Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ottawa River

Jason had a beautiful home that we were grateful to spend our Christmas holidays at. When there was an issue with electronics that we needed help with, not only did he respond rapidly but also came in person to help rectify the issue. A beautiful home and a wonderful host. :)

Très beau chalet avec une vue époustouflante ! Idéalement situé à proximité du village de Mont-Tremblant et de la station. Tout à moins de 10 minutes. Le chalet est très accueillant, spacieux, idéal pour une famille, nous étions très à l’aise. Tour confort et surtout très calme. Les instructions de Julie étaient parfaites. Julie est très à l’écoute et très réactive. Nous reviendrons sans aucune hésitation.

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

Jeff hosts an amazing AirBnB. It was a pleasure getting to stay at his condo. It is walkable to the village, the hot tub is just steps away, and the house itself is nothing short of spectacular. I would highly recommend this to a small group of people looking for a great ski weekend. Jeff is a great host with amazing instructions. Any questions I had were already answered with the instructions and guide he provided. He sent me a message in check in and check out to make sure everything was ok and made us feel like we were at home. Thanks Jeff!

Our group of 8 friends spent an amazing long weekend at Friendly Fires and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place is quirky and cute in all the right ways… We experienced all 4 seasons in 3 days (19° and sunshine followed by freezing rain and snow), but the property has so many different areas to hang out and activities for entertainment and relaxing that we were never on top of each other or bored. We’re already planning our next visit, can’t wait to go back!

C'était notre 2e séjour dans ce chalet et nous avons adoré notre semaine. Maison chaleureuse décorée soigneusement et avec un style personnel. Table-tournante avec une magnifique sélection de disques. Nous reviendrons!

La maison était parfaite pour notre groupe. Très agréable de se retrouver autour de l’immense îlot pour cuisiner. Excellente communication avec l’hôte.

Jessica and Michael were wonderful hosts! Their property was quiet, extremely spacious, beautiful kitchen (but the restaurants around are so good we didn't cook). We would definitely stay with them again!.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux réveillon de Noël auprès du feu dans le joli cottage de Barbara. Les environs étaient sublimes. Le logement confortable. Barbara a été une hôte adorable, flexible sur les horaires ce qui nous a permis de profiter au maximum, réactive lorsque nous avions des questions. Nous nous sommes vraiment senti accueillis et choyés. Merci beaucoup!

Séjour parfait en famille de 2 semaines en avril. Hôte très réactif et excellente qualité de service (traitement immédiat et de qualité de quelques tracas pratiques mineurs) Logement très agréable, lumineux, conforme à la description et aux photos du site (climatisation, wifi, Netflix…) Chambres sur rue au coin d’une rue secondaire et d’une rue piétonne animée certains soirs et en saison. Quartier bien situé et vivant: centre ville, nombreux musées et activités à moins de 20 min à pied. Métros, bus et location de voiture à 5 min. Nombreux restaurants épiceries et supermarchés à quelques pas (bagels frais tous les matins !), shopping… Position centrale : parc du Mont Royal, Vieux Montréal, le Plateau, musées, activités, restaurants, transports, commodités… Il y en a pour tous les goûts! Idéal pour profiter de tous les aspect de Montréal!

I enjoyed my 5 days stay at Kristina”s place. The condo is nicely decorated, clean and had everything I needed. Wonderful and safe neighborhood. Kristina is very friendly, caring and responsive. I would like to rent her place again if I visit Ottawa in future.

We had a wonderful March break week at Mark and Betty's. It's like living in an art gallery! The view was beautiful and a very peaceful and private location. My daughter loved the rooms and toys downstairs and we really appreciated the modern kitchen and fantastic fireplace.

The location couldn’t have been better. All of the photos and information were completely accurate. We were travelling with a ski loving 9 year old and a 4 month old puppy and both had an amazing stay…there were even dog bowls and dog towels. The location was truly a highlight and made lunching at home easy and a quick turn around to be back on the slopes. The walking trails were perfect for with our pup. Excellent responsive host, all as advertised and greatly appreciated the hospitality.

The location was great and the bus came every 40 mins so it made it very easy to get to the resort for food or skiing. The place was very spacious with a beautiful view of the mountain. Huge collection of DVDs and the kids enjoyed watching a movie and playing on the PlayStation. Would definitely recommend!

Louis and Yuni are spectacular hosts. Friendly, highly responsive and very accommodating. We’ve stayed in their great, pet friendly condo before and will certainly do so again. The unit is well located, spacious, clean and very well equipped. We love Tremblant and stay there often and this unit and these Hosts stand out at the top of our recommendation list. They truly help to make a great vacation even better.

Wonderful, clean place for myself and friends. Can’t beat the ski on/ski off! The views were wonderful. Had everything you needed for a relaxing stay! Alexandre and Patricia were so easy to communicate with. High recommend staying here!

Very good for what we paid, in a good location just besides Mt Royal. Clean except for a forgotten spoiled burguer in the fridge that made it stink. apart from that, very good, very helpful host 👍🏽
