Downtown Long Beach Contemporary - Walk to it all!

SharleenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a great experience staying in Rachel's home! We were so lucky it was available. The house and furnishings are clean and comfortable-like it's a new home. The layout is open and super functional so you can talk easily, whether in the kitchen, sitting at the countertop "bar," dining table, or in the living room. We enjoyed the electric fireplace, coffee set up, games, tasteful, beachy decor, spacious bedrooms (with TVs) and nice bathrooms. We opted to stay "home" and play games instead of going out for a nighttime Jeep run we liked the house and hanging out in it so much. The ideal location of Rachel's home has a surprising balance of access to so much while feeling private when the blinds are drawn. It was nice to park multiple cars in the driveway off the main street. While perfect for 3 women, I hope Rachel will have me back with my adult family. She supplies the house with everything you need for many guest "combinations" of family and friends! Thank you, Rachel for hosting us!

Quiet retreat, 3 min walk to beach, dog friendly

Perfect little getaway. The bed pillows and linens were divine. The walk to the beach was shorter than i imagined. Safe cozy little space. Everything we needed was there. The coffee was a nice touch for morning sips on the deck.

The River House - dramatic views and long sunsets

YaelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It is easy to understand why Peter and Kezha's home is a guest favorite! While the house is not new, the experience the hosts have created is luxurious. The kitchen is an experienced cook's dream, the dining space delightfully romantic, the upper level blissful to whichever couple scores it, and all of these spaces are set to stunning views of the Columbia River with its wild life and shipping lanes. The house is secluded, and yet right in the heart of any adventure one could possibly want to have in this area. My wife and I along with our two canines walked to beaches, the nature reserve, and along the sloughs. We were kept thoroughly entertained by the variety of birds visible through the windows, and enhanced by the binoculars thoughtfully provided on the various window sills. We were there for a long weekend, and each day stretched out with a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. As my wife said, "this is our new favorite place!"

The Octopus's Garden

PattyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Just back from a weeklong trip at our favorite place to stay in Long Beach. Octopus's Garden has it all - giant fully fenced backyard for the dogs (with an outdoor warm water dog wash station), outdoor eating and BBQ space and firepit, great kitchen set up, super comfy beds, cozy living room couches (with fleece blankets for curling up in front of the fire), spacious dining room and a block from the beach. My son was able to work remotely, and we were able to walk (or drive) down to the beach to go clam digging almost every day. There is an outdoor clam cleaning sink that made cleaning all those clams so much easier. The whole house was super clean and well organized. Our hosts quickly responded to questions. We have stayed at this great place a few times before and will certainly do so again.

Captains Quarters Inn

MattRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lovely and spacious home filled with fantastic amenities perfect for two families (grand parents, kids, and a baby). The kitchen was nicely stocked and the living room was a great hang out place. About 5 minutes to a park and walk (about 60 seconds) beach or a drive on beach with AWD/4WD. Westport 15 minutes away with stores, shops, and restaurants, but loved the "country living" feel. Can't wait to go back again.

Cranberry Coast Gambrel Home, Sleeps 10 and 2.5 ba

JasonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a wonderful house if you have a big family, it’s very spacious, open concept, clean and the yards big enough to play in with your kids or just sit out back by the fire pit. There’s everything from pots and pans, utensils, to washer and dryer with detergent and cleaning supplies. Youll feel right at home in Scott’s home. 2 minutes from the beach and local store. And if you’re a gambler it’s minutes away from a casino. You wont be disappointed here

#309 Historic Coast Guard Station (Keeper's Qtrs.)

HillaryRating, 5 stars8 months ago
A very peaceful and family friendly place to call home for a few days. The unit was beautiful, very cozy and within walking distance to the beach. Our kids were very excited about all of the toys and movies, especially the Barbies and old Disney VCR tapes. Our host June was the best! She is super friendly, responds quickly, and had great recommendations within the local area. We felt so welcomed and we will be back for sure!

Classic WUB Ocean front in the heart of Long Beach

KathleenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was a wonderful stop on our trip from Newport Oregon to Anacortes. We prefer to cook our dinners and the kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of storage for the foodstuffs we brought with us. The living room was very comfortable and the selection of books and cookbooks was incredible. The king size bed was a happy surprise and it was comfortable, with plenty of storage for our clothes in the bedroom. I must mention the lovely and helpful Ms. Janet and thank her for not only supplying us with a few items we felt were missing from the kitchen but also for great conversation. Long Beach is a delightful destination and a short trip to Astoria and the wonderful Columbia River Maritime Museum and Fort Columbia. In Long Beach, don’t skip the Kite Museum and Marsh’s Free Museum for outrageous exhibits. So plan to stay awhile and ask for unit 1 when you reserve with Paula. You won’t regret it.

Very clean, it felt like it was a brand-new property. Very well decorated, had all the amenities in the kitchen needed. Having this property close to the strip and a block from the arch, we walked everything! Great restaurants within minutes and knowing we would go back to our clean bathroom was great for the lady. Would defiantly stay here again! Thanks for being a great host and hostess. Mike and Nikki

North Cove WA On a Whim Extended Stays welcome

AnnaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jaenette was awesome. SO much helpful info of things to do that matched what we like. Very responsive to messages. While the neighborhood is a bit humble, the rental is minutes away from several parks, the beach, a short drive to Westport Marina (which has several different tasty food spots and fun shops), various restaurants (Local Bar & Grill's rockfish, bacon burger, tator tots & BLT were very tasty!) and some shops for finds (Castaways Cottage has lots of super cute finds, new and old). The rental is older but Jaenette had it clean & stocked with everything needed including super soft and fluffy towels and the bed was comfy.

Amazing Views, In Town, Fast Wifi (Waves)

JanelleRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
10/10 ⭐️ Peaceful getaway! Everything was as described. The view is unmatched, not only of the beach but the greenery, the birds, the deer and the ducks!! Oh and lots of kite flying on the beach made for a cool show. I came here, solo, to have a change of scenery while writing my book and felt very safe. It is close to everything that you need but you also don’t have to leave because you have all the necessities right there for you. I didn’t hear any surrounding neighbors. The bed is extremely comfortable! I used the binoculars quite a bit too for extra close sight seeing ◡̈ No complaints. I would love to book again! Thank you Robbie & Team!!
