Monthly Rentals in Otiake River

We had a lovely stay whilst doing part of the Alps to Ocean bike ride. Really cosy place. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. The apple cake if you opt for dinner was brilliant. The only heads up I'd give other guests is that if you're over 5' 9 you might be ducking slightly in part of the bus, and there's no electricity inside. Neither was a problem for us though.

What an amazing place. You will not find anywhere like this in New Zealand. The Hut was so cozy and beautifully decorated to feel like home. Fresh baked bread every morning with plunger coffee. And I got to explore the stunning river and countryside with Rumi the dog by my side. And Tim the host was friendly, helpful and great at communicating. I can see why this place is so highly rated.

Great location to town and small park, all just a block away. Kitchen was setup nicely. large refrigerator. easy checkout. Nick flower outside, great sunset and sunrise.

This was a fun, romantic stay. We ordered extra Charcuterie and breakfast platters which were very generous and delicious. The sauna (shared with the other nest) and outdoor tub (private) are fun additions. The bed was very comfy. Surroundings are beautiful. It was a little rainy the night we stayed, but this did not dampen the fun at all. If you are thinking about booking, I recommend taking the plunge and just doing it! We will definitely stay again if ever back in NZ.
