Vacation rentals with a patio in Paiva River

Excellent property in a prime location. Easy access to all major sites within walking distance, and a very convenient parking lot right next door. We have stayed in several different apartments in Porto, but this one felt like a much more authentic experience and not a cookie cutter remodel like many other listings. Highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting Porto.

The accommodation is as described: it is functional and well-equipped. Very well located, close to the metro that takes you to the city center in less than 5 minutes. It's also close to many shops, which is very convenient. Hosts were very available and responsive throughout the stay. Recommended!

This place is beautiful! Right in the heart of the older part of town (where you want to be). It’s walkable to almost everything! And the hosts were incredibly helpful. I even called them at one point because I couldn’t find parking- and they guided me to safe affordable parking for the duration of our stay. Fantastic. One of the best places we stayed while in Portugal. The views were amazing. Exactly what we needed before we left Portugal. Thank you again!

Awesome hosts - super accommodating

Pedro’s place is absolutely stunning – the interior is beautiful, the location was ideal, and the roof terrace really made our trip feel special 🤍 The only downside was the check-in experience. Even though we were told check-in was from 3pm, and I let Pedro know multiple times that we’d be arriving around 6, we didn’t get there until 7 after a long and tiring travel day – only to be greeted on opening the door by one of the owners and a workman who were still in the apartment finishing up some work. They told us they’d been there since 5pm and weren’t sure when we were arriving so decided to go ahead anyway, which felt frustrating.. and awkward after the journey. They stayed for another hour after our arrival, which wasn’t ideal when all we wanted to do was relax. That aside, once we properly settled in, we loved our stay – really felt like home:) the space and location really are amazing & the free storage for our bags after checkout was so so helpful & a lovely touch <3 thanks

Fabio's place is recently renovated (as of June 2025) and a beautiful space. We did not cook but the kitchen appeared well-stocked. Space was spotlessly clean. The shower was hot and with good pressure. The apartment is centrally located in walking distance from all the main attractions. It is probably a 25-30 minute walk to the other side of the river and the Port Wine cellars, but that is the furthest point from the apartment that we needed to go. There are lots of restaurants right around the apartment within a 5 minute walk. The Clerigos tower is 10 minutes by foot. The main cathedral is about 20 minutes by foot. Among the restaurants, we really enjoyed Mare by Meia-Nau. It just recently opened and has a good (albeit minimal) seafood menu. The "Arroz de Marisco" was excellent. We arrived by train at the Porto-Campanha station. It is a 15 minutes cab ride from there to the apartment. Fabio was a great host (fast clear responses) and accommodated our late checkout.

Chic and very clean apartment above the rooftops of Porto. Great small balcony with seating and table to comfortably have breakfast or drink a glass of wine in the evening.

We enjoyed our stay. A spacious house, everything you need is present, clean and nice private pool, Arcilio is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommended!!!

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. Wonderful stay, weekend with friends in a very spacious, clean and very well decorated house. The outdoor space is also amazing, the pool is a very reasonable size and has a very beautiful view. They were very friendly and helpful throughout the process, definitely to be repeated!!

This home is absolutely beautiful, we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everything we could possibly need was there, from a fully equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches throughout the house and garden. It was spotless, and we especially appreciated the fresh citrus and eggs from the birds next to the property waiting for us. Carolina and her husband are exceptional hosts, warm, generous, and incredibly helpful. All their recommendations were perfect. Do note that a car is essential, and confident driving is a must in the area. The game room with the pool table was a great bonus, especially on rainy days. The nature, the views, and the garden were all stunning. Our only regret was not staying longer.

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

Ricardo has been responsive since the original booking months ago. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, apartment was quiet. He met us there to give the instructions in person and was quick to respond for any needs. This place is highly recommended!

If I come back to Porto, I will definitely find this place again. I was really comfortable during the 5 days I stayed, and I was happy like it was my own home. The host is friendly, the guidelines are clear, and the bedding is white and very clean. It was the cleanest of all the Airbnb accommodations I've been to, and the bathroom condition was the best. I want to recommend it to everyone to the point that I want to upload it to my blog. Oh, by the way, it was so nice that the host was Korean.👍🏻

Ludo and Park were truly exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. They went above and beyond by sharing fantastic local recommendations and insider tips, which really enriched our trip. The space itself was spotless, bright, and wonderfully spacious. Having our own private pool was an absolute treat, especially during the hot weather. The location couldn’t be better: everything is within walking distance, and public transport is a breeze to use. An amazing place to stay! The flat was lovely and clean, shower was nice and big and the bed was super comfy. Made the most of it being a ground floor flat by sunbathing just outside the little patio area and walking straight to the pool for a dip. Also a great location to walk into town for either the beach, shops or restaurants. Not too far to walk to the supermarket for food either. Adelina was always super quick to reply to messages, and was exceptionally friendly and helpful anytime we did message. Cannot recommend enough!!

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

Joao was a super great host, very helpful and very flexible on check in which he met us personally to give us a walk through of everything. Very responsive and the place was perfect with a little garden to have coffee in the morning. Great location and enough provisions for our short stay. Highly recommend!

Excellent location and comfortable apartment - we stayed 3 nights, and it is within walking distance of many sights and restaurants, but remarkably quiet given where it is. A small balcony overlooks an interior courtyard. There is a coffee machine/electric kettle for tea, and a laundromat around the corner. Highly recommend.

The apartment was fantastic! Super comfort, quiet, with air conditioning for hot days! The city center is within walking distance, you can get to Ribeirinha super fast! Porto is simply a great city! Thank you, Nuno! We felt very comfortable with you! 🤩
