At the Dwingelderveld National Park, there is the cottage, which is equipped with all comforts; private parking, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom and if you open the sliding door you are in the woods and you can sit in the garden and watch the squirrels and birds. Within a few minutes walking distance you are at the sheepfold. You can really escape the hustle and bustle of nature for a while

We were very positively surprised by the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The garden was very nice and perfect for our little dog and the kids. Froukje is a very nice hostess who welcomed us warmly and gave us some tips for the area. Check-in was also uncomplicated and there were even snacks ready. The apartment was very clean and there was everything you needed in it. The distance to the dog beach is super close and the right beach is adjacent. The city is a little further on foot, but also easily accessible and really nice . We would recommend this place and would book it again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was lovely -- very well equipped, spacious, clean, and with a beautiful patio and garden. The location is peaceful and convenient for exploring the area. Claartje was very friendly and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful week we had with a total of 6 adults and two dogs. A super cozy and lovingly furnished cottage, enough space for everything and everyone, everything equally comfortable. A special place, the fabulous weather also cooperated, but even in less good weather this would have been wonderful and cozy. Lots to do, both in Moddergat itself and in the area, and then you don't have to drive far - both Dokkum and the Lauwersmeer area are great. Tip: go sailing with the men of the ZK9 (leave from Lauwersoog). And what a paradise for the dogs and for birdwatchers!! We'd love to come back. Thank you Gwen and Marieke that we were also allowed to be guests in your uniquely beautiful cottage!

beautiful historic house in the heart of downtown, finely and tastefully furnished, everything as described, excellent cleanliness and excellent check-in experience. The surroundings are very tidy and quiet, a true oasis of tranquility. Excellent communication with the host, really recommended

Lovely few days felt like a home away from home

We enjoyed a quiet Christmas in this beautiful chalet, on a fireworks-free campsite. Upon arrival there was a small Christmas tree on the table and there was a nice snack for our dog, very sweet and attentive! The chalet is neatly clean and tidy and equipped with every comfort, and has a fenced garden, very nice if you are traveling with a dog. From the campsite you can walk into the woods and with a car you can look up many other forests and lakes nearby, to walk with your dog. Fortunately, we did not hear any fireworks on the campsite, but on New Year's Day there is carbide shooting nearby. Communication with Angeline was very pleasant and smooth, thank you!

We stayed two nights in Miranda's chalet and enjoyed the spring weather there. The garden has several seating areas so you can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset. Furthermore, the chalet itself was cozily furnished and the kitchen was equipped with kitchen utensils. We thought the bed was fine, but we didn't like the pillows and very thin and the double duvet a bit narrow. If we come back next time, we would bring our own pillows. In addition, the lights flickered in the evening every now and then when we used the oven which was a known "issue" at the chalet (which we found no problem because it stopped after we turned off the oven). We would definitely consider coming back again. Thank you Miranda for letting us stay there!

Cozy, clean and spacious apartment. Communication with Christa was smooth and friendly. We were very neatly received by Christa's father. Getting up with a view of the meadows was delightful!

We had a wonderful stay at Stefan's Stacaravan on the De Weyde Blick campsite! The location is simply fantastic – quiet and close to nature, but at the same time not far from Lake IJssel, perfect for excursions to the water or to the surrounding area. The place itself is very well maintained and lovingly laid out. We particularly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Stefan is a great host – friendly, helpful and always responsive. You can tell that his guests care about him. We felt very comfortable and would definitely be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended for those seeking relaxation in beautiful nature!

Super nice place and perfect location. Especially nice in good weather, as the terraces are very nice. There are also great canoes on site that are easy to drive. Birgit is always available for questions and helps quickly.

Very nice and quiet apartment. Well built, easily usable for 6 people. Communication was very friendly and always fast. Parking space available. 7 km Away from the ferry terminal, but very accessible by bicycle. Supermarket about 100 m away.

Lovely accommodation with all the amenities you need. We felt very comfortable. Everything was clean, tidy and the amenities in very good condition 😊 Communication was super straightforward and we got a quick response to everything. The area offers a lot to explore and the campsite is a good starting point for excursions

The cottage was fully equipped, clear explanation about the accommodation and cozy and clean. We could not come until later than the agreed time so the sheet packages, the high chair and the cot were already ready for us instead of having to pick them up. Very attentive. Due to the nice contact, the cottage and the park itself definitely recommended!

What a nice, fully equipped bungalow in a beautiful setting! The cottage really has everything you could need and was (and smoke) super clean. I was with my sister and we both had our own bedroom with a doubter. Everything was available in the kitchen, you can even bake a cake if you feel like it! The bathroom has a spacious shower with good water pressure. Mark responds quickly if you have any questions and is super friendly, and gives fun tips for the neighborhood on his own. The area is beautiful for hiking, especially nice with dogs. I would love to come back!

We had a lovely weekend. Very warm welcome and the cottage and location was exactly what we needed. Wonderfully quiet, everything present and comfortable. This weekend was mainly for us as a base for Thialf, but we would like to come back to enjoy even more of the cottages and the area.

really nice place, it was worth it!

It is a beautiful, clean and neatly maintained large chalet, where everything is at hand. Nice with a nice fenced garden (for the dogs), where you could sit comfortably with nice weather. In principle, it is in the middle of the nature reserve , we could walk into nature in no time. The grounds of the park look a little worn out, but that makes the chalet with garden itself completely okay👍🏾. And we understood that there are plans to fix the whole of the park. We had a nice few days there and have been to both Drenthe and Groningen and Germany, all of which can be reached by car.

It was a very nice cottage and so perfectly located. The owner acted very kindly when there were misunderstandings with payments. And also during the stay she was very available and helpful. Highly recommended. Nice bed, nice fenced garden for the dog, cozily furnished.
