House vacation rentals in Outer Banks

Wonderful place and very pet friendly. The location of the house on a beach access point/path was such an important benefit that I had not realized when booking the house (I did not know that there were specific beach access points and if you were not on a beach path, you had to walk to one and then head east to get to the beach) The beach cart and all of the beach accessories were terrific (shibuni, chairs, towels, cooler, beach mat, toys, bikes ect.) no need to pack/bring anything for the beach with you! Thanks for a great stay!

this house was extremely convenient for going to the beach, especially considering it came with a cart to haul all your chairs and beach things… such a short walk to the ocean! we loved our stay, nothing we’d change!

We enjoyed our stay! Rona was the most responsive host I’ve ever had. Lots of stuff for kids to do at the house. All we needed for a great OBX vaca for our family of 4 and pup

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

Kite's Inn was exactly as advertised and more. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the location with great views of the Pamlico Sound. The House was ideal for pets and small children. The grass yard allowed our dogs to play outside and to swim in the Sound without having to worry about stepping on burs and the beach was ideal for our 1 1/2 year old grand child. The house is easy walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Joshua is a great host who was responsive and proactive with ideas when we had a rainy day.

We had a wonderful time at this adorable beach cottage. It was well stocked and very clean. I would definitely stay again.

Our stay at changing tides in the Outer Banks was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean views and the short 30 second walk to the pristine beach. The house itself is a perfect blend of coastal charm and modern comfort, with a fabulous kitchen, hot tub, and very well appointed living spaces. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the thoughtful touches made our vacation effortless and relaxing. The location in Duck was ideal—close to local restaurants, shops, and attractions like iconic duck donuts haha, nearby cute places to eat , yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive. We will definitely return.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Susan’s place! She was responsive, informative, and friendly. The location is safe and walkable, making it easy to explore the area without needing a car. The home was spotless and very well-decorated, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel warm and welcoming. Fully stocked kitchen, games to play, art supplies for the kids, and puzzles — we felt right at home. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and charm!

Laurie is an amazing host! This is the second time we stayed at Bula and we absolutely love it. The bungalow feels like home—cozy, comfortable, clean and great kitchen for cooking. Few minutes drive to the beach, and place comes with a parking pass to multiple access points and parks. Also appreciate all the outdoor spaces to lounge around the house. Laurie is a thoughtful and highly responsive host. Highly recommend for a wonderful, relaxing beach getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Alison’s place! It was perfect for our group—which included my spouse, our family dog, and my grandmother-in-law. The house was just as advertised: clean, spacious, and in a fantastic location. It’s in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance to the beach, a grocery store, local shops, and even an ice cream shop, which we loved. Although the range broke on our first night, Alison and her husband were incredibly responsive and had it replaced within a few days. Their quick action really stood out and made us feel well taken care of. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

There was plenty of room for the four of us! Everything was clean and tidy. While you are still pretty close to a lot of other houses, you have views of the ocean in between, and on the stormy nights, we could hear the waves crashing on the beach. The house is also very close to an ice cream shop and The Froggy Dog restaurant, which serves an excellent dinner menu. The house also provides beach chairs, sand toys, kayaks, etc. so you don't have to bring anything but your beach towel! Overall we had a pleasant stay.

The house was very clean and ready for guests when we arrived. It was also in a great area and very close to the beach. The host was very quick to respond to every message and gave very good recommendations for things to do and places to go. 10/10 would go again.

Great place. For its size and value, it literally has a ton of great features . The theatre room is amazing, especially with having kids. Has a beach volleyball court! The arcade has thousands of games and brought me back 25 years (Pac-Man, Mario, Galaga, Street Fighter, and 1,000’s more). We went when it typically would not be considered swimming weather, however, we had the option to have the pool heated at least a day or so before arriving and it made a huge difference and allowed for my girls and I to swim in early April (and I did jump in the ocean to compare and it was a 25-30 degree difference! Lol). The owner is very quick to respond, has the instructions available prior to arrival, recommendations for food, churches, , and activities. If you don’t mind a 3-5 minute stroll to the beach, it is honestly not that far away. Walmart, Target, Grocery stores, putt putt, dunes, Wings, fishing pier, are very close by. The aquarium was a 20 min drive but was worth it. Fun experience.

This was a perfect place for a large family to stay. The location is perfect as it's walkable to private beach where there is hardly any crowd. There are various restaurants within a mile of this location and everything was available for a great time.

We have been visitors to Ocracoke for years, this was our first time renting a house and Claudia's home was perfect. The layout of the home, the amenities, and the "extras" she provides...beach chairs, towels, detergent, cleaner, trash bags, etc. shows she is a TRUE SUPERHOST. We stay at a lot of airbnbs as guests and are superhosts ourselves. Highly recommend! 😊

Brittany was an excellent host who responded as soon as possible to any inquires or requests for accommodations. The house was perfect and absolutely stunning. With having a two year old with my family, there were toys there ready to play which made it even better! The view was spectacular and the hot tub was equally amazing. We had some car trouble during when packing our car during check out which made us late for check out time unfortunately and she was very friendly and understanding. The walk to the beach was easy and quick. No complaints at all! Definitely can’t wait to stay again (when the two year old isn’t teething and going through sleep regression lol). 10/10 highly recommend!

Beverly is so sweet! She gave us so many recommendations and always answered quickly. Not only that but she makes you feel like you are talking to a friend. Her house is beautiful whether you want a quick walk to the beach or to sit on the dock, listen to the sound and watch the sunset or see the stars. There’s a sidewalk right off the driveway that is well paved and makes for amazing walks. Overall her and her house made our trip amazing!!

We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! Amazing place to stay in OBX! Highly recommend! Beautiful home with lovely decor. Clean home and grounds. Private and so peaceful. Pool so refreshing, hot tub a great bonus. Beds are really comfortable, lots of extra pillows too. kitchen fully stocked with whatever you could need to cook or make drinks (appliances and dishware, etc.) Garage full of nice extras of bicycles, kayaks, life vests and beach fun playing in the sand for the little ones. outdoor shower to get the sand off too. Some nice restaurants, convenience stores all very close by. 15 mins to Hatteras, 40 mins to Nags Head. Connie is a wonderful host, clear instructions, very helpful and gracious. I highly recommend, we stayed for our annual family vacay, everyone loved it, house so nice. Connie is a star! We can't say enough good things about her home, just go and see for yourself!

Overall, this was a great vacation spot. Hosts were great! House was great! We had a small inconvenience with three people coming the first day to service different parts of the house, but once addressed the host’s accommodated our requests well. Location is nice!

These people are wonderful people me and my friend had an amazing time staying at there place! The place is exactly like what you see in the pictures. You will have there downstairs room to there house they will be staying in while you are there. It’s very nice that you have a walkway with access to the backyard gate which is where you’ll find your sliding glass door to your room and bathroom. You also have access to the beach bikes and the canoe which is really nice. Me and my friend brought our Blackstone down and cooked with Brad aka Sammy Hagar , lots of cool stories were shared. I had an amazing stay and I would definitely go back in the future. These people are wonderful host and the have all the suggestions of what to do , where to go

This place was exactly what we were looking for. The house provided great amenities and we were able to relax and get some work done at the same time. It was quiet and relaxing with a pool and sauna, which we did get much use out of. It was just a short drive to the beaches which made for a nice day trip. Highly recommend.
