Située dans les méandres de la rivière Zêzere, classée Géoparc par l'Unesco; à seulement 10 mn de la N2 et de l'IC8 et du Barrage de Cabril.

The village of Sobral de Baixo, nearby (4 km) has 2 bars and a grocery store with regional products (honey, olive oil, wine...)
