Savage Cabin- Ocean and Estuary Nature Retreat

Our 1962 cabin might be in the best location on the Oregon Coast! At the base of Cascade Head, the cabin is in the Salmon River Estuary with a view of three rocks, the Ocean, and a secret "boat access only" beach. Cascade Head is a UNESCO biosphere reserve, with most of the area protected state, federal and Nature conservancy lands. Enjoy this remote nature-lovers paradise. Fish for salmon or crab out the front door, or canoe or kayak. The cabin is up two flights of stairs, in the canopy.

Our small STUDIO “jewel box” condo looks out on to two merging, clear, fresh water creeks, sandy beaches, tide pools, layered cliffs, the Ghost Forest, and is surrounded by a national forest. It has: full kitchen, bath, queen bed, pull out twin trundle bed (best for kid but can sleep adult). It’s been full renovated to make it our dream getaway! Neskowin has a good wine/deli/market on site. Please reference pictures to see the trundle bed twin + last pic for location off US Hwy 101.

Cable TV and internet, located on 6 acres just 1 mile from the historic Taft district which boasts several restaurants, shopping, the Jennifer Sears Glass Studio where you can watch and make your own glass floats, and of course the beach! Construction begins August 2025 at Surftides Plaza. Expect daytime noise and on-site disruptions.
