonderfull weekend in an amazing house with amazing facilities. The huge garden let us set up our badminton nets, soccer nets and the under cover boat house was amazing. The help that lives on the propperty was extraordinary and avalible all day when needed. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure

Make that booking!!! I 1000% recommend this beautiful house. We felt right at home and Karen was truly a gem, I will be coming back a few more times I think I finally found my home away from home.

What a beautiful and roamy home with all the necessary amenities to have a relaxed family weekend. The 5th room is an outside room and gave the young ones a bit of privacy from the "old people". We had a wonderful stay in a lovely peaceful neighborhood in a safe security estate, but with seamless access as arranged by the owner. There are plenty of bathrooms and enough room for all the guests to be comfortable and relaxed with absolute attention to detail in each space with all the luxuries you would need for a weekend of spoils away from home. We had a very special family breakfast and would count the days to visit this house at Vall Marina again in the summer to also fully enjoy the outside amenities in the warmer months.

Beautiful view from almost every room, inside is very modern , solar but also Eskom electricity on those rainy days made a big difference. Clean rooms and bathrooms Private and very safe area Few nice hikes inside the estate easily accessed from the house which was great fun Thank you for a lovely stay

We stayed the night before Sani2C began at Glencairn Farm, and what a fantastic surprise! The house was perfectly located to the start, so easy for registration and arrival the next morning. The scenery is beautiful from the patio over the water in the morning. It was a perfect nights rest before embarking on 3 days on a bicycle and in tents. I will definitely be back in the future.

A wonderful place to stay! We would love to come back for a bit longer. This lovely stone cottage is as cozy as it looks in the photos. A 4x4 or high-clearance vehicle might be advisable, especially after the rain.

We really enjoyed our stay.The hosts were very accommodating and way and beyond to make us comfortable and warm.They separated the double bed into singles to cater for our preference.They provided firewood on their fireplaces,and by the way they have an indoor braii area which we put into good use.On our second night,they even provided a gas heater for us.We really felt warm .This house has classic furniture.Thank you so much.

My family and I enjoyed our stay - this felt like home away from home. The pictures didn’t do it any justice, the place is more beautiful in person. A safe haven indeed, from the busyness of the city. Everything looked amazing and perfectly located. The host was easily accessible and proactive, not to mention friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the house to visit splashy fen, and although it was a 45 minute drive, it was a wonderful and peaceful and spacious home for our large group. Sani pass is not too far away so do pack passports for the trip. The house is in need of a little maintenance here and there but a beautifully decorated home with a stunning view.
