Las instalaciones están en perfecto estado, la limpieza impecable, el staff que nos atendió fueron muy cordiales, la vista espectacular, en pocas palabras un lugar maravilloso para poder descansar y pasar un lindo fin de semana en familia, gracias Silvia por todo, eres genial como anfitriona y por supuesto que regresamos.

Beautiful view of the lake and volcanos! A bit of a hike but so worth it. The pool and hammocks were great my kids enjoyed themselves everyday of our stay here. Diego and Claudia were more than helpful and responded quickly to any questions.

Great place very peaceful and secluded if you’re looking to disconnect. Beautiful surroundings with games and watercraft’s for our entertainment! Don Manuel was very helpful and everyone in town was very friendly and helpful also. We had a great stay and great time. Just be ready for very steep terrain 4x4 recommended for peace of mind, but doable in a 2 wheel drive

Muy bonito el lugar, las fotos no le hacen justicia… pasamos un buen momento como familia, el servicio estuvo bueno, las instalaciones bien cuidadas, limpias, tranquilas y disfrutas de la naturaleza… Pd. vale la pena pagar por la climatización de la piscina

Everyone was so helpful on the property. Israel especially. He went out to get us pizza one night, coffee, etc. and was a huge help in case there was ever a need. The hike up was intense, so make sure you're prepared for that, but I promise when you reach the top it is soooo worth it. The views were stunning. We had a great time here.

I will be saving this place for the next time I come to visit! Everything is close by, all within walking distance. The house was everything that we needed , like paradise. ❤️

Great stay. Two families each with two kids and plenty of beds and space for kids to run around. We hired a local chef, Juan Carlos, to cook dinners, which really turned the trip into a vacation. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, etc within 5 min walk. Mariano, caretaker, met us at dock to help carry luggage to the house. Temescal was very relaxing at night and we loved hearing the birds and wildlife scurry around. We had some cloudy weather so pool/jacuzzi wasn't warm, but we cant change the weather! 100% recommend.

This is a beautiful, truly special place. The bungalow is lovingly crafted and very comfortable, with wonderful natural light in the bedroom. Stuart and his family are caring, generous, and discreet hosts who provide everything needed for a cozy stay. The lake and volcano view through the trees manages to feel both intimate and breathtaking. Manchado the little cat won my heart and was a delightful companion during my month-long stay. For those with sensory sensitivities, you'll encounter occasional smoke from nearby fires and graywater scents from a neighboring stream. As Stuart notes, the surrounding area includes a lively school, barking dogs, and 'bombas' - all authentic elements that create the genuine village atmosphere here. Like your own treehouse on the hillside, this is a really lovely accommodation with gracious hosts in one of Lake Atitlan's most authentic villages.

Byron was very helpful and responsive throughout the trip when trying to locate the Airbnb and neighboring locations. Definitely review his guidebook because it is most accurate. The home was beautiful and Byron was awesome.

I stayed at Luzmi’s cozy cabin for six nights, and it was the perfect place to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with myself. As someone used to city life, it took me a night to adjust to the rustic, peaceful setting—but once I settled in, I didn’t want to leave. When I first arrived, I had some trouble opening the door, and Luzmi was incredibly gracious. She didn’t just help me in—she gave me a thoughtful, nearly hour-long tour of the space and its surroundings. It’s clear she puts a lot of love and care into maintaining the property, and it really shows. She’s an amazing host, and I couldn’t have asked for more. The boats are easy to flag down from the dock, and there’s nothing like starting the day with a morning swim, followed by a hike or a quick boat ride to San Marcos for breakfast. I’ll definitely miss my time at the cabin—and I already know I’ll be staying there again the next time I return to Lake Atitlán.

We had a wonderful stay at Carlos' beautiful property. Carlos was extremely attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed in the home, along with recommendations for San Marcos and the surrounding towns. The property itself is immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed, and located just a short walk from town, with a stunning view over the lake. The place was quiet and cozy, and stocked with everything we could have needed. We really loved our time in San Marcos, and Carlos' home was a major factor. I'm sure we'll be back in the near future!

Un hermoso lugar para disfrutar del lago. Fiona respondió siempre con mucha amabilidad. Tomar en cuenta que son muchas gradas para llegar a la casita desde la carretera pero vale la pena.

This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. I’ve traveled to a lot of Airbnb’s in many different countries and none compare to this. Finding this place is surely an adventure but once you are there, you don’t want to leave! I can’t say enough good things about the chefs that will cook you every meal. We had them do all the shopping for our meals along with other items we wanted such as water and beer. The housekeeper services that help coordinate private boat rides to other villages, keeping the place clean, or even small things such as turning on the hot tub while we are away are truly incredible perks of this place. The property and views are just amazing and I can’t wait to come back here for my next stay!

Wow! The pictures don’t do the place justice. Our group which included 4 couples, really enjoyed the place. We all had our separate rooms/bathrooms, and plenty of space for gatherings. Communication with host was great, was able to arrange private chef, and massages. Jorge, which is the property manager was a gem. He was able to arrange all of our transportation needs. We had no issues. Overall, amazing home, would definitely recommend.
