We had great stay, very friendly and helpful hosts. Quite location and close to the cycle ways for the kids to do a bike ride. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we are ever down the way again

Beautiful house inside and out. Was exactly like the pictures showed. Very cozy and warm and had a lovely homey feeling. Was the perfect size and easily accommodated our group of 5 adults and 1 child. Lovely host who always responded promptly and was friendly and accommodating. Best Airbnb we have stayed at so far. Excellent accommodation in picturesque location. We enjoyed a home from home experience. The Smart TV was a benefit with a wide range of viewing options after a long days sightseeing. We highly recommend to anyone considering a visit to the area. It's an easy run into Wellington so avoids staying in a built up area.

What an absolutely stunning place. Beautifully located in nature, with a gorgeous little stream flowing through the garden. The house is beautifully designed and fully equipped – everything you might need is there. Truly a fantastic spot. Hosts Scott and George are real superhosts – thoughtful and caring. Great place to stay especially for a family getaway or catch up with friends. The peaceful atmosphere and well thought out ammenities really made it. Great to have the garage space for activities and the kids toys really helped entertain the kiddos. Will definitely be back!

My family and I had a lovely 2-night stay at Lis's property - it was peaceful and very clean, exactly like the photos. Kitchen was fully stacked with all the pots, pans, plates and cups you needed plus other kitchen appliances. Lis was very communicative and check in was easy. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Otaki area. Plus, the little treat she left us was delicious! Thank you so much Lis x

Cindy's whare was the perfect place to host a house of kaumātua. It was clean, pristine, the kitchen had everything to prepare meals. We were thankful for the neighbours too as they reminded us about rubbish/recycling day in and amongst a busy film festival schedule. A beautiful spot.

We had a great stay. The place was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. There was a fully fenced backyard which was perfect for my dog, the sofas were super comfortable for relaxing, the beach was just short 10 minute walk away. Brenda was super flexible and accommodating, when we had an extra person turn up on our second night Brenda allowed them to stay at no extra charge. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely little place. Viv is a great communicator and was generous with supplies and arrivals/departure times. Totally adequate as a base for us to stay while attending some training nearby.

Friendly hosts, close to the beach, spacious place, hot tub (!) and two cuties (dog and cat) welcoming us upon arrival. We were unlucky with the weather, but the hot tub made even the rainy evenings enjoyable. We will definitely come back!

Stunning views. Even though you’re in the bottom floor of the house it’s very quiet and private. Roomy enough for lots of suitcases. About 5 manageable stairs and a good hand rail if you have mobility concerns. Handy basic supplies in the kitchen cupboard and laundry. Comfy sofas and bed. I can see why a lot of other reviewers go back again and again.

Ultra clean & spacious apartment with private access. Amazingly comfortable bed, great shower with nice toilettries, nice glasses & crockery. Linda had thoughtfully left breakfast provisions: eggs, bread, butter, milk, and beautiful chocolate. Access to a long, flat, sandy beach is next to the neighbours house. Thanks Linda & Shane

Plimmerton and the Punga hideaway is the perfect spot for a weekend away, its a great wee spot and we would be more than happy to stay again if we are back again some day, excellent place and hosts.
