We've enjoyed the stay in Vickie's cottage. It is located in a rural area which is very quiet. The cottage is a perfect starting point for visiting the stunning De Hoop Nature Reserve. The optional breakfast was fantastic!

A beautiful location, a magical night sky, a lovely host! A cute Cottage with everything you need. My suggestion, add the hot tub fees to rate like most properties that have this feature. Will recommend this cottage to everyone!

Amazing stay, beautiful accommodation with lovely small touches! We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening under the stars! Nicely decorated and clean! Walking distance to town - felt very safe and secure! Also the information book Nicola provided was fab! Thank you for such an amazing stay!!

We had a lovely and peaceful family breakaway. The tents have all you need to make your stay comfy while still giving a camping feel.

WOW, WOW, WOW 🤩 this place is an absolute sanctuary! It feels like you are the only two people in the world. It is just rustic enough but has everything you need. The pool area is amazing - we took an umbrella and thick towels, and spent the entire day there, and then spent two hours watching frogs at the new dam. The nature was amazing - beautiful birds and so many little tortoises. You’d think there’d be more bugs and mozzies but we weren’t bothered at all. Liz is extremely helpful when you need her, but does not bother you at all. The only note is that the hike to the Kloof seems easy at first, but we’d recommend proper hiking shoes and longer clothing as there were a lot of intense looking spiders 🙃 we ended up doing it from the other side in, with a big stick to clear the webs. I couldn’t recommend this place more and I’d love to go back to visit again! Thanks Liz (please do update us about Herbet the 🐢).

My favourite Airbnb stay so far! This wonderful place was a slice of paradise and the perfect accommodation to unwind. Graeme was extremely helpful and kind, always so quick to answer any query we might have. Only wish we had longer to stay. Thanks again!

What an incredible stay this was. Myself and my wife celebrated our 3rd year wedding anniversary here and it was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. It is a designers dream with every care and consideration going into every detail. From the incredible mountain and sea views to the intimate hot tub to the selection of Visi magazines to the bespoke bathtub in the bedroom. There is even a bench to watch the sunset. Pure luxury. Wendy was a dream of a host and even took the time to stock the fridge with items for our anniversary. Her and her partner made it an absolute pleasure. It is world class - we are definitely coming back.

Thank you for a fantastic stay! So relaxing - beautiful big balcony to spend the day reading, watching the horses, braai'ing and swimming in the wood fire hot tub. Kitchen has everything that you need, and the house in general is very well equipped.

Hanna's converted container was really great! We loved it. It is very well furnished, tasteful, and very comfortable. The hot tub is a real plus for you to enjoy! In addition, the views are lovely and the terrace is very pleasant! I recommend it 100% for a little break!

A breathtaking stay with amazing views to an accommodating and an ever assisting host, I booked this stay purely based on the picture for my husbands birthday and him needing some time away on our own, this place more than just delivered, to the drive in just before sunset with an amazing view of the farm and the mountains from the top of the container to the mystical nights in the hot tub with fairy lights, or the shower opening up to the bushes, this more than just delivered in tranquil and serene environments to my husband feeling rejuvenated and not wanting to leave. A great escape from the urban stresses with everything one needs. The only criticism i can mention is that the container could be a bit bigger, but everything else more than delivers. We will definitely be returning to this special cabin.

We (a family with 2 young kids) spend one night at the Almond Cottage III and we were so happy with our choice. It was kind of a stopover because the drive from Plettenberg to Cape Town was too long for the kids, that's why we made this stopover in Swellendam. It's a lovely town and the estate is situated about 10 minutes out of town. It's so quiet, calm and peaceful. There are 3 cottages, but each has its private space and even its own fire place. I loved the design of the interior with floor mats of a local artist. Really lovely and much attention to detail. We also ordered their grace boxes which were fantastic. The cheese platter was in the cottage in the evening when we arrived. The breakfast boxes were delivered at 8 am to the cottage. The food was amazing with lots of variety! I can only recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a peaceful, lovely place.

Laura has clearly put a lot of thought and love into the setting up the accommodation so beautifully - with wonderful little special touches and great attention to detail. Nina is a great host. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at her place. This is the best place to take time out and relax, we didn’t do much but it felt so good to just relax. The space is homey and well equipped for a nice braai. I honestly enjoyed being at the farm. Nina gave us clear instructions on how to get there and this was helpful since the road is still being developed. I’d advise that you buy food and drinks in Hermanus before arriving at the place this will ensure that you enjoy your time at the accommodation. If you need time out of the city to relax or write or just read this is the place to be! So refreshing

The photos really don't do justice to the beautiful surroundings, the quiet, tranquility and stunning amenities! It was so lovely to see all of nature coming alive and the emerging greenery and plants after a fire several months ago, we can't wait to return in upcoming months and explore more trails. It's completely safe and you could walk for hours. The home had lovely linens and a well equipped kitchen with high end appliances. There was plenty of wood and a very clean kolkol. Our host communicated well during our stay. The road leading to the eco pod is quite rough, so an off road vehicle is recommended.
