A sandy beach stretches along the coastline, leading to a wooden pathway that extends toward the water. Gentle waves lap at the shore under a clear blue sky dotted with soft clouds. Nearby hills frame the scene, and a few people enjoy the beach in the distance.

olive 27

Elia's Studios is a wonderful solution in a wonderful place. The apartment was nice, modern, comfortable and clean and so was the little residence it is set in, swimming pool included: the sort of place that soon feels home, and that you enjoy spending a little time in after a day at the sea side. The area is fascinating and full of opportunities: the restaurants around - the owners also run a restaurant- extremely good. My 12-years old son and I had a great time: the only thing that could be handled better are the indications to arrive as, prabably due to a translation issue from the Greek, the actual name of the resort doesn't match the airbnb one. However, that was quickly set through phone call.

Rosa 's house

PeterRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Everything was as described and shown on the pictures. We really felt like home. Rosa received us very well and even surprised us from time to time with delicious food. It felt a little bit like visiting relatives. The flat offered everything we needed and the fridge was already well equipped when we arrived. We traveled with our little girl (nearly two years old). There was a child crib prepared for her. If you have older kids, there's a separate bedroom existing with two additional beds. We booked the flat, because we wanted to visit Vai beach and Xerokampos (I want to highly recommend the beaches there). Palekastro is not a tourist highlight, but has some nice restaurants and is the perfect spot to explore the east of Crete.

Sea Breeze apartment

PeterRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The apartment is very spacious & modern and perfect for a family of 4 with a large living room & kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom. Sleeping room for the kids had 2 single beds, which perfectly matched our kids preferences. The location is quiet with a large terrace & a perfect view into olive trees, to the sea & Castri hill. It's very close to the main square of Palekastro, which is an unexpectedly vibrant centre for the region with excellent restaurants (all of them) and even a charming nightlife where you get integrated with the locals pretty fast and nobody goes to bed before 2 a.m. We've visited Siteia 2 times (1 for dinner and for for coffee) and afterwards all of us preferred to stay in the village. Andriani is a very nice & friendly host, who gave us support throughout our stay. We will not only recommend the apartment to our friends, but will choose it in one of our next stays in Palekastro. We will for sure come again!

Mandarini House

QRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed end of April for over two weeks and absolutely loved our stay. Our welcome to Mandarini house by Venetia and Michalis was so thoughtful and considerate… many kind touches - homemade Easter treats, jam etc and enough in the fridge and cupboards to tide us over for a few days. The house is a fantastic base to explore Eastern Crete. It is comfortable, homely, practical, and the village is lovely and friendly. We had daily hikes, often from the village, there’s lots to see and do. We highly recommend Mandarini and we’re blown away by the pristine beauty of this special part of Crete 😎😎
The bathroom features a modern design with a square vessel sink placed atop a simple countertop. A large mirror is mounted above with soft lighting, and flowers add a touch of color. A wall-mounted toilet complements the sleek aesthetic, while a waste bin is positioned nearby.

POLIDOROS HOUSE

ClaireRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Fantastic stay at Polidoros' house. Two minutes walk from the centre of the town with cafes, shops etc and very close to several beautiful beaches and lots of ancient remains too. The house was both elegant and comfortable. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We would highly recommend it. We also had a lovely meal at Polidoros's restaurant in town.
