Vacation rentals with a kayak in Otsego County

Sarah was very responsive when the snow kept falling thanks so much for sending a plow!! We had a great ski weekend and kids loved it. Will be up in the summer for some fishing

Great place, lots of beds, great amenities, and friendly communicative host.

House was clean and spacious. Parking was great for car or small trailer, tight parking for trailers over 18ft in the winter. Mallard road is not fully plowed. Overall was great for my needs.

Had a great time at Eric’s place! The house was very clean, had everything we needed, great location, plenty of room to spread out. We were a group of five couples who go away for a fun weekend every year. This place was perfect for us! Thanks for the hospitality, Eric!

My husband and some family members stayed there for a snowmobile trip. It was perfect for them with plenty of room and a place to park there snowmobiles inside the barn. It was absolutely perfect!

Super cute cabin! Right across the street from the snowmobile trail and close to restaurant. Jay was helpful when parking our trailer and offered a late checkout. Our kids LOVED all of the chocolate treats that were provided! Everything that we could have wanted or needed was provided.

The house was very well stocked with amenities in the kitchen, which we use, so it was very helpful- having stayed in a home without a can opener before- we appreciate a well stocked home. The home was also decorated beautifully for Christmas, which was a bonus surprise, as we were having a Christmas gathering, but did not anticipate the house being decorated. The host warned us of traffic noise from the highway, this was not an issue at any point during our stay. The space was nice and open for gathering with a large group

The cottage was exactly what we expected, and more so. The view of the lake was just as spectacular in the morning as it was in the evenings!! Extremely comfortable, homey, and a great place to relax!! First time visiting Michigan, won't be the last. Thank you John & Melanie for providing such a wonderful place to stay!! Lynne & Bryan

The cottage was exactly what was advertised and the pictures were accurate. The cottage was very warm, inviting and clean. We had a great time on the water and the location was great to go to other areas such as Traverse City as well. Very nice property!

Such a fun stay - 4 kids and they had a blast. The place was great - We had a bonfire every night, cozy, but perfect for a family of six! The kids had a blast and it was a great home base. We took trips every day out to the local spots Traverse City, Elk Lake, Torch Lake , Charlevoix, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, etc. It had everything we needed: for a small house we really appreciated the two bathrooms and the three bedrooms. The kitchen had all we needed and the laundry really helped too! Fresh renovations, and a responsive and friendly host to boot. It’s a little bit cold in April and Michigan, but I’m certain the lake is beautiful in the summer. I would book again and would recommend to anybody with a family for trip up to northern Michigan.

Jessica is an amazing host. There were so many extras. We loved the kayaks and canoe that they were kind enough to let us use. Spent most of our day in the water. Very clear water. Kid friendly. A zillion stars at night and coffee with the pretty Sunrise. We were ages 3 to 64 and all had a blast. We never wanted to leave. Fast response to questions. Easy check in. Easy to find. Clean. Had everything you need to cook. Many fun places near to explore. We even fished for Salmon. We highly recommend and would love to come back. You will not be sorry if you stay. Thank you Thank you

The house was nicely decorated & looked like the pictures in the listing. We loved all the rooms. Scott was very responsive & accommodating. The family had a great time. We would love to use it again in the summer to explore the lake and nearby towns.

We had the best time staying at Renee and Claudia’s, there was an insane snow store and it was difficult to get in the night we arrived. Literally within the hour they had the drive to the cabin plowed and the cabin driveway plowed. It was a peaceful and wonderful week. Will definitely be back next year!! Thank you!!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! We appreciated the gorgeous lake and large yard. The lake view from the sun room was a highlight, and the sunsets were breathtaking. The cottage is well stocked with every amenity, and there is a thoughtful guide to the house and area. Our host was amazing and very attentive, ensuring we had an amazing stay. We feel lucky to have found such a lovely place to stay this time of year during peek fall foliage week; it was very peaceful and relaxing. We will be happy to come back again during the summer, as it was not the season for water sports. Beautiful, immaculately clean, and welcoming home!

The cottage was the perfect location for my getaway weekend with friends! Not only was it serene and quiet, it was picturesque. The location is just outside of Traverse City for those looking to travel there. Inside was cozy and welcoming. The space itself is curated for connection with the big screen movie projector, game room, multiple board games and fully functional kitchen; not to mention it's right on the water with an outdoor shower. The space needed to be warmed with a few space heaters, but there were more than enough to keep us toasty through the chilly evenings. I would gladly come back to the cottage!

My friends and I very much enjoyed Williams cabin. It was the perfect relaxing space for some quiet time.

The posting is very accurate and so much more in person. The hot tub was awesome and Chase has heard the term "be your guest". 2 suitcase stands in each room, plenty of hooks and Kleenex too! Love it.

Perfect getaway weekend. We used kayaks, canoe, and SUP...super easy with wood launch and easy to put back to store. Lake is super calm and we were the only people on the lake the whole weekend. Short drive to Gaylord and only 45 to South Higgins State Park for beach. Cabin is super cute and super clean with everything you need...especially kitchen. Movies and games were fun...my kids liked the "Old" choices. Coffee on dock in the morning was the best.

Five. Stars is not enough. This place was absolutely phenomenal. Will definitely be back again.

A large group of us stayed at the house we’re able to comfortably hang out in the living spaces as well as sleep. The property was beautiful and we were able to fit three cars in the driveway. During our stay, we experienced some unprecedented weather and power outages. Not only were Ryan and Lauren proactive in their communication, but extremely accessible and supportive throughout the whole experience, coordinating with local vendors to help us navigate anything we threw their way. We had such a good time and would highly recommend!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay it’s a cozy town home we loved the surroundings and communication with Devi was great they even warn us about a storm that was coming everything was great thank you my daughters liked it so much they said we need to come back soon!Also they were very welcoming to my fur baby coco he felt right at home too
