Vacation rentals with beach access in Pampilhosa da Serra

Very nice place, taken care of and with a fairly large pool. Hosts are very thoughtful and friendly. The place is quite well located for those who come by car and intend to visit the river beaches of the area. There are no large supermarkets in the locality, so you should keep in mind that shopping should all be done at once. For a 6-person space, the refrigerator is quite reduced. However, we had a great stay and recommend this accommodation for rural vacations.

Our stay at Joel was great, the view and place didn’t disappoint. It has an authentic Portuguese feel, we even met some lovely people in the village. Joel was accommodating and let us come with our pets and agreed to extend our stay when we requested. He was responsive and helpful, shared local tips and his apartment missed nothing. You need to be open minded for the parking as it’s a small village but we worked it out.

This was likely the best experience we’ve ever had on Airbnb! The home exceeded all expectations—beautifully presented, incredibly comfortable, and even better than described. The location was perfect, and it had every amenity we could possibly need. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. We’re so grateful—thank you! The house had everything we needed for a good stay, we stayed for 7 days, the José Host, always very attentive, left in the house several tourist routes from the region, tips of restaurants, museums, trails, etc., also left a welcome treat. It was a quiet stay, the neighborhood is very friendly and receptive, the village has easy access to other cities in the region, including the Serra da Estrela. We recommend ourselves, especially to hiking lovers.

We had a wonderful weekend at this home in Dornes. It has a crazy charm, faithful in every way to the listing. Located at the edge of a peaceful river that almost looks like a lake, the scenery is simply beautiful and soothing. The house was perfectly suited to our group, comfortable and very well equipped. Claudio, our host, was very responsive and exceptionally available, which really made our stay easier. The village of Dornes is also full of charm. In short, a real little piece of paradise that we recommend without a second thought!
