We had a great stay, very nice place and clean, friendly and active staff with good restaurant food, also perfect for the kids, our 1 year old son had so much fun in the play area in the garden, such a good experience…

Charl accommodated us a big family of 12 so well. He welcomed us even though I'd forgotten to make prior arrangements. Lovely place !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kokolofitwe, located just outside of Vredefort, and I can't help but recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. The host was incredibly responsive and welcoming, making the entire experience smooth from start to finish. It's set in a peaceful area with local wildlife, providing a disconnect from the constant buzz of city life. In short, if you're in search of a peaceful escape with a touch of adventure and the comforts of home, I highly recommend a stay at Kokolofitwe.

We’ve stayed in 6 other accommodations over the past weeks and this one was the best, especially the shower🤪The view was amazing and there are multiple swimming pools. The hosts (and their dog😉) were really friendly and we had an amazing braai dinner, with fair prices, at their restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. Perfect stop when you travel from North to South or the other way around.

It is a wonderful stayover with a grand view of the Gariep Dam. Staying here allows you to refresh on a long journey, take in some incredible views of the Gariep Dam, and experience a little history of South Africa. You have several ways to relax with amenities on-site, like the pool, hot tub, and restaurant.

Very clean and comfortable. Indoor pool was welcome after a long day on the road. Great view of the dam. Great place to stay on the way to or from the Eastern or Western Cape.

I had a great stay at Shani’s place! The apartment was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a great location. Check-in was smooth, and the communication was clear throughout. I especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, coffee and magazines to read . It was perfect for a solo traveler. Would definitely stay here again!”

Beautiful overnight after a long day on the road. Louise was very accommodating on the late arrival. Wished we had more time to enjoy the views, as we had to hit the road early the next morning again.
