The room as everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The bathroom is downstairs, and the door is right out of the kitchen, though it wasn't a problem. The apartment was exactly as described. It was a perfect place for my 18 year old and me to have as a place to stay for our adventures around Amsterdam. Everything seemed to be a close walking distance to us. We arrived via train and it was an easy walk even with luggage from Centraal Station. We let Meike know what time we would be arriving and she was there to meet us and give us keys. The bed was extremely comfortable and we felt completely safe. We felt great coming 'home' here every evening. The hosts provide a very wonderful guidebook with all sorts of recommendations for the area if you're a first-timer or even a returning visitor to A'dam like myself. We will most definitely recommend this property to our friends and will return when we make our way to Amsterdam again.

Terrific place! The corner location with windows on two sides meant that the apartment was bright even in gloomy weather, and the views over canals on both sides provided lots of interest. It's a great central location-- we walked everywhere we wanted to go-- and yet was quiet at night. Definitely recommend.
