A two-story wooden villa tucked away behind a bamboo fence — the front yard has a stone pond and a firepit built with round stones. In the evening, you can light a fire to roast pork or chicken. The open-plan kitchen has red industrial-style light fixtures, a bright red Haier refrigerator, and a high bar counter for sitting and chatting over a beer — we didn't do this to make it look good; we just wanted you and your friends to have a place where you could really sit for a long time.
