Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Ottawa County

Our family went for Memorial Day weekend to the Port Clinton area. We brought our boat which was so easy to park in the home's driveway. Unfortunately, the weather was not as warm as we would have liked. However, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the Walleye Festival was going on. We enjoyed the festival and the parade which was all so close to this home. I am usually hesitant to book older homes but as other guests have described, this home was so clean with such comfortable, newer beds and linens. My boys were excited to have the upstairs bedrooms to themselves. And they loved the LED lights in each of the bedrooms. The kitchen was so well organized and had so many utensils/cooking gear to choose from that were like new as well.

My family like to cook and this was the best stocked airBnB we have ever stayed at. The home was comfortable and large enough to easily accommodate our six guests. My family is añready talking about planning a return trip to stay here.

This little cabin is FABULOUS! I love staying in places that feel like home and this definitely fit the bill. The kitchen had every dish and pan you could want. Full size frig, some dry goods in the cabinets, lots of extra blankets. We loved the quirkiness and character!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Firefly Cottage on Kelleys Island! In my experience, this is one of the nicest Airbnb homes I’ve ever rented. The home is very well appointed with many amenities like kitchen basics, games, movies and supplies. Have no doubt, they have remembered anything you might have forgotten at home! This modern constitution home is quiet with a large back yard and open floor plan. Our family of 8 fit comfortably. We would definitely rent the Firefly Cottage again!

The Little Red House was a great base for birding the Lake Erie Shore. Close to restaurants, birding sites, and other tourist activities along Lake Erie. Joan was quick to respond to messages. Thoughtfully decorated cottage.

Had a great long weekend at Michael's place. A planned fishing trip quickly turned into a nice relaxing weekend due to all the to common, unpredictable weather on Lake Erie in early May. Michael was extremely accommodating, understanding and helpful with the unpredictable change in our departure plans. Outstanding service! We will definitely book with him again..

I had a great stay here for a little less than a week with my pug. It was convenient too many areas in Port Clinton, which I appreciated as I grew up in the neighboring Oak Harbor, and often come back to stay in Airbnb‘s to visit with my mom. This home is very clean and very easy to check in, also there is room for at least two cars in the driveway. There is a really nice sitting area outback on the deck and around a small fire pit area as well as a playground for kids. Just a couple of things to note that will depend on your party and your personal preference. This is very near the train tracks, so if you are not used to the sound of the train coming you may not like it. Personally, having grown up in the area it was comforting for me to be back around it. Also, the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are extremely narrow. I would not recommend them for anyone elderly or with any accessibility concerns, there is a baby gate to keep kids or dogs from going up there.

This place was great. Well appointed, comfortable and clean. Family lives close by so we’ll be back!

Terry's home was perfect for our family and pets. Comfortable, clean, and stocked with all of the amenities we needed. Terry was super helpful and even sent some helpful info a few days prior to our arrival. He lives close by, and is readily available for any issues (we had none). We look forward to our stay next summer!

We love our stay at the Golden Home! Exceeded our expectations in many ways. Having never been to Lakeside before we didn’t know what to expect, but I can’t imagine it getting much better than this rental. Good amount of space, ample places to sleep, convenient to everything in the community. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back!

This cottage is a great reminder of a true lake house of old. It has character flowing out of every wall. The cottage is clean and very functional in a wonderful, walkable neighborhood.

Great place to stay. Was just a short walk to the waterfront. Bench’s available to sit & watch the boats with a morning beverage. Matt and Jessica were very responsive to any communication. I couldn’t recommend this place more

This condo was an end unit with a beautiful unobstructed view of the lake. Some of us walked from the ferry to the condo. Golf cart rentals are available right there on the property. Ian was proactive with information before and during our stay. I would stay here again. Thank you.

This was a wonderful get away spot for my husband and I and our four legged furry companion. It's always delightful when homes of this quality welcome dogs. Other reviews mention the front room, with bright white wicker furniture, full AC/HEAT and expansive windows as the highlight of this house. The feel, view, sound and light of this room mimics being "ON THE LAKE" without actually being in a boat. We brought yoga mats, books, and enjoyed watching the weather change from sunny summer to blustery windy fall in the matter of two days. We went on two very enjoyable 5 mile hikes at Magee Marsh and Metzger Marsh catching glimpses of many bald eagles and marsh birds. The neighbors were friendly and this time of the year it was quiet, peaceful & grounding. We walked the length of the beach often and were grounded by a short visit to 'life on that lake". Fresh orchard peaches @ Moore's Orchard ! Icecream @ Barnside Creamery! Port Clinton Jolly Rodgers!.. not much decent dining super close.

We are Port Clinton natives and wanted a place to stay when we took our grandsons to visit for the first time. This was perfect! Big enough for 5 adults and adolescents, everyone had their own bedrooms, perfect kitchen with enough seating for 6 or more at the table. TV's everywhere, with a nice big one in the living room and enough seating there for everyone also. So much to do around that area that we never lacked for entertainment - Cedar Point, Put-in-Bay, Marblehead Lighthouse, and just a good town to hang out in. Good outdoor space also, and even a cornhole game! Would definitely recommend, especially to a family group.

Margaret was fantastic. Warm, accommodating as far as our arrival. She had asked if we were celebrating an event and a huge fruit tray in the fridge welcomed us with a note “happy anniversary!” She was quick to respond when we had a tv question and gave ample recommendations and directions to nearby grocery and eateries. The property was perfectly located for us, and the interior was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We’ll definitely stay again if Margaret’s place is available.

This was on my bucket list, and it was absolutely wonderful. there is a crossfit gym downstairs, and the people are very warm and friendly.

Rebecca was a lovely host to work with she went above and beyond meeting everyone's expectations and being very accommodating. so looking forward to going back again if the occasion should arise I would gladly recommend her place.

The house was perfect for our 2 night stay. We were there for a birding trip and saw so much just from the porch! The house was clean and comfortable. It has a nice private feeling to it but is only a few minutes drive from whatever you may need. Elise and Seth are very responsive and did everything they could to make sure we had a great stay. We will definitely be back!

The house was spotless, well-maintained, comfortable, and the location was perfect. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches Sarah and Shawn provided. Without question, their home provided the perfect respite during our stay. They are great hosts!
