Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Otter Tail County

I have stayed at Bee and Paul's place (both upstairs and down) five times this year, and each time has been incredible. Both places are comfortable, clean, welcoming and filled with everything you might need and then some! I love this house and can't imagine staying anywhere else in Fergus Falls. Everybody is incredibly responsive, it's easy to check in and out, and the neighborhood is among my favorite places to walk. Just can't say enough about this house and these hosts!

Beautiful home on a beautiful lake. Well stocked with all the dishes and utensils and cookware you could need. Comfortable beds. We rented the pontoon, which was great to take out and cruise the lake. We saw lions and bald eagles from the dock daily, which was a delight. Mark and his team were very responsive and very helpful. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The pictures do not give The Little Red Cabin justice. It is very cozy and plenty of room for all of us. The VIEW and LOCATION is perfect. Being located between the lake and the river is amazing. We enjoyed sitting on the deck relaxing and enjoying the view of Ottertail Lake. Plenty of restaurants and shopping located close by. The cabin is clean and stocked very well from kitchen utensils to games and puzzles. Rick and Terry are very accommodating and friendly. We highly recommend The Little Red Cabin.

Karey's place felt like our own private winter lodge. It snowed a ton while we were there and we were happy (as was our dog) to stay in and watch the snow fall through the big windows. We made full use of the hot tub, gas firepit, electric fireplace, gas stove, kitchen, and guitar. Bed was also very comfy. Terry came by to snow blow and brought by a couple scones :). Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Airbnb this past weekend, and I cannot say enough great things about it! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire place was. The hosts thought of everything — the house was fully stocked with all the essentials we needed, making our stay feel incredibly comfortable. The house itself is spacious and absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of bathrooms (each with a shower, which was fantastic). There were also more than enough comfortable beds, and the pillows were some of the best I've ever slept on! The Jacuzzi was a delightful bonus, and we're already looking forward to using it again in the summer months. The hosts were incredibly responsive and so easy to work with, making the whole experience seamless. We can’t wait to come back!

Lovely, updated, and attractive home. Super comfy beds, pristinely clean. There was even a Christmas tree by the fireplace. So welcoming!

a rare find...cabin so close to the water, the dock and beach/firepit area! saved us a ton of walking with very minimal amount of steps. beautiful view of lake from almost every window. right off the road but amazingly very private! my daughter and i enjoyed every minute of our stay. nice dock, nice decks, nice cabin!!!

What a charming find! We needed a stopover place that had room for a trailer as we were on our way to pick up a horse and are so glad we found the Elliott’s cottage. It was both beautiful and peaceful looking over the lake and farmland. Our littles immediately ran out to play in the yard/play ground when we arrived. Danielle greeted us upon arrival and showed us the best spot to park the trailer. The house has so many charming and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. We even enjoyed a Disney movie on the projector set up in the living room. This place is a true gem!
