Award-winning eco beach-house and sauna

CraigRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A stunningly beautiful and unique place. Pretty spacious considering it's such a small pod. The apartment is well kitted out with everything you could need. But it's the location and the views that steal the show! The views out to the water are gorgeous. I never got bored of looking out the windows, especially in the late evening as the sun went down. Pod can get quite warm during the day, but that was down to the exceptional weather more than anything. When I was out during the day, I kept the blinds down, which helped keep the place a little cooler. Super comfy bed and again, incredible views to wake up to. Despite having enormous windows, it felt very private. Jane and Angela were great hosts, very responsive and friendly. Can't recommend enough!

Dark Skye Cottage

BrendaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Dark Skye Cottage is amazing. The view from the huge windows is incredible. We were blown away by the view and the surroundings when we arrived. The house is furnished with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. All the appliances and furnishings are of high quality. We particularly appreciated the washer/dryer and laundry room. Although there were only two of us we also appreciated having a bathroom both upstairs and downstairs. What set the house apart though is the amazing view. I wish we had more time and could have stayed longer and just enjoyed some relaxing days enjoying the view but there is so much to see on the Isle of Skye. We loved the location because it was so secluded and enjoyed watching the sheep below. It’s no wonder that Sally’s house stays booked so far in advance. If you can manage to find some availability, don’t hesitate to book. You will not regret it.

The Peat Stack

OliviaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic stay at The Peat Stack! Everything was perfect, clean and it had everything we needed for the few days we stayed, even some goodies left by Isobel. We felt at home right away! The hot tub, the amazing view and the sheep neighbours were a big bonus. Stornoway and a big supermarket can be reached in less than 15 min and it is a great location to explore the island.

Elysium Skye - luxury retreat

ChristinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It’s hard to put into words how magnificent of a place Elysium Skye was. It was private, peaceful, and went above and beyond our expectations. It was even better than the photos which we didn’t think was possible. It was a true oasis overlooking the Scottish countryside with ocean views. It was the best property we have ever stayed in in our 10 years using Airbnb. It was a true dream come true of a destination and we hope to one day return!

Panoramic Sea Views - hot tub

Angely ChristineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is so special and worth the extra drive. It’s secluded so plan to get groceries and gas ahead of time. Jane has provided some grocery and food recs to help with your planning. We did three days and dedicated a day for the North West side of the isle (closest to this Airbnb) another for the south west and another day for the Trottenish Ridge area. Since we did it this way we did not notice the drive at all since we grouped our locations for efficient driving. My boyfriend proposed to me right outside of this Airbnb and it couldn’t have been more romantic. It felt like a movie! Waking up with this view and witnessing the sunset hues in the evening is the selling point of this place. We also found some highland cows in the area! And a charming hut cafe 9ish minutes away. We will for sure book this place again when we come back!

We had an amazing stay at the property. The views were spectacular and the animals added a nice touch. Kristy and Stefanie were great hosts and were always there to answer our questions. Loved our time here!
