The hotel is located in a beautiful location, the room is clean, it was possible to take a heater. There is a shared kitchen downstairs where you can heat up food and make tea.

Walkable to Coimbra center and restaurants, however, be prepaired to climb hills. The bakery across the street was excellent, and we got to know the people in the mini-market and tavern across the street - very friendly.

Lina was very responsive and helpful. The views from the apartment were stunning. We loved our stay.

We spent amazing days in this house and took memories with us that will last forever. The space is cozy, surrounded by nature on all sides, perfect for those who need to disconnect from the world and simply breathe. The house has everything you need to feel at home, but what makes this place really special is the energy you feel there: peace, quiet and a strong connection with the earth. We went with our dogs and it was wonderful to see them happy, free and in contact with nature. Every detail of the house shows care and affection. It's one of those places where time slows down and the heart is grateful. Thank you for providing this little corner of serenity. We'll be back for sure.

If you're looking for a place that's a bit off the beaten path, this is the airbnb for you. This renovated farmhouse is very peaceful and idyllic. Our host provided plenty of food for continental breakfasts each day, which was much appreciated, as were the fresh eggs, lemons off the trees on her property, and homemade jams. Recommended.

The clean and cozy house with warmth in every room, which makes it a pleasant environment. Calm place, ideal for a family vacation. Super responsive and attentive host who let us check out later so we could have a peaceful Easter lunch. We were lucky to wake up, open the window and watch the snow fall! All wonderful! We had a wonderful weekend at this home in Dornes. It has a crazy charm, faithful in every way to the listing. Located at the edge of a peaceful river that almost looks like a lake, the scenery is simply beautiful and soothing. The house was perfectly suited to our group, comfortable and very well equipped. Claudio, our host, was very responsive and exceptionally available, which really made our stay easier. The village of Dornes is also full of charm. In short, a real little piece of paradise that we recommend without a second thought!

One of the most beautiful properties we have stayed at anywhere in the world. Incredible views and so peaceful that you may not want to leave the property. Our family of 5 paddleboarded on the river and spent a lot of time in the huge pool. We walked with the goats and chickens and had several meaningful exchanges with Peter, who is a special guy and has a lot of insight on the area and it's history. There are pre-Roman and Roman era stone structures and ruins scattered around and loads of wildlife. The place itself was charming and very comfortable and had everything we needed for an amazing stay.

Wonderful, restored (now modern with nice furnishings) mill house. Very charming with lovely outdoor sitting areas and garden. Nice living room overlooking the river. Good location for visiting Coimbra and the schist villages and for doing nice hikes in the hills. Nice to have four mountain bikes to explore on. David was very responsive and provided good local recommendations.

Beautiful studio in a great location of Coimbra. Had an issue with the lock on the door and the elevators in the building but were able to figure it out. Eduardo provided good instructions for how to get into the building. It's a great choice for a stay in Coimbra and looks just like the pictures.

“Elsa is a caring, kind and sweet person!” With this initial expression, we summed up our sentiment about our esteemed Host! As feedback to new guests, in summary, we can say that it is an excellent option, in the “cost x benefits” ratio! The room is in accordance with the announced photos and amenities. The site is very nice and is located a few meters from Rua Ferreira Borges, that is, new guests should consider the fact that they will be in the heart of the Historic Centre of Coimbra. The set of opportunities to live together and get to know, will make us return to Coimbra and, of course, again we will be staying with our dear Host Elsa. We present our thanks to the Host!
