Wonderful host. Always quick to respond. Place was absolutely amazing! One night stay but will definitely be back for another stay. Peaceful atmosphere- got to see a family of deer wandering from afar! Thanks for the great communication.

It's a bargain, 30 minutes to Hocking Hills, 20 mins to Athens. Only $39 a night for your own fully furnished studio . Includes kitchen and full size washer/dryer and flat screen tv. You can even build a fire out back in the fire pit if you wish. The hosts were very responsive to my needs. For comparison pricing most camping spots in Hocking Hills go for $30-40 a night. I will definitely be going back. BTW great hiking in Hocking Hills during the day and great restaurants in Athens in the nightime

Dave was a great host. He answered any questions I had, before, during and after my stay without delay. The space is very peaceful and was perfect for my stay. The renovations he has done give the apartment a nice modern touch and look. The location is nice and quiet, which was perfect in the mornings and nights. Overall I had a good experience with Dave and his apartment!

Hazel's "Downtown Townhouse" was exactly as described on Airbnb and exactly how the photos portrayed it to be, very comfortable and CLEAN!!! We loved our short stay and would stay again on our next trip to Parkersburg. My husband liked that 7-11 is within walking distance. I loved the basket of water and goodies with popcorn and chocolate left, which we used for a movie night in. Thank you Hazel for being such a gracious host. Cindy & Paul

Cute little place to stay. Out of town, so not as much commotion.

It was perfect for what we needed, in a pretty spot, close to Athens, and there's a Kroger just a couple minutes away. Convenient, full-sized kitchen with everything you need, and our boys really loved the bunk bed and smart TVs in every room ;) Thanks Josh!

We stayed at Gregory’s place on Market st for a week ( June 2 - 8 ) . Gregory was responsive and accommodating , he message you right back as soon as possible. The place is beautiful, well equipped and organized kitchen. The bathroom is super clean and even has a toothbrush for the guest. The bedroom and living room are great, we felt like home. ⭐️⭐️ Private parking lot , you can see your vehicle from the bedroom 👌🏽👌🏽 Ohh they also have 2 TVs , one in the bed room also one in the living room/ Kitchen. We will be using Gregory’s place again soon.

Awesome spot, In a tiny little town.. the restraunt thats maybe a 20 second walk from the front door is actually really good. Overall enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to book in the area.

We loved staying here! The location to OU is so close and a nice place to stay. We loved being able to walk to the Mill and checking out all the plants, seeds, etc... Awesome store! House was clean and check in was easy with the directions given. It was exactly as it was described. I would highly recommend.

Bob’s place was charming, quiet, and the decorating was lots of fun. The furniture was comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen well supplied and squeaky clean. My husband appreciated the offer to see Bob’s MG as they are both fans. We felt welcomed at his place. Checking in and out was flexible and easy. Will ask to stay again on our way through.

Perfect location in the center of town! Everything is very walkable. The town is filled with a bunch of friendly people. Recommend visiting the historical Society a couple doors down for great information about the area (open on Friday and Saturday). If you call ahead, you can make arrangements for a more in-depth historical experience. Fun restaurants, a couple shops, the city rolls up its carpets at 10 PM. The furniture is as pictured, very dated, but still comfortable. The Airbnb is located directly above the oldest hardware store in the State of Ohio. We had no issues during our weekends day.

Cindy was great! I would highly recommend staying at her house, it was clean and organized, Cindy was very kind and welcoming. It was very close to uptown.

The stay was overall very good and we would recommend this property. The location was beautiful and secluded. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. Instructions on how to access the property were prompt and detailed. The garage apartment smelled very good and was exceptionally clean. It is set up more like a studio. The entryway is where the first bed is located with laundry and bathroom. The second bed is located in the main studio area. The laundry was very helpful with detergent available. If you have pets, please kennel them as there are pet deterrents behind the couch that could be dangerous. Overall it is a 5/5 rating and we have shared the listing with family for when they stay in the area.

We had a wonderful stay! Was perfect for a much needed getaway to Athens. And we’re able to bring our pups! Hosts and space were great! Would definitely stay again!

This is a wonderful, clean, and convenient place to stay if you are visiting Athens or Ohio University. Everything was as detailed in the description and in others' reviews. The apartment was very clean, had everything we needed for five people to sleep comfortably, and there were some nice extra touches too. The location is great. You can walk uptown or to campus in 15 minutes, and be along the Hocking River in 5 minutes. The Jackie's O's Cannery is just a few minute walk away and is a great option for a family-friendly place to grab a drink (and hopefully a delicious sandwich from the Bagel Street Deli food truck if it's open when you're there). This apartment made for an easy and enjoyable trip to Athens and Ohio University. We didn't need Christine's assistance at all, but she made clear she was always available if we did need it. Highly recommend!

Janice’s place was very well kept. Other reviews mentioned the great snacks, but I was still surprised at how well she stocked us up! She did a wonderful job. The kitchen has all of the necessary items to cook for yourself, there was plenty of coffee available, and extra towels on hand. The paper towels and toilet paper were quality too! She made it feel so welcoming! It was so much better than getting a hotel, and it allowed us to easily get to all of the places we needed to, without having to drive 30+ minutes one way each time. Would absolutely book here again when visiting the area.
