Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ostend

Veronique and Luc's lodge is a dream! We didn't leave them all the time to explore the area as originally planned, but enjoyed the fantastic location in the polders and the tranquility! The crowning glory was then the daily jacuzzi bath in the sunset. I'm sure we'll be back!

I had a great time with my family, very good location. The owners are very friendly and nice people. We would like to come back one day.

We stayed here for the weekend with 8 friends and everything was fine. Is a really nice home where everything is provided with very quality materials. Also a very large garden with and nicely decorated large barn + a jacuzzi that also worked fine. Communication with Christine runs smoothly and is very correct.

A perfect place to recharge your batteries as a family in a spacious and well-appointed house.

The apartment - in our case for six people - really keeps what it promises. The two-story apartment at the top of the house offers plenty of space, a large dining room, living room, three bedrooms and three balconies. Everyone will find a place if they want it to be quiet. Large windows that go out to the beach and walk only a few minutes to the beach promenade of Ostend: you are literally removed from the hustle of everyday life and look at the wide world from above (elevator available!). We felt right at home. The apartment is also well-equipped and our hosts have given us many beautiful excursion destinations in the area. A really great vacation for us.

What a great stay for a weekend getaway! We loved using the hot tub, and everything was clean and ready for us. Niek was a lovely host and made sure we had all we needed.

We had great days here with our dog and felt very comfortable. The place is in a quiet environment and the view into the garden is incredibly beautiful ☺️ The beach is within walking distance and the apartment has everything you need! Very nice, quietly located house (I have rarely heard the church bells); you can walk immediately into the fields, is well connected, and right next door is a good resto. By bike, you can reach the sea in 20 minutes - with a great beach! I was right at home and slept very well. Pas is super helpful and responds immediately if there is a problem. If necessary, there is even a mobile fence so that the dog can get out (if he is not too wild). The only thing I missed sun worshippers in April was a protected, sunny place outside - the windows go west, the terrace is on the north side. Optimal in summer. We will definitely be back.

Home for those who have no problems with ladder. extremely organized, clean, with clear instructions. The kindness and attention we had made us feel at home.

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at Boeren Biezen! The cottage has everything you need to cook, good beds and a nice sitting area. Margareth and Freddy are incredibly hospitable and do everything they can to give you a nice time. We ate paella together, bake pizza and cared for the horses. You don't have to go far for fun trips to Sluis, Groede or Het Zwin. Super!

we only stayed one night at Jans place we arrived around 8.30pm. its a very lovely cottage, everything there you could want, comfy beds, hot water and a wood burning stove if you wanted to light it, the stairs to the upstairs are very steep so be aware going up and down, both bedrooms have a tv and onsuite bathrooms, plus a downstairs toilet, plenty of room for the dogs and places to walk, bonus was we found a just eat delivery online.

we had a great time in this cozy cottage. It provided everything we needed. waking up and being greeted by the farm animals was a fun experience. The host was very attentive and friendly and she has a big heart for other animals too.

Hello, we just spent a week of peaceful vacation in De Haan, it's what we were looking for, the apartment is faithful to the photos, in a very quiet residence, the apartment is close to shops, the forest and the sea, we did everything on foot.

Lovely apartment, very relaxing! The views are breathtaking, it's worth the trip! The apartment is also very quiet. Something to get away from it all and relax.

This is a great place. It’s so, so close to the main square and easily walkable to any area of Bruges. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. A laundry (with two washers and two dryers), “Honesty Bar”, filled with wine and beer, DVD center is in the same building just two doors down. This apartment is located on the second floor (third floor by US standards) but is well worth it for the location.

Spacious and bright space. Beautiful lake views near the sea and with covered and heated swimming pool appreciable after the excursions. Bruges is 20 min , Ghent 40 min and Brussels 1h20 . Close to the border of the Netherlands we were visited Sluis. Ideal location to discover the area and enjoy and break nature /sea. Vera and Arno are very responsive and their apartment is impeccable and well-equipped.

This holiday home is a gem for nature lovers! The long coastal walks through the dunes were magical, and the sunsets by the sea looked like they were straight off a postcard. The location is ideal for exploring the area—whether by tram, bike, car or on foot. About the house: a true summer house charm! Spacious enough for four, a fully equipped kitchen (we cooked most meals at home). Safe Garden! A huge plus for kids and dogs—peace of mind while relaxing outdoors. Transparent and experienced Host: Erica provides clear instructions, responds quickly. I was amazed by the House rules. All aspects are covered, just read and follow! Note: In colder seasons, budget for extra electricity costs can be high (ours was €40 for 4 days and we have not used heating much.) We’re already planning to return in summer!

An all-round successful vacation in a very nice house on a very nicely landscaped property and with a very nice hostess: This is the short form for a time that was something special for both the adults and the teenager and the small children and where we all felt comfortable. We were amazed and surprised that the culture of remembrance of the First World War has a very high priority due to the front line in the entire area and that, in our opinion, it has been very successful in many areas in making this time equally intense and emotional for adults and young people. Since the sea is also not far away (about 25 minutes) and a city like Bruges with a beautiful historical flair is easily accessible, there is a nice activity for the family every day in any weather. Alternatively, the house and property offer plenty of opportunity for leisure, play or, depending on the season, to use the pool.

We felt very comfortable in the small cozy apartment! Great equipped, with everything you need - also for the little ones with (somewhat outdated) toys and plenty of utensils for kids. Especially great was the beautiful view of the green space, the tranquility and the bikes with a child seat (unfortunately already quite attacked - had to mend once), with which we could explore the magnificent and versatile environment!! Thank you very much for everything 🤗 We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful and large vacation home, very pleasantly located, close to the seaside. Rented to organize a meeting here, all guests were very satisfied and everything basic amenities are available.
