Captain Alexandros and his wife Emilia are remarkable people who both embody the tradition and honor of Greek hospitality. We are received as if we were distant cousins, they know how to be both attentive, caring and discreet. The accommodation is located a 2-minute walk from the start of the pedestrian area, with a quiet street, which means that although it is in the city, you are not disturbed by the noise of cars, nor restaurants in the tourist center, while being close to everything. Note, however, that it is high up, which gives a beautiful view from the terrace but also means a hill for people who have difficulty walking, this could be a problem. The bedding is of high quality: the bed is large, 160 I think, which is rare in Greece and particularly comfortable. There are many pretty things to visit in the area, we stayed 4 days and that was a minimum for us.

Absolutely loved our stay! The space was immaculate, exceptionally clean and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel more like a welcoming home than a typical rental. The decor inside and on the porch was beautifully curated, creating a calm, cozy atmosphere that instantly felt like a home away from home. The location was also perfect - just a few minutes walk from restaurants and cafes, yet peaceful and quiet. What made the experience even more special was the wonderful host family. They were warm, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. You can tell they genuinely care about the property, and about creating a great experience for their guests. Very highly recommended — I’d return in a heartbeat!

This is a beautifully renovated home with a fantastic view. The home is super comfortable and cool in the summer. Stenies is one of the prettiest towns in Andros and is less than 10 minutes from both Chora and the beach. The communication from Spiros and his team was also exceptionally good, which we really appreciated. We highly recommend staying in this lovely home.

We felt totally comfortable in Eirini's house. She waited for us on the main street when we arrived in the evening and took us to the house. The access road is very steep and narrow (paved), but you get used to it. It's absolutely quiet for that! Eirini gave us eggs from her chickens (which you can also hear outside from time to time) and delicious homemade muffins. Fragrant shrubs grow everywhere around the house - it is pure relaxation. We will be happy to come back.

After seeing that Touchstone House was mentioned as: Best village stay, by Conde Nast Traveler, we were delighted to find it on Airbnb. We loved it. We loved the design, the gardens, the pool and many patios and the eclectic mix of high-end amenities and Mediterranean simplicity. It’s a great house to relax, hang out, chill and be comfortable in, with many outdoor areas. It is close to Chora and the beach, with amazing walks and still private and secluded. We enjoyed going through the village and up the pretty path. Everyone was hospitable…kind and polite. We got fresh farm eggs from the neighbor. The staff is brilliant and all areas are impeccably clean and maintained. We will definitely be back. Andros is amazing. John.

Stayed in the house of George for 5 nights, everything were perfect, the area very nice and peaceful, a few steps from Chora's centre surrounded by beatiful houses and buildings in general, a lot of entertainment possibilities and perfect food in the area. Local goods and perfect local sweets in a walking distance through out a very beautiful pedestrian street. George is a perfect host. Fully recommended

Perfect place for those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle, people and problems of the big city. Incredible sunrises, cicadas singing, roosters rolling, starry skies and gentle sea. Not crowded beaches even at the height of the summer season. Very comfortable stay. Thoughtful to the smallest detail for your coziness. Designed in gentle blue Greek tones, a comfortable bed, windows with blinds and mosquito nets, a full set of dishes, a kettle, a coffee maker, a drying rack with clothespins, an iron, an ironing board. There is salt and sugar, olive oil, coffee. Two large water bottles were waiting for me in the fridge. It was very relevant. Thank you! There are plenty of towels in the bathroom, shampoo, gel, soap. My special delight is the window in the bathroom overlooking the sea! That's so great! Incredible view from the balcony, hopefully I will dream for a long time in my beautiful dreams of Greece. I want to say a big thank you to the hostess for her hospitality, sincerity, my comfort and personal transfer from the bus and back. Thank you Dimitra, Greece in my heart!
