I booked Tanya's place for my bridal party and getting ready for my wedding. It was an absolute gem and Tanya spoilt me with a little gift for my big day, plus she was a wonderful host! I will definitely be back!!

We often visit Stellenbosch as my children are students at the University. This has been our best stay ever! Linda’s place felt like home - beautiful decor, comfortable rooms and everything we needed. It is highly recommended.

We had a lovely time staying at Werner’s place, it had a beautiful view and we loved exploring the area and in particular the magnificent walking trails through the fynbos on the mountains as well as along the coastline. Werner’s place was well kitted out and comfortable although the living area was slightly smaller than we expected for 6 people. There was a lovely lawn and the kids loved the swings and sandpit. We had a great time!

Lorraine is such a lovely person and host, we had a wonderful time in the villa! Great location, just by the ocean, all was perfect. Big garden with child playground, great braa ( grill area ). I really recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. The place is very neat and there was a bag of wood and fire starters We were a group of 10 and we never felt crowded This was our 2nd time staying there and will go back again. Michelle is friendly and was on time opening for us Thank you Hanco for our great stay

We were a little disappointed on arrival as we expected it to be a cottage on it's own and not part of 3 semidetached units. However, it turned out to be an awesome experience discovering the local friendliness of the fishermen! Once settled we discovered it is actually very safe and one can walk to the beach and the Spa. My daughter went jogging each morning at sunrise! The best discovery was Willeens, a local restaurant, within walking distance from our unit, where we had scrumptious calamari and prawns. The fireworks display on Old Years was magical. The caretakers, Anne and Patrick is a lovely couple and just a phone call away at all times. Our 10 day stay ended too soon and I can definitely recommend all 3 units. Unit no 1 is a one bedroom unit, unit no.2 is a lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit with an interior braai room and unit no. 3 is a 2 bedroom unit with a shower and also an indoor fire place with a lovely private patio. PS! Take enough bottled water with!

The accommodation was spotless, well equipped and comfortable. Extremely well placed for access to the sea-front, we could walk down to the sea within a few minutes, and could even walk to Onrus beach from here - easy access and not too far. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We stayed for a month, and loved it!

We chose this accommodation due to being near to family and the close proximity of this was so convenient to walk there. The flat really has everything 1 or 2 people may need and was a great choice. Roomy bed, well equipped kitchen and good shower. We had an issue with WiFi but it was resolved as quickly as was possible. After our departure to my horror my partner had left his passport in the drawer but Sune assisted really quickly and got the documents to a courier within minutes. Fortunately we made our flight! Thank you so much once again!

We loved your stunning little log cabin - perfect for the 3 of us! Great location with easy access to shops, restaurants, and lovely walks along the coastline. Not to mention proximity to top class golf courses and gorgeous wine routes! We’ll be back for sure!

Was a wonderful stay. Even though the power was off in Struisbaai due to fire damaged we were still able to use the gas stove. There were also lights available. Jutta kept me updated continuously regarding the power outage. The house was perfect for my family and my dog who loved the close proximity to the beach. We will definitely be back

Lovely accomodation. Clean, stocked with everything you could need. Plenty of room for everyone. We were really very happy and will defnitely book again.

We loved our stay here. The accommodation is spacious, the facilities are great with an amazing outlook over the ocean. The pool area to the rear of the property was a hidden gem, sheltered from the wind - photos don’t do it justice. Oh, and the ice machine, a blessing. Owners extremely receptive - thank you. Highly recommended.

Will definitely recommend and hope to stay there in future. Only a little disappointed we could not make use of the heated pool. The heat function was not working. Love the outdoor space and communal areas. Our family breakfasts and dinners was a huge hit! Definitely worth every penny.

Very friendly & responsive host. Absolutely beautiful location in a secured complex, with direct beach access less than 5 minutes walk from the house. Lovely to sit on the verandah and watch the wild horses nearby. Would definitely recommend this venue if wanting to be close to Hermanus, but not in the middle of the crowds. The kitchen and house were well stocked with all the essentials.

Akkerbos surpassed our expectations! The house was absolutely beautiful and clean, and had everything we needed (or in my mom’s words, “It has everything we need x2!” The gardens and surroundings were phenomenal. Everything was just WOW! Would love to be back soon. Great for adults and kids! Thanks Justine for always responding to messages quickly and for being so helpful.
