Beachfront vacation rentals in Palheiros da Tocha

Our stay was great! Clean, organized environment, everything very complete! Close to the beach and restaurants and bars. The only drawback was the access, it is on the 2nd floor, steep stairs that were not mentioned. As we were with elderly people and heavy suitcases, it was a bit difficult. But despite that, it was really worth it!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Bruno’s apartment! Communication was seamless — Bruno was responsive, friendly, and made everything easy. The apartment was spotlessly clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up. The location is perfect: quiet, central, and close to everything you might need. Just a heads-up for fellow travelers: the beds are closer in size to what would be considered a “twin” in North America. They're a bit tight for two adults, especially if you're on the taller or broader side. Thankfully, there were two bedrooms with separate beds, which worked great for us. The shower is also on the smaller side, so if you're over 1.80 m (around 5’11”), it might feel a bit snug — though that’s more about our size than the apartment itself. All in all, it was a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again. Thanks so much, Bruno!

We arrived and in felt like home. My daughter's loved the special cake that Marta left for us upon arrival. The house is well equipped with everything you need and more. The bathtub was a favorite, and the balcony was a wonderful place to relax and people watch. The beach is only steps away, along with places to grab a snack. We used the bikes for a fun ride and my daughter loved the game room area to read and do crafts. Something for everyone in a picture perfect location. The entire home was impeccable. Apartment 2 steps from the waterfront, bars, restaurants, not far from the funicular that drops you off on the heights of the north beach (surf). Ideally located rental. Of course we recommend this 2-level accommodation, 👍🏼

Sjoerd and Joana's house is everything you need to disconnect and feel right at home. Sjoerd and Joana have lent us their beautiful house where nothing is missing. The village of Quiaos and its beach is perfect for resting, walking along the beach and sitting in a beach bar to watch the sunset. From there we were able to make excursions to Porto, Aveiro or Coimbra. The highway connection is perfect. We'll never forget the dinners in the courtyard listening to the sea in the distance. Silence, rest, nature, beaches, tourism all in one place. Don't hesitate to choose this house for your next vacation. Thanks for sharing your home Sjoerd and Joana.

Just an incredible stay in a beautiful area. The apartment made is so easy to relax - whether you want to stay on the terrace and enjoy the sun and the views, or take a short walk into town and enjoy the offerings there. This is probably the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen in an Airbnb. There are two small stores just three blocks away for the basics (including wine, of course) and large grocery stores a 20 minute walk - or 5 minute drive away - for all other needs. Prompt, courteous and easy-to-follow communication from the owners. Will definitely return.

If you want to be near the fort this is the place for you. The views are amazing. This maybe one of the best places to watch the sunset. Everything is close and is walking distance. Shower had perfect pressure.

This spacious home is within walking distance of the Nazare waves (visited in January), offering views from both the beach and the lighthouse. It's conveniently located for day trips to Lisbon and charming nearby towns. The home is in a quiet area, features scenic views, and includes most essentials for cooking. Note that the beds are quite firm, so consider bringing a sleeping pad if you prefer softer support. The host was friendly and provided helpful information about the area and the property.

We highly recommend it! Nelson is very responsive and friendly. Perfect location 2 min walk to the beach (sea view). The apartment is even bigger than the pictures! Very well equipped and clean. The pool is great too. Only downside: maybe the lack of deckchair near the pool for sunbathing :) Thank you for the quality of the accommodation!

The apartment was spotless and fully equipped, it was not missing any details! One of the cleanest places I've ever been to. In addition, Lucia we leave variety of fruit, juice, milk, etc. for breakfast. It was a real luxury to stay in his apartment. Thank you so much! We will be back!!!

Everything was perfect. Beautiful spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms, sufficiently large balcony. A few minutes' walk to the beach, supermarket, restaurants and ideal for hiking into the green hinterland. Everything is fine, thanks to Nuno!

Pilar was very kind to our requests, she was ready to answer all questions and offer her help for anything. Her husband gave us a magnificent reception, he gave us a lot of information and recommendations. The apartment was just as it appeared in the photos, the terrace is much larger than we expected. The bed is very comfortable, and the house is very comfortable. The kitchen has all the basics. It is in a very central area, you can walk to many restaurants and leisure areas and to the coastal promenades in a few minutes.

The place was very well located. Very easy and fast to get to the beach, several restaurants on a walking distance, city center close by as well. Some stores and markets are available too. The apartment was very clean, and had some nice amenities as coffee capsules, sugar, some pasta and sauce (maybe left by other guests?), soap, detergent, hp (I only mention this because sometimes other places don't offer them). It had nice hot water dish and clothes washer, open space, bedrooms with a very good size. It was the kind of place that makes you think about moving to that region. Would go again for sure.

We had a brilliant time at Canto Do Zêzere - the house is really clean, spacious and comfortable, and the lakeside location is absolutely stunning. Boating on the lake was a highlight! We would definitely come back again.

We spent three glorious days in Nazare. Argentina's apartment is beautifully located, immaculately clean, well appointed, with a jaw dropping view of the ocean. We did not have a car, and completely happy to walk, explore, shop, and eat in the many significant places to experience. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay for any visitor who wants to immerse themselves in the culture of this gorgeous town.
