Vacation rentals with lake access in Østerbro

We stayed at Gitte's place for our first month in Denmark. I started my studies at the DTU and my partner worked from home. Gitte made our landing in Denmark soft and welcoming. She helped us in whatever we needed (from advices on the area, to tips in the apartment search) and really did everything to make us feel at home. The place is a beautiful wooden home, situated in the rural areas of Copenhagen near a lot of lakes, woods, horses, and open fields around. within 5 minutes bike ride you can get the bus to the city. Absolutely recommended!!

Very cozy house on the outskirts of Copenhagen ideally located to the S-Bahn station for a quick trip to Copenhagen center. Karen and Thorbjørn were super friendly on arrival and already let us into the house in the morning, although that was not so agreed.

We were traveling as a small family to see Copenhagen and get some sea air in between. We looked at Copenhagen, as well as the town of the property itself, with our own wheels. Shopping was easy to reach by bike. We even found a few chicken gods on the beach. As a starting point for rest & city tour, it was the perfect location for us. However, 5 days were really enough to see Copenhagen. The only "minus points" to consider with a child in the spring: the bedrooms are very bright early in the morning ;) Kristine was always available and very friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Natasha’s place in Brøndby Strand! From start to finish, the contact with Natasha was incredibly pleasant — she’s a super helpful and thoughtful host, and we felt very welcome. The house itself is by far the best-equipped Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. Everything has been set up with great care and an eye for detail, which made it feel both comfortable and homely. The large windows let in so much beautiful natural light during the day, while the shades offered privacy and coziness in the evenings. The house is also very well insulated, making it peaceful and quiet at all times. The location couldn’t have been more convenient — just a short walk from the station, yet you magically can’t hear the trains at all. The neighborhood is calm and family-friendly, with a lovely beach and fantastic playgrounds nearby, which our family really appreciated. We’re very thankful we had the chance to stay at Natasha’s place, and would happily return anytime!

We had a great week in this beautiful house with nice garden and terras. Everything we needed was there. Communication was easy. We had no car but since the bus station is close, we could easily explore the city. Highly recommended!

Christa's place was perfect for our quick 3-night Copenhagen trip! The apartment was super cozy, especially with all the Christmas decorations she put up. In fact, it was so comfy that we almost didn't want to leave the sofa to go sightseeing! Thanks so much Christa, for making our stay so great!

Stefans place was perfect for our stay. Even before check in Stefan reached out in case we had any questions or needed anything. We would for sure recommend his place. Few things that stood out were easy public transportation access so you can be in copenhagen center within 15 min, shopping mall is right downstairs if you want to grab something quick to eat, or you forgot to pack some toiletries. All in all, Stefan is a grate host and we for sure will book with him again in the future :)

We had a great four night stay in this apartment. The building was easy to get to with our rental car and the apartment was spacious. We travelled back and forth to central Copenhagen several times using the subway system - it is fast, frequent, and easy to use. The several nearby grocery stores are also convenient.

This proved to be an exceptional base for a family with 3 kids to explore Copenhagen. The apartment seemed to be 20 minutes easy walk from everything we wanted to see - Tivoli, Nyvhavn and even less to the Botanical Gardens. The apartment is really quiet and calm, there is no street noise at all. It was wam on arrival and stayed that way the entire time even when the weather outside was chilly. The sitting / dining room is very spacious and comfortable for a family and the kitchen is well appointed and clean. There are many great places to eat within the the same 20 minute walking range. There is a supermarket and a lovely Nepali neighbourhood restaurant within 100m of the house if a 1 minute walk suits better! Nikolaj was also really responsive on the app, answering questions in real time so that was great.

Great apartment in a peaceful neighborhood, the host Nikolai was also very communicative and friendly!

Top (quiet) location in full nature near Copenhagen. Train by bike to Copenhagen. Station a 6 minutes from the house. Kitchen was well equipped with everything. Tip : dark curtains in the bedroom. See you next time !!

We stayed at this vacation home and had a great experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a good place to stay!

It was just what we wanted . Super location looking over to Denmark and if weather had been warmer it would have been perfect for swimming. Still had the chance to use the chaise longue in the sun!! Easy access with no 8 bus. Easy high quality breakfast place 10 min walk away. Lovely walks in the Pålsjö skog and at Sofiero castle. All highly recommended. Washing machine, dishwasher and powder/pellets. More than adequate amenities. Easy but long walk from the city . Nice if you like that . Thank you!

We spent a lovely spring week at Martin’s seaside cottage and could not be happier. Everything top notch and a great host. We hope to visit again. Thanks again Martin.

Dear Erla and Jakob Thank you very much for the wonderful stay. Our family really enjoyed your beautiful house filled with tastefully curated objects. We felt at home from the moment we set foot in it and we really appreciated your availability whenever we needed an information. The garden is great to relax after a day at the beach (5 mins by foot) or after a day trip. Our kids loved to pick delicious berries while playing soccer. They were really sad to leave! Just a wonderful location to experience the tranquility of the Danish coast. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a little getaway and peace and quiet. Very secluded private yet easy to get to the Copenhagen city center by train and 30 minutes. Great area for running walking or just living a quiet Danish life on the coast. Wonderful updated amenities. Plenty of space for a large family. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a home in this area. 15 min walk to city center/ train station.
