Papagayo Peninsula vacation rentals

We spent a month at Claire's place and it was so relaxing ! The house is beautiful, fully equipped and peaceful surroundings. Waking up to hummingbirds and the sound of monkey was a wonderful experience. We went there with 2 babies and a toddler the house was equipped with a high chair and a travel crib which was perfect. The pool and the house were cleaned weekly to ensure we had a clean environment. The king size beds are truly comfortable and the bunk beds are a great addition for families with young kids (even though they were a bit squeaky !). The only detail that wasn't a 10/10 was the wifi that was patchy and the smart TVs that were really slow and would close unexpectedly. Claire and Christophe were really friendly and would always answer our questions quickly. I would recommend to anyone who visits Costa Rica to book Villa Loulou without hesitation !

Me sentí muy contenta con la hospitalidad, la verdad es que la villa estaba súper , nosotros alquilamos la 28 queda cerca la de la recepción a las piscinas del resort un poco largo igual hay carritos para trasdarse o puede caminar por un sendero de igual manera nuestra villa tenía una piscina así que básicamente ni salimos ja ja , todo muy lindo olía bien todo equipo muy feliz mi familia y yo nos encontando creemos que volvernos pronto y probablemente a la misma villa muy contenta con toda la atención 🫶🏻

This was by far one of the most beautiful AirBnB's we've every stayed at. It really felt like a mini resort. We had two families, and everyone was able to have their own room and space. Most of our time was spent in the gorgeous pool or in the outdoor kitchen. The pictures are accurate, but everything is more wonderful than the pictures. There is wildlife everywhere - gorgeous birds, geckos, howler monkeys down the street. The pantry off the kitchen protects your food, and we had no problems with bugs (we were told it was the time of year). We did have a couple of friendly birds that begged for food, but they were amusing to watch. The location, though remote, is in a gated community and was very safe. It was only a 10 minute walk to a beach that seemd almost private...not more than a few dozen people at a time on a beach that had to stretch for a mile. Do not hesitate to rent this place!!!

Excellent value for the cost. Excellent reception by the staff. Outstanding location. I will definitely be staying there again for a short trip to Tamarindo.

Absolutely wonderful stay! I visited with a few of my college friends, and everything was seamless and smooth from start to finish. The place was picturesque in every way—beautiful, well-maintained, and exactly as described. It was also perfectly located, close enough to the beach and nearby restaurants to make everything convenient and hassle-free. The host was outstanding in communication, always responsive and helpful, ensuring that we never had any lingering, unanswered questions. Overall, a flawless experience—I highly recommend it!

We just came back from a week-long stay in this beautiful house. The pictures shown in the listing do not do justice, it is a very large house with plenty of room for 4 adults, the views from the pool and master bedroom cannot be beat, the location is great (listening to the howler monkeys at night was an added bonus), there was always plenty of hot water, and the pool is huge and was kept in pristine condition. The only slight negative we encountered was the requirement to not place any toilet paper in the toilets but rather place it in trash bags (we were not aware of this requirement prior to arrival). Other than that one minor surprise, we would definitely recommend Payton's house to anyone who wants a fun and relaxing vacation.

jean marc, and his entire team were so helpful and friendly. i was not expecting daily housekeeping, and that was a great surprise! the grounds were very well kept, and the pool was always cleaned several times a day! the location is walkable, but still private and feels very safe with kids. i would recommend

5 Stars – Unforgettable Beachside Retreat! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Palm Beach Estates! Dirk was an exceptional host—always quick to respond and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The house is just steps from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean anytime. We especially loved the outdoor grill area—it was perfect for cooking up the fresh red snapper we got from the local fish truck. So delicious! The pool was a major highlight for our family. The colorful lights at night made it feel magical, and we spent many evenings playing Marco Polo with our girls—such great memories. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, with great access to local spots and the beach just around the corner. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway!

La casa es espectacular, espaciosa y súper moderna. La calle es de lastre y si se tarda mucho tiempo en salir a la carretera principal. Las playas cercanas son muy rocosas, así que pudimos aprovechar bastante la piscina y las amenidades de la casa.

What an incredible place. It’s a few minutes outside Tamarindo and Playa Flamingo and worth the drive. The place has insane views and is so unique. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. 11/10.

We had a good time at Alexandra’s place, she was a great host, super accommodating and flexible. She was one of the friendliest hosts we’ve ever had. It would be helpful to have a car to get around, but only a 15 minute walk to the beach at Playa Grande and a few restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Alojamiento con cocina bien equipada, Doña Blanca Rosa muy atenta del hospedaje. El apartamento esta a unas cuadras de Playa Potrero y a 10 minutos de Playa Flamingo. El lugar esta cerca de muchas playas hermosas.

Casa Plumería es una casa de espacios abiertos espectacular. Una casa moderna de una planta con áreas iluminadas y frescas, que permiten disfrutar enormemente de todos los espacios. Nos pareció que la cocina estaba muy completa para una casa de playa y nos encantó el área de grill con refrigerador exterior para poder disfrutar de la piscina. El bonfire pit definitivamente fue un bonus. Todo estaba limpio y ordenado, permitiendo que nuestras vacaciones fueran perfectas. Definitivamente volveríamos a hospedarnos por acá.

We stayed at Paul’s Villa for 10 nights and had an amazing experience. The photos don’t do the balcony view justice — the sunsets each night were absolutely breathtaking. The shuttle service and drivers were friendly and really elevated our trip. Paul was very responsive, helped arrange a reliable airport driver who we used throughout the stay, and quickly resolved a small issue with the safe. While the pools looked bigger in photos, they were still enjoyable and a nice alternative to the beach. The beachfront restaurants were all great and easily accessible with the shuttle. Our only complaint — which isn’t Paul’s fault — was that red ants occasionally came in through the sink drains and front door. It wasn’t a huge issue, just something to note. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paul’s Villa, were sad to leave, and are already looking forward to returning next year!

Excellent modern house with all amenities close to restaurants and beach. Perfect for family stay.
