One reaches the houses in 10-15 minutes walk (and stairs) from the port depending on each person's pace. Hydra is amphitheatricaly built and there are a lot of cobble stone stairs around town and leading up to the house so ...not for everyone! new mandatory government fee has been introduced: the “Climate Crisis Resilience Fee”, amountingto €8 per night for short-term accommodations

Frantzeskos House

Our house is a traditional, sunny house with two internal courtyards. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It is only ten minutes from the port of Hydra and is fully equipped. Four meters from the house there is a small grocery store that operates on Sundays. There are easy access to sandy beaches (Kamini, Avlaki, Mandraki) and to beaches with rocks (Spilia). The transfer of baggage upon arrival and departure will be done by us.

Easy to find, right near the port so if you have a lot of luggage, it’s a very easy walk from the ferry. Close by to a bunch of great bars and restaurants (have a meal at Ostria!). Vicky was very responsive and helpful. A great location for one or two people.

We had the best time! The apartment was so lovely, with beautiful photos of hydra and nice touches, as well as modern updates to the bathroom, kitchen, etc. Yiannis is an exceptional and amazing host! He met us to walk us to the place and get settled, gave us lots of recommendations, and even called and texted when the power went out for whole island to give us an update and check in. Oh and fresh bread in the morning! Such a beautiful stay, can't wait to get back

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful place. It was even better than described, charming, spacious, clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we could need for a wonderful holiday. The hosts also provided a generous supply of initial food provisions. The views were exceptional, and we loved the convenience of being just a one-minute walk from the water for a swim. We had a wonderful stay at Dioni’s beautiful house. The setting and view were absolutely stunning, and the location was perfect — peaceful and quiet. From the moment we arrived, Dioni made us feel extremely welcome. She was so generous with her time and even surprised us with thoughtful gifts, which made our stay even more special. She was always happy to answer any questions we had and gave us great local tips. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or a more beautiful place to stay. Highly recommend!

Apartment at Neorion Beach 10m from the sea!

Niki's place was amazing, the beach was right across the street and there was also a beach bar with friendly staff and free sunbeds (as long as you bought something from the bar or their restaurant). There were also other beaches nearby, but we didn't feel the need to explore them that much since the one near the house was so convenient. The taxis to Poros and back were very accessible, responsive and prompt - they always came in max 10 minutes and each trip was max 9 euros (from the port to the house it's 5 if you don't have any luggage, 0.5 euros more for each luggage), 2 more euros if you ask them to pick you up at from the house to the Port. In the center of Poros we could find everything we wanted (cafes, restaurants, food markets, places to visit, souvenirs shops). As for Niki's house, everything was great and cozy, the beds were very comfortable, same goes for the living couch. The ACs did good work. We also cooked a bit in the morning. 100% would recommend to others.

A cozy bedroom features a spacious bed with white linens and decorative pillows arranged neatly. A soft quilt is placed at the foot of the bed. The stone wall provides character, while a bedside table with a lamp adds a warm touch to the space.

Had a great stay at Gerasimos’ place! He had great communication before the stay, and met me near the port so he could walk me to the unit. The flat had everything I needed, including bottled water, an equipped kitchen, and a bottle of wine! He even left some homemade traditional treats which were delicious! Bed was very comfortable. Nice patio area to sit out at and very walkable to the port, restaurants, shops, and beaches / beach bars. Would definitely recommend this spot! Thanks for a great stay Gerasimos!
