this was our second stay at hurst cottage and was just as good as the first!. lovely cottage with beautiful gardens, hot tub was lovely and everywhere was spotlessly clean. linnett was very responsive to any queries we had. would highly recommend.

Me and my girlfriend had such an amazing time at this place. We’ve had something similar in the past but this one takes the cake. Very private and has an amazing view. Close to the road so sometimes you’ll hear people walking past and cars. But at night you can sit in the hot tub and enjoy looking at the stars. In our case we saw a shooting star while sat in the hot tub. I would 100% suggest this to friends and come again.!!!! Thank you

Great location and a very helpful host.

Caroline's place was lovely, a peaceful break in the countryside! A reasonable distance from some of the attractions of the Peak District, including the Tissington Trail and Thor's Cave. The village was quaint and we had a lovely meal in the local pub, The Sycamore (recommended by Caroline). The only downside was the typical British summer weather raining down on us - wish us better luck next time!

Beautiful place, would definitely stay again if in the area! Spotless and a hot tub is always a bonus!

Wood Cottage is absolutely beautiful. The house is well equipped and perfectly maintained. The setting is extraordinary with beautiful gardens with plenty of privacy and peace. Thanks to Samantha and Andy’s instructions it’s also easy to find, whereas the post code is a little more difficult. Their communication was proactive and timely, but not at all intrusive. The sauna, plunge pool and hot tub are a real treat, although the hot tub is a little temperamental in that we struggled to get some of the jets to work. However, given that is the only room for improvement we could identify on the accommodation, it’s clear that a stay at Wood Cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to return!

A lovely cottage in a beautiful party of the country. Well-located for local amenities with village shops and pubs on the doorstep. A nicely maintained little place too - we found it exactly as described.

We had a fantastic long weekend staying in Nicola’s lovely period cottage, set in a quiet but continently close to town part of Belper, with everything we needed on the doorstep. The cottage has beautiful period features and was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfy so we slept well. We really enjoyed our stay and the cottage made an excellent base whilst we explored the surrounding areas including the stunning Peak District. Thanks for having us!

It was so relaxing to be beside the Canal watching the narrow boats go by. We loved the ducks that came our door. We fed them potatoes as bread is bad for them.The tow path was great for walking. Pubs adjacent to property....we had a lovely time! Nice place.

I had the best stay with my three dogs and Lizzie and her family couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful! We will definitely be back xx

Just got back from a few days at The Gatehouse (or Fred's Shed). It was a wonderful place made so much more so by John and Pam. I arrived and was greeted by John who showed me round, imparted a huge amount of really helpful local knowledge and assured me that help was just a door knock away if needed. Pam had left a mountain of goodies to ensure I didn't go hungry, catering for my four legged friend as well. We were out walking the hills every day and this was a lovely bolthole to return to. being a stone cottage it remains cool even when temperatures outside rocket. John recommended a variety of local walks, pubs, and tea rooms. We tried the one in the village and had a wonderful meal. Sure The Gatehouse is not a mansion, but the use of space is mind-blowing, so there really is everything we needed. The setting is so peaceful and rural, walks straight from the doorstep, it's worth giving the car a break. John was so helpful, friendly and easy going. Would I return... absolutely!

The cottage was absolutely perfect for our one night stay as a family of 3. Leilani’s directions were clear and helpful, and check in was easy. The cottage was exceptionally clean and smelt lovely! Each room was beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishings and lots of light. The blackout blinds on the bedroom skylights are a wonderful addition. Leilani was kind to point out that we could go for a wander down the path and say hello to the hens and horses, which my son loved, and the views are gorgeous. Definitely recommend for a peaceful stay. Thanks for having us!

My family and I loved our stay. Highly recommended! Deserves more than 5 stars. Spacious, extremely clean & comfortable. Lovely garden and cozy fire. More spacious than the pictures indicate. We felt right at home and wished we’d stayed longer. One of our favourite airbnbs we have experienced.

The accommodation was faultless, the barns (there are 3 with identical layouts attached together) have been so well designed, the ground floor is all open plan with a large mezzanine area upstairs for bedroom and bathroom, everywhere feels spacious and the barn is well furnished . The purpose of our stay was business and after a hard days work it was a delight to arrive to discover the above and relax. That evening we subsequently booked for the next week as we have a nearby business and using an Airbnb cuts out 3 hours daily commuting.

My Mum and I stayed for 3 nights at Lacemaker Cottage and we didn’t want to leave! It looks exactly like the photos and is a beautiful, welcoming and cosy cottage. The garden is perfect for sitting out with a cup of tea and admiring the beautiful view of the rolling Derbyshire hills. The location is great too with Wirksworth High St just a few minutes walk. We really appreciated the recommendations from Dawn & also her swift and clear communication. We walked up to the StarDisc & had a lovely meal at Le Mistral. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Lovely little cottage in the heart of Darley Abbey and a stone's throw from the river and park. Great restaurant and pub just over the bridge, easy walk. The cottage itself is warm in winter and perfect in summer too. All amenities mentioned are well maintained. Caroline and Steve are very friendly and responsive hosts. My favourite place in this part of the world.

The whole property was exactly as described and photographed, but even better bearing in mind all details covered. Things like a kitchen equipped with quality items and a lovely welcome pack of goodies to welcome us were really appreciated. The bedding was of good quality and cosy, and signage within the property was minimal and well judged. All in all a very professional presentation making a very pleasurable stay. Thank you.

Little Gables is a stunning cottage perfect for a weekend away. It is decorated beautifully and was absolutely spotless! We spent the weekend exploring the Peak District and the beautiful countryside and the cottage was perfect to come back to after a long day.

We had a lovely stay at Jane’s. Rose Cottage was very cosy and full of charm. The communication was very easy and the flat was perfectly equipped. Would recommend anytime !

Jackie's cottage was perfect as a base whilst we visited family locally. Cosy, well proportioned, and in a great location.

We really enjoyed staying in Alice's charming home. It retains period features but has also been tastefully modernised. We particularly liked the kitchen diner which is light and airy and spacious, and a very nice place to hang out. The lounge is cosy. A narrow staircase leads up to three pleasant bedrooms. Beds were comfy, shower was good (a slight stoop for the very tall). We cooked our own meals during our stay and found the kitchen to be well equipped with everything we needed. Nice crockery and glassware. Coton in the Elms is a nice peaceful village, whose location suited an event we were attending over the weekend. We'd love to come back and stay again!

Really beautiful stay at Top Cottage! As soon as I walked in I wished I was staying longer! The cottage is kitted out to a really high standard and was spotless. Coming from a City, it was so peaceful to be able to sit in the garden and hear nothing but nature! Loved everything about this stay and have saved it for future UK visits :)
