The place is beautiful and very well maintained. An excellent place to share with the family and disconnect from the noises outside. It has a river nearby. Marcelo, the man who takes care of the place, is very kind, attentive and respectful, as is the manager, very attentive, always willing to help, he did everything possible to ensure we had a good stay. I would definitely come back and recommend it 100%

I go to Higüey a lot and have stayed at almost all Airbnb listings at Monte Verde and this has definitely been the best Airbnb and the price was just right. The fridge has an ice and water machine which was super convenient and probably the first fridge I’ve seen like that in the Dominican Republic. There is a washer which was very nice because I don’t think it’s mentioned in his listing. This Airbnb has a lot of extra stuff that most don’t have. I’m not a big fan of eating out so we cook a lot and the kitchen was full equipped. A lot of extra sheets, Toilet paper and new sponges were provided, Hand soap in the restrooms and body was in the showers. Host was on top of everything and very quick to respond. We appreciate the stay and will be back

Heidi is one of the kindest hosts I’ve ever come across. She was incredibly communicative, helpful and genuinely thoughtful throughout the entire process. You can tell she actually cares about her guests and isn’t just trying to take your money, which unfortunately isn’t always the case on Airbnb. The apartment is brand new, beautifully decorated and located in a peaceful, gated community with security. If safety is a concern for you, you’ll feel perfectly secure here. The area is quiet, there’s free assigned parking, and it’s not far from downtown Punta Cana or Vista Cana. Heidi went above and beyond with clear, detailed instructions and even sent photos showing exactly how to reach the unit. If you’re looking for a host who’s professional, warm, and truly helpful, this is the place to book. Thank you Heidi, I appreciated you. 💖🌸

Maria, her family, and the staff went above and beyond. My family and I were visiting the Dominican Republic from the U.S. to explore the country as a potential new home. My Spanish is very limited, and I had some difficulty communicating with the staff. Without hesitation, Maria’s husband José offered to help translate. After learning about our intentions, the family brought all the ingredients for a traditional Dominican BBQ, prepared by the staff so we could experience it. Juan and Julia made sure we had everything we needed during our two-night stay. Juan patiently spoke with me as I used a translator app and my limited Spanish, and even walked with my son and me around the property, showing us the beautiful landscape and abundant fruit trees. We were warmly welcomed and treated like family. The property is stunning, but the kindness of Maria, her family, and the staff made this the most memorable part of our three-week stay in the Dominican Republic.
