It was my first time using Airbnb and I loved it! The place was wonderful

Even with the gondola being down in kicking horse at the moment, we are glad we never changed our plans and kept our great reservation at the Smiley Wolf! The beds and space is very comfortable and the photos don’t even do as much justice as the actual place! Thanks again Ben and Vera!!

We had a fantastic stay at this property. Firstly, the views are surreal; like something out of a movie. Each morning, wed wake up to herds of either elk or deer grazing in the field below the mountain views. The marsh, across the field, was great for bird watching. The cabin-like home was very spacious, clean, cozy and all the necessary supplies - and more, were provided for our stay. The property is located perfectly; it’s just far enough into the wilderness to provide tranquility although still within a reasonable driving distance to the town of Golden. Les and Krys were fantastic hosts. They were very quick to respond to our questions and provided us with privacy. We will, without a doubt, be returning to this property for a vacation in the future.

Absolutely breathtaking slice of heaven! The fully fenced yard was perfect to let the pup roam while we enjoyed the hot tub and mountain views. Having well marked trails straight from the door that led to the river is exactly what you want in a beautiful place like this. 10 out of 10!

Great, clean place as our base for the weekend. Host was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with! Would highly recommend for a peaceful vacation.

Loved the cabin! Made me feel like I was back in the Colorado mountains. The view from the deck was incredible. There’s a beaver lodge down at the river, so you hear the little guy munching away; with some binoculars, we were able to see him swimming around which was super cool! Would definitely stay again. If you like a firm bed, choose the bedroom by the living room. Soft bed lovers, choose the one by the bathroom. Bring slippers as the floor is tile. For those curious, the cabin is about 2 hours from Banff proper.

Nice clean, private, peaceful place to stay.Everything was exactly as stated in the add.Provided towels, linens, plates, soaps and some condiments/spices that I forgot. They had firewood available for us to use as well. Awesome place to stay highly recommend to anyone looking to unplug !!

The cabin was amazing, exactly has described. Stef was very responsive. The view from the private deck off the bedroom was breathtaking and the private hot tub was perfect after hiking. Golden was very close so it was very easy to get groceries or supper. The access road was very well maintained. I cant say enough good things! Will definitely be back!!

I don't know what else to say except, book it now! We absolutely loved Kristin's place. We are frequent Airbnb guests and I have to say this one is Top 3 favorites. We are also huge animal lovers so the fact that it came with horses, cats and dogs OH MY! It helped us from missing our dogs at home, thank you for sharing them. When you meet Pixie and Burgess- be nice to them and give them ALL the pets and love! The place was very clean, great views and convenient to downtown Golden that had restaurants, grocery store and yes Tim Hortons! The airbnb was our home base while we traveled to Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise and everywhere in between. Would absolutely stay here again and again. Felt like home instantly!

Stayed with another couple and our dog. Everyone enjoyed their stay so much!! The cabins were cozy, perfectly clean, and very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The outdoor spaces with connecting decks were perfect for sharing dinner or morning coffee. The area was great for walking our dog, and there were beautiful views of the lake just down the hill from the cabins. I’d recommend bear spray for anyone who plans to walk around the area (we forgot ours and did see a mamma bear w her cubs). Debbie was very helpful, friendly, and quick to respond when we had questions. We’re already looking forward to a return visit!!

This wooden house is truly beautiful. We had an amazing stay. The place is located in the middle of a lush forest, with deer running around. The house itself is huge, gorgeous and has a great piano next to the fireplace, which musicalized our nights. It’s a quick drive to town, which is totally worth the peace of quiet nights in the mountain forest. Moreover, Erica was a great hostess: super quick to respond, friendly and adapted to our needs. I very highly recommend staying at this cabin, and hope to repeat in the future!

The cabin and surrounding area were amazing! Was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed. There was so much wildlife to see from the large windows. So many deer just grazing on the property, was very cool to just sit and watch them go about. Richard was an excellent host and Watson was very adorable. Would 100% come back and stay again. Felt right at home in this cozy place. The town of Golden was great to explore and had so many great eateries and surrounding activities to stay busy.

If you are looking to escape the fast pace of life, this is the place to do it. Limited cell service, no TV - but instead surrounded by natural beauty of trees and mountains. This cabin had everything we needed, and the town of Golden was a short drive away. Our dogs absolutely loved roaming the property and we enjoyed the peaceful scenery. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. I would absolutely book this place again!

We would definitely stay here again. It was peaceful and private. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was wonderful and felt private and the surroundings are beautiful.

Kaley and Martin were amazing and friendly people. They are very responsive too! The cabin we stayed at was exactly like the images and how I imagined it, and more. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet, cozy cabin I highly recommend!! Will definitely be coming back if I stay around the area again :)

The cabin was absolutely comfortable and clean. It’s very quiet and fresh in the trees. Snow was melting and making the experience even better resting while listening to the melting snow and birds’ chatting. We had a very good time here, very peaceful and relaxing. Love it!

The host was very communicative, making the entire process smooth. The location is convenient, just about a 20-minute drive from Panorama Ski Resort—very handy indeed. The house is well-equipped with everything one might need, making it perfect for a family getaway. Though there were only two of us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Noticing the air conditioning, we reckon it would be just as comfortable in the summer—an excellent place to stay while enjoying a round of golf at Greywolf Golf Course.

This cozy house in Golden provided the perfect getaway. The peaceful atmosphere allowed for true relaxation. Liza's hospitality as a host was truly remarkable and greatly appreciated. Her caring nature made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this charming accommodation!

Good location close to the beach. Lots of sleeping options and well appointed. As advertised but the photos do make it look bigger than it is. Tyler was responsive and had minimal cleaning instructions (just take the trash out, don’t have to do a bunch of chores at check out which was appreciated). We would definitely stay again! Great for families.

This log cabin is truly beautiful. Great location, great communication. Stocked kitchen with great appliances and coffee, and they provided a crockpot upon request. If you’re traveling with kids, room upstairs does not have blackout shades, downstairs rooms do. Was a little tricky to find in the dark. If arriving late, maybe ask if pathway lights can be left on for you. BBQ was also challenging to light. Great map for ski in/ski out. Our experienced skier kids loved the trail home! We really appreciated the option of having the trash removed by their team. Checkout process was so simple! Overall it was a great stay! If you’re looking for a mountain log cabin stay, this place is a great one.

Amazing place to stay! Off the beaten path with no one around you. It is a beautiful cabin. When it was raining it was no problem because with the big covered porch we could enjoy being outside or playing board games in the house she had. Love it !
