House vacation rentals in Overberg District Municipality

This is already our fourth time staying in Rigby's beautiful house. It is wonderfully located on the golf course, offering a peaceful atmosphere. It's a great starting point for many activities. Rigby and Jean-André are always easily reachable. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful home, lovely pool, location was perfect, we could walk easily into the centre and a short drive to many lovely vineyards. House was well equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Elaine was very easy to communicate with and check in / check out was straight forward. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Werner's place as two families with 5 adults and 3 kids. The space was the perfect size. Not too big that we felt disconnected from each other, but also not so small that we felt we were in each other's space. It's also a beautiful location, and just a few minutes walk to a winery. Very well stocked in terms of crockery and glassware. Will definitely book again!

The most amazing house in a fantastic location! We loved everything about it - the decor, the pool. Wonderful house and amazing host. Thank you. We’d love to stay there again if we came back to Franschoek.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Stay with Stunning Views! My stay at Caren’s Airbnb (Mountain View) on their beautiful working wine farm, Yonder Hill, was unforgettable. The views of the Helderberg are breathtaking — perfect for morning coffee or evening wind-downs. The property was spotless, stylish, and fully equipped with everything from a very well stocked kitchen to high-speed Wi-Fi and comfy beds. The en-suite bathrooms are new, well appointed and stocked with everything you need. There are little extras everywhere, and these small things really matter and make all the difference. Caren & Daniel were fantastic hosts: welcoming, responsive, and helpful throughout. I was in SA for family business which is usually quite stressful, but staying at Mountain View left me feeling relaxed and recharged. Though I travelled alone, the space would easily suit a family of four. Bonus: the night sky was incredible — I even saw Starlink pass overhead! A true gem. Highly recommended with no hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay at De Vrede - as a plantswoman myself, the garden must've been my favourite part of the whole property. Expansive, wild and prescribed a slower temporal pace I found incredibly fruitful. The cottage itself was delightful too, where we spent most of the chilly evenings by the fireplace. Highly recommend and would most definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed staying at the cottage so much. It's beautifully decorated and in such a peaceful location. We enjoyed being able to walk everywhere and the cottage's close proximity to the nature reserve. Everything you need is there, including the awesome fireplace that creates cosy evenings. Having sweet Lotus around as well was a major bonus! 🐱

This place was amazing! Very clean, safe, and the views were spectacular! Check was super easy and communication was great. If we get back we will definitely stay again!

I am writing this review while we are still at the property. We have stayed in many AirBnB's, but never have we encountered a place as fascinating as Kloof House. Nestled into the trees, at the bottom of the mountains, is this haven of peace. Due to the way it is built we feel one with nature. The interior is thoughtfully dominated by wood and endless floor to ceiling glass, it is warm and intriguing. We constantly stop to gaze at the forest. It almost feels a bit like being part of Jurassic Park, just without the dinosaurs. Inside it is pure luxury, no expenses have been spared, top notch appliances and so generously stocked, incredibly beautiful and stylish furniture, insanely comfortable beds. The nature pool, large hot tub and braai area are a real treat. All of this coupled with the friendliness and immediate responsiveness of the hosts makes this getaway one we will never forget. Thank you so much Keri and Louise!! 

Our time here was truly exceptional. The tranquility of the surroundings, coupled with the friendliness of the local community, created a perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. Elaine comprehensive instructions, including the video guide, greatly facilitated our arrival and ensured a seamless check-in process. The house itself exceeded our expectations. It was impeccably equipped and modern, which significantly enhanced our comfort and enjoyment throughout our stay. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed and contributed greatly to our positive experience. From the moment we arrived, our stay was truly wonderful. The house is located on a peaceful street where the sound of the ocean adds a calming touch to the atmosphere. It’s just a short stroll to the beach, complete with benches and scenic walkways that invite you to linger. The home itself is spacious and thoughtfully furnished with high-quality fittings that made our three-day stay exceptionally comfortable. We would definitely return to Clayden’s place in the near future.

What a privilege to stay at Julie’s place! The setting is gorgeous, hard to tear yourself away and go do the countless wonderful things available to do in the area. Right next to a small game farm with springbok, zebra,nyala. Located on a vibrant working vineyard, nestled in a refulgent colorful garden with a backdrop of stunning mountains. Everything you could want or need provided- even a cozy wood burning stove for winter evenings. Treat yourselves to the short hike up to the reservoir and swim in that secluded and majestic spot. Great birdlife. Overall excellent!

We LOVED the house and felt very comfortable there. It is very quite, safe, close to the beach and the house is just beautiful. Very tasteful interior design and everything needed was there. We would love to come back some time. Definitely recommendable!!!

We highly recommend this beautiful spacious home with its gorgeous ocean view. The veranda’s got lovely furniture to enjoy your relaxing time outside. The house is clean & well equipped. That fireplace is so amazing! Not sure who had more fun, us or our border collie! We’ll be back.

The Handley home us a dream of a beach house. Comfortable, homey, spacious, beautiful and a great location. It had everything we could think of and more. it's so tastefully decorated, it has an indoor fireplace, comfy sofas, books, games and more. It"s a 2 minute walj to the beach. Lively front and back patios, just perfect! We will be back to this gem as soon as we can. Thank you Savannah for being the perfect host - kind, generous and helpful.

Absolutely wonderful stay for family or friends getaway. Has everything you need and David was so helpful and friendly. Had such an awesome stay in such beautiful surroundings!

Perfect getaway! The place was absolutely stunning, you could see the thoughtfulness that went into the place, the decor and even the small details such as swimming towels, blankets on the sofa, logs by the fire place, diffusers and scents around the house, etc. Our stay was short but blissful. Definitely would stay longer a next time to enjoy the wood fire hot tub some more and the BBQ area in the back. The place is close to many wonderful restaurants and activities yet when you get home it's completely private and peaceful. Mark was an extremely responsive host and very easy to communicate with. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The Airbnb is great. Host is super. The town itself doesn't have much in the way of activities or shops, so it's perfect if you are looking for a quiet getaway. The house and location are perfect for watching the sun set.

The house is very comfortably laid out and furnished. It feels like new, and is crisp and clean. The town is a quiet beach holiday town with no shopping areas. Alison gave us detailed information about this, as well as where to get groceries and the preferred route to get to the house. Thank you Alison for being great with communication and opening your home.

Stunning place with majestic views. Would recommend to my lovely friends. 🔥❤️👌🏽😅 Only thing I didn’t like is that there was no ironing board and we were requested to throw away rubbish bags at a specific place.

Our weekend at The Black House in Robertson was truly exceptional. Tucked away in a peaceful spot yet close to top wine farms, it was the perfect base for exploring the region. The warm welcome from our host, complete with a delicious homemade quiche and lemon meringue pie set the tone for a relaxing, indulgent stay. The house itself is beautifully designed, with stylish interiors and serene outdoor spaces that strike a perfect balance between luxury and comfort. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making us feel right at home. We left refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and peaceful wine country escape.
