Vacation rentals with a patio in Papagayo Peninsula

It was one of our best stays! It's a very clean unit with an amazing view. The kitchen is well equipped with various pots and pens and appliances. The beds were comfy to my surprise and we all slept like babies. The pool was great and clean. They also had pool noodles, beach chairs, cooler and snorkeling equipment. Lennis was just great! she is super kind and the communication was very good. Definitely recommended.

Very good place for families

The Jaguar Village condo was a great place to stay. It was spacious, the bed was comfortable and it was in driving distance to several good restaurants. Lidieth was a WONDERFUL host…she was very responsive and she had good suggestions for places to visit around the area. She made sure that we made it to the condo safely as we were arriving at night, and we were welcomed with a lovely charcuterie board and wine in celebration of our anniversary. She even spelled out Happy Anniversary in flower petals on our bed! She is very thoughtful and very kind. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed, and we pretty much had the pool and tennis courts to ourselves the entire time. Plus the views were an added bonus to a lovely stay! I would highly recommend Lidieth’s condo for a non touristy experience in Costa Rica!

The place was perfect for our situation. We had a flight that was supposed to go to SJO and instead ended in Liberia, which resulted in us staying overnight. So we decided to have a few days in a beach town and stayed here. It was the perfect way to make lemonade out of lemons.

Excellent place to stay if traveling to the Potrero/ Flamingo area! The property grounds and rental unit are beautiful; the pictures are exactly what you get upon arrival! I loved drinking coffee outside in the mornings and watching the monkeys play in the trees! Communication with the host and family was great, and they left a binder full of recommendations for restaurants, beaches, excursions, and more! I look forward to staying at the rental again in the future!

Clean, bright, airy apartment right on Potrero beach. Comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, and a very well-equipped, spacious kitchen. 5-10 minute walk—via the beach if we wanted—to several excellent restaurants and a serviceable grocery store. Loved watching pelicans dive for fish from the balcony and the stunning sunsets.

Our stay was amazing! The property is beautiful, we even saw monkeys in the tree from our balcony. We loved how close it was to town but also secluded enough so we could enjoy nature. Would love to stay again! Keep in mind the parking spots are at the bottom of a steep driveway. Not far by any means but it is a steep walk up.

We had an amazing stay at Casa La Jolla! Located in a quiet, gated community about 20 minutes from Tamarindo, it was the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and easy access to town. The house was spotless, super comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. Jeff was a fantastic host—his communication was excellent, and he checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Any time we had a question or request, he responded right away. We highly recommend Casa La Jolla and would absolutely stay here again!

Phenomenal stay! Stop searching and book this place—seriously. This house is absolutely spectacular—pictures don’t even come close to capturing how beautiful and serene it is. The view? Unreal. Just breathtaking. It’s only a minute walk to the beach and a charming local restaurant, and just 5 minutes to town and stores. Benton was amazing—responsive, kind, and incredibly helpful. He connected us with a private chef, in-home massages, and local excursions, making everything effortless and personal. We loved watching the wildlife—colorful frogs at night and giant lizards during the day—and the pool was the perfect temperature 24/7. This home is perfect for couples looking for total privacy, but we can’t wait to return with our kids next time. My husband and I travel frequently, and this was hands down one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Thank you, Benton, for such an unforgettable stay. Incredible Villa in an amazing location! The peace and quiet you get in the hills is just perfect after you’ve had a busy day either in the city (short 15 min drive) or out doing excursions. The view and the pool are just heavenly, photos on the listing don’t do it justice. Can’t wait to come back!

Great place to stay! We loved the jungle feel at casa abejas and the salt water pool was amazing.

The first thing I thought when walking in was that everything looks exactly like the pictures. The place was spotless and the neighborhood is perfectly private and quiet. Security was attentive and friendly. You will definitely need a car to get around because the property is about 5-10 minutes from Tamarindo beach. It's a great location for a quiet relaxing getaway with a short drive to shopping, dining, and night life. We stayed for a week and would definitely come back next time we visit Costa Rica. We even saw a few howler monkeys in the nearby trees! Also, the water pressure and temperature were fantastic. No complaints at all.

