It was a lovely place to enjoy the beauty of Wales. It is set in the heart of Snowdonia with an incredible Mountain view! We would come back anytime!

Located in friendly village. Comfortable accommodation - loved the beds and shower. Great home base for seeing multiple sites in north Wales. Would stay there again.
A comfortable living area features a light grey sofa adorned with yellow accent pillows. Shelves are filled with books and decorative items. A contemporary painting is displayed above a classic fireplace, which contains a wooden log burner radiating warmth. A television sits on a wooden console nearby.

Lovely house and garden area with hot tub with great view! We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children so perfect size for us. Could feel a little cramped if 6 adults as only one bathroom and not enough seating for 6 in the living room but lovely big table in the dinning area. Great that there is a washing machine and dishwasher (don’t forget tablets though as not provided). Nice park with football goal and play equipment which our children enjoyed visiting about 10 min walk away. We also did a 5k walk from the house to waterfalls. We found this on the Komoot app which id recommended. Watkins path for Snowdon hike was about a 25 min drive, which took us through Beddgelert which is a nice village to stop off at. Also about 20 mins from Harlech beach which is stunning! Had a fantastic holiday, would recommend the house as a base for exploring the area and so lovely to come back to the hot tub in the evening.
The entrance to Preswylfa is framed by lush green ivy, creating a natural aesthetic. The front door is open, revealing a glimpse of the interior. Two windows on either side allow for natural light to brighten the entrance area.

The image captures a scenic view from the property, showcasing lush green fields and distant hills. A stone wall runs along the side, while a lantern is positioned near the window frame, adding a rustic touch to the landscape filled with natural beauty.

Little Cott - Cosy Welsh Cottage, Peaceful Village

RichardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The cottage is very well equipped and everything worked well. Good heating and hot water system. Very comfortable rooms. Very quiet, friendly neighbours. Good parking. It's very well situated for exploring Snowdonia and the nearby coastline. Very pleasant, quiet village. All in all, just right for our (my daughter and I) 5 night stay. Communications with Eleanor and David were very good.
A multi-fuel stove is showcased, flames flickering warmly inside the glass front. Nearby, a woven basket is filled with logs, and a candle is softly lit on the stone floor, creating a cozy ambiance in the space.

Bwthyn Carrog

We loved the rural location of the cottage. It was perfect for our weekend getaway. Betws-y-Coed was just a short drive away and we also found a lovely little pub not too far away. We had everything we needed for our stay, the weather was typically Welsh so we enjoyed the Netflix and cooking facilities. The bed was huge and so comfy. No issues parking a stones throw from the cottage. Only negative is the garden furniture needs replacing as completely damaged but we didn't really have 'sitting out' weather.

A wall-mounted plaque commemorates John Cowper Powys, an author and poet, who lived from 1872 to 1963. The inscription states he spent the last nine years of his life with Phyllis Playter, his companion for over forty years. The plaque is affixed to a stone wall.
