Apartment vacation rentals in Panormos in Rethymno

This was one of the nicest AirBnB apartments I have rented. What was responsive to questions prior to the trip, arranging taxi service from the airport. Even though our flight was two hours late and we didn't arrive until 10 pm she was there to greet us and show us the apartment. Her restaurant recommendations were outstanding. Finally, the location on the outskirts of Old Town Rethymno could not have been better. I enthusiastically recommend this place!

Our stay was amazing! The apartment was beautiful, clean, well-equipped and above all… the jacuzzi was a real plus! perfect for relaxing after a day of discovery in Crete. A huge thank you to our host, who was exceptionally kind. Always available, responsive and willing to help anytime, which really made our stay even more enjoyable. I recommend it 100%🤩!

We loved walking down the steps and straight onto the beach for a swim each day. Such a wonderful location. Beautiful accommodation and very quiet area. Despite the landlords living directly above, you have privacy. Super helpful landlords! A rental car should definitely be available, as the accommodation is a bit remote - no chance on foot!

We fell in love with this apartment and Manos hospitality five years ago and came back 6 times since then. Already booked the next stay before we left. We loved our stay at the Alice Villa. Location is truly fantastic for shopping and loads of restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time at the villa when the weather wasn’t the greatest and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Marianna for the wonderful hospitality and the gifts. Have to mention the people we met in the restaurants and on the streets, soooo friendly. We were very sad to leave. Could’ve stayed a lot Longer. Book it, youll love it. Until next time.

We absolutely loved our time here! The listing description was spot on. No surprises as everything was exactly as described. The best part was 100% the beach! Its literally right in front of the apartment! Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves every night was so nice. Agia Pelagia itself is ideal for a relaxed vacation. The beach is peaceful, very clean, and has a great mix of sandy spots for lounging. There’s also a solid variety of restaurants nearby, plus plenty of supermarkets and souvenir shops just a short walk away. Everything you need is within walking distance. I came here with my best friend and we had the most amazing time. We’re already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful seaside getaway!

Gorgeous hotel right in the old town. The room was really big and well decorated, with a nice little balcony. All very newly done and very clean. Breakfast was tasty as well. Would love to stay again. Only issue we had was the aircon, as the room was large the aircon did not do anything to cool it down which made it hard to sleep. Would rather have had a fan.

A big thank you to Giannis for hosting us, for his kindness and responsiveness. The listing was as described as well as the photos. The environment was very very quiet, beautiful and peaceful. The bedding is extremely comfortable. Everything was perfect, thank you again for everything. I recommend it 100% without so much as a second thought!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! It was walkable to the downtown area and harbour, but also quiet at night and not too busy. It was an easy ride from the airport and the location is also very close to the highway so it’s easy to head to the beach or other towns! Also good local bakeries and gyros in the area! :)

Very friendly host, clean apartment, everything necessary is available in the kitchen. The apartment has air conditioning and is at the entrance of the town, great if you want to be on the bus quickly. Next to the apartment door, there is a small supermarket and rental car shop. Beach not far away. Bali is a very quiet beautiful yet touristy place. From the apartment to the last bay, you walk half an hour totally OK! Gladly again :-)

We highly recommend the property. It is clean and well looked after. The location is great within easy walking distance of the centre of the City and all it offers. It is also on one of the main routes round the City which means if you have a car you do not have to deal with narrow, city centre roads. We hired a car and parked in the car part next to the apartment which was really convenient and reasonably priced. The down side to the location is that there is a lot of traffic noise when sitting on the balcony but that is to be expected. Once you shut the doors it is very quiet inside. There is a quiet air-conditioning unit in the bedroom which was great given we had some unseasonably high temperatures while we were there. Manos & Klelia where great at responding to any questions we had, If we were to Heraklion we who try and stay there again.

Very good location and very helpful host , will highly recommend. Walking distance to the beach, a lot of restaurants and super markets around.

**Great stay in Rethymno** Stayed here for 11 days and found the apartment clean and fairly well-maintained. Though it's on a main road, the double-paned windows and doors do an excellent job blocking noise. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The location works well - easy access to the beach and nice sunrise views over the city. Rethymno's position makes it convenient for day trips around Crete, whether heading east, west, or south to the smaller coastal towns. Clean, comfortable, and well-located for exploring the island. Would stay again.

The apartment was really central, everything very easily walkable. It's also close to both the airport and the port, so the location was ideal. The apartment itself was clean and exactly like the pictures, so we had a lovely stay!

Delighted with our stay! We were hosted very well, with sweet and savory specialties on the table! Sodas and fruit in the fridge. Nothing was missing. A beautiful park with olive trees, orange trees….. with a view of the sea in the distance. A great restaurant right across the street. Very good location for visiting the surroundings. Just plan to use a vehicle for shopping. Recommended

great place, great for a relaxing weekend. not close enough to the beach to walk, but it is easy and fairly cheap to get a taxi. we went during the off season, but it was still plenty warm and enjoyable

Chrysa is a very friendly and helpful host. She answered all our questions very fast. The apartment was very clean and just like in the pictures. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Although we booked for 3 people and it was only prepared for 2, the host was very quick and helpful in solving the problem! Very good room and conditions :)

Evangelos has a beautiful home. Exactly as described and very modern. The whirl pool was a highlight and of course the beautiful view from the terrace. The village of Sellia is very peaceful and close to many beaches. It has a small supermarket and great local restaurants. Yangos was especially a very good host. Had lots of local places for restaurants to recommend and also great recommendations for beaches. He was very responsive throughout our trip and had great communication. We were very happy with our stay overall and would like to stay here again someday!

Elena is a nice and accommodating hostess. We were able to contact her at any time, received feedback very quickly and she inquired about our well-being in the accommodation. The place is very clean, well equipped and you have your privacy. It looks exactly like the pictures. The property is very quiet. You need a car to do activities. We can only recommend the place and Elena as a host! ☺️

The space was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. We especially loved the large deck—perfect for enjoying morning coffee or dining outdoors. The location is great, with a wonderful bakery and market just a short walk away. You’ll need a car to explore the town and surrounding area, but everything is within a short, easy drive. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, sharing great tips and insights about the area. They also took the time to share aspects of the local culture, which made our stay feel even more special. We were lucky to be in Rethymno over Easter—it was an unforgettable experience!

Fabulous Manolis and his family were wonderful, they were incredibly kind when meeting us upon arrival and very helpful throughout our stay - always responding to queries quickly and offering useful advice about the local area. The apartment is in a great location being a short walk from the sea, shops and the old town. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, with the fort to the east and coastline to the west. The apartment was clean and well stocked offering all we needed for a week long holiday.