Our stay in Potrero was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Francisco was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Amy was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and offer helpful local recommendations. The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable—truly a home away from home. The pool was nice and refreshing, a wonderful addition that made relaxing after a day of exploring even better. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the sunset experience in Las Catalinas and dining at Sentido Norte. Do yourself a favor and make time for both. The views are breathtaking, and the food and atmosphere at Sentido Norte are top-notch. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and well-hosted Costa Rican getaway!

The best review I can give is that is is a place I would stay at again and this Airbnb is one of those. The house was beautiful, the views fantastic, the location was close to everything we needed and the host, Lia, went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She had groceries delivered since we were arriving later in the day. Her recommendations on local spots were right on and she arranged a chef to cook for us on our last night and the meal was wonderful ( highly recommend it), Like I said, I can hardly wait until our next visit.

This apartment is outstanding and comes with every amenity you could ask for — even a dryer, which is quite rare in Costa Rica. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the ocean views from both the master bedroom and the living room are absolutely spectacular. Frances is a wonderful host — very attentive and always checking in to make sure everything is perfect. I can’t say enough good things about this place. It truly exceeded our expectations.

A wonderful condo in a quieter part of town with peaceful pools and beautiful views from the rooftop. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Words can't describe how awesome Laura and Melissa are! Before we even our started our trip to Coasta Rica they both greeted us and explained instructions very clearly. Upon arrival, Laura promptly gave us a walk through on the property's amenities. Not one item within the property felt like it was unnecessarily placed, everything does its part to add to the beautiful esthetics of the home. If you're a coffee or tea in the morning I'll highly suggest have a cup in the morning and taking in the view from the balcony. From a comfort perspective, the a/c and hot water works great. Also, During our stay, Melissa helped organize a boat tour for us that was a blast. I could go on and on about the beauty of this place but I'll leave my review with this, if you ever find youself in the Playa del Coco area looking for a place to stay I highly recommend choosing this location as a way to supplement the memories you're going to make while visiting this beautiful country.

We really enjoyed our stay. Place was kept clean and well organized. Appliances worked well. The location is a bit far from downtown and beach, so it was quite peaceful. The place had cooking ingredients that really helped us since we love to cook and enjoy homemade meal away from home using local ingredients. We didn’t need to buy a big cooking oil bottle for 2 days of cooking. Kids wished for water toys by the pool. The only thing few of us missed was really hot shower, but the issue was informed to us a priori. On the flip side, we might have got out of our bad habit of taking hot shower. :-)

We absolutely LOVED this place! Very spacious for our family of 4 (two teenagers who each had their own room). The concierge service was super helpful and friendly any time we reached out to them. We booked an ATV excursion through them and there were several other great options. The place was beautifully decorated along with all the necessities you would need in the kitchen. We stopped at the Price Smart(like a Costco) after we got our rental car for groceries, so glad we did that! There is a small grocery store in Brasilito for smaller items as well. The Beach Club was a wonderful perk to have access to other pools, a gym, and the beach. Definitely plan on coming back to this place!

David runs his business just like I do. It’s very simple honestly and integrity! You can believe everything he says in his ad. More importantly he stands behind everything he says or does. We had an incredible time staying there and can’t believe how inexpensive it was. You would be hard pressed to find nicer for twice the price. To give you an example of how he stands behind everything. He recommended a tour operator who was not exactly forthright. This was certainly not David’s fault but he came over immediately and without hesitation to refund my money. I really didn’t wanna take it from him since I felt it was not his responsibility, but he would not have it any other way. Just goes to show his integrity!!! His recommendations on restaurants was exceptional! You will never go wrong dealing with a man that has this much honor.

We loved our stay at the Matapalo! The kitchen has everything you need to cook for your family for the week. They even included 2 shopping bags for groceries in the laundry room. We also appreciated using the boogie boards at the beach! The TV was probably the only tricky thing to figure out. The grounds were beautiful! And we even saw and heard some howler monkeys in the trees nearby. It is a very short walk to the beach, and close to restaurants. I would recommend having a car if you plan to do a lot of cooking (which we did!). I would definitely recommend staying here to friends and family!

We needed a quick stay as our other Airbnb cancelled on us last minute. Ruslan’s place was the best price and reviews in the location we were looking for. The stay met our expectations. The place was comfortable and roomy and very clean. The a/c worked well and Ruslan even allowed us to check in early without asking. That was pretty impressive and very much appreciated.
