Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Oslo Municipality

We stayed here for 2 days … the location near by sea 100 meter walkable distance to the beach.. place is very good.its 30 minutes by car to reach city center…if u r looking for stay out of city this is the best place..

Host gentile e sempre reattivo. Abbiamo solo avuto delle difficoltà piccole con qualche parte della casa , come ad esempio a chiudere la porta di notte, perche la serratura dall’interno non funzionava.. oppure il livello della finestra in una camera era pari al letto , e viaggiando con bambini e un po’ pericoloso anche perché le chiusure erano rotte, ma la casa è vecchia e bisogna un po’ adattarsi. e anche questo contribuisce al suo fascino. In generale siamo comunque stati molti felici

Very comfortable with private and common spaces for our multi-gen family of 7. Good access to transport. Nice availability groceries and restaurants. Short ride to city center. Hosts clearly wanted us to enjoy their home as they do and were very responsive. Note that house has three floors with lots of steps. Also top floor bedroom has slanted ceiling, low at some points. Loved our stay as a comfy spot to recover from travel and explore Oslo. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Victoria’s house in Nittedal! Communication with Victoria was excellent both before and during our vacation. She was very helpful and gave us great tips. The house was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 kids aged 4 and 9). It was super clean, tidy, and beautifully furnished. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was excellently equipped, the living room very cozy, and the bathroom offered both a shower and a lovely bathtub. The location was ideal: about 30 minutes by rental car to both the airport and the center of Oslo. A sledding hill and the Vallingkollen ski area, where you can rent ski equipment, were only 15 minutes away – we had a great time experiencing the Norwegian winter there. Our kids loved it! We also visited the Technology Museum, the Paradox Museum, and the Natural History Museum with the kids – all three are highly recommended. It was such a relaxing and beautiful vacation. I loved staying at Frida’s place. Just about all of Oslo is walkable from there. The neighborhood is full of charming and colorful wooden houses. It’s close to nightlife yet very quiet. There’s a grocery store right across the street. The bed is comfy. I highly recommend this place and would love to stay again. The only people I might not recommend this place for are anyone with mobility issues, as you have to climb a ladder to get to the loft bedroom, which I found completely charming.

Un posto silenzioso tranquillo perfetto per visitare Oslo e per apprezzare la vita sul fiordo . Anne ci ha prestato le biciclette utili se si vuole raggiungere i dintorni o la fermata del bus più velocemente. Noi siamo stati due giorni con il bus e due con l’auto. Soluzioni entrambe praticabili. Tutto perfetto e col desiderio di tornare nuovamente

We had a really nice stay at Kaja's place in the Holmenkollen area. The house is large and has a very beautiful kitchen and great upper floor with lots of amenities for kids. The bathroom is fantastic and bedding is great. There is lots to do in the area especially if you are into nature. Also the railway to the city centre is relatively close and there is also a direct bus to the city center super close by. We would come back for sure!

Das Appartement ist wirklich toll. Ruhig, in einem schönen Viertel, gelegen, sehr sauber und man ist in ca. 15Min mit einem kurzen Spaziergang + Bus im Zentrum. Hanne war total aufmerksam & Fragen wurden super schnell beantwortet. Für Kochliebhaber, das war vermutlich die best ausgestattete Küche, die wir jemals hatten, danke dafür. Das Bad mit Fußbodenheizung war jeden Morgen ein kleines Highlight. Hanne hat ausserdem einen wirklich sehr guten Geschmack, die recht unterschiedlichen Bilder, die sich an vielen Stellen vorfinden, sorgen zusammen mit den Pflanzen für Gemütlichkeit. Wer gern weich schläft, wird das Bett von Hanne lieben. Die Couch ist in echt noch größer als sie auf den Bildern wirkt & super bequem. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt & empfehlen die Unterkunft.

My parents stayed here for a month and loved the place. It’s cozy, the hosts are wonderful and the location is close to a beautiful forest. We would love to come back.

We had an amazing stay and would come back anytime. The appartment felt very very homey, which was great for our stay over christmas. No complaints!!

We loved Kari-Anne & Inge’s apartment. It was very nice to be out of the tourist zone, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, yet very close to local restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. The view was so pretty and the delightful hosts made the apartment a comfortable oasis (with full amenities) when returning from our Oslo adventures. I absolutely appreciated coffee being provided (it’s no treat to have jet lag without coffee, early in the morning), with clear instructions on use of the coffee maker in the comprehensive guest guide provided by the hosts. Many thanks for that! It was really fun to look through the amazing library and to appreciate the original artwork, too. The hosts were very responsive to questions, and provided a lot of information about the apartment as well as Oslo. Again, thank you for the manual and responding to my questions so quickly. If you visit Oslo, you will love this wonderful accommodation!

Charming apartment in a beautiful neighborhood. It’s quiet, comfortable and well worth the stay when visiting Oslo. The location is great—close to some of the best places throughout the city. And Gry is a excellent communicator. You’ll feel right at home for the duration of your trip.

Het appartement is klein maar erg gezellig en biedt alles wat je nodig hebt voor een bezoek aan de stad. De ligging is geweldig en toch is het binnen stil en rustig. Linnea was snel en behulpzaam. Dit adres is een aanrader voor een citytrip naar Oslo.

Inger was not there for my stay so we had the whole place for ourselves. There is everything you could need to stay there for a couple of days. The apartment was very cozy and the balcony was a very nice touch. The location however was not ideal. We had a bit of trouble finding the bus that takes you to the center and they don’t come that often at night. The building is very quiet and private. The fireplace was lets you keep warm and feel very at home. Everything was squeaky clean and clearly labeled to let us know what we could and could not use. Comfortable bed for a couple. In short, I really enjoyed my time here, the only thing that could get better would be the location if you plan on doing some tourism but this is also clear before you book it. Would recommend!

Ole has a beautiful comfortable home right next to Olaf Ryes plass yet extremely quiet as it overlooks a beautiful inner courtyard. Definitely recommend staying.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Julie and Christian’s home for 2 weeks. The hosts were very gracious and responsive, providing us with recommendations and always available when we had questions. The house has ample windows with gorgeous natural light. My two kids, 2 and 5 years old, loved the playroom and trampoline, as well as their lush garden. The location on Bygdøy can’t be beat; a stones throw away from trails to take you to the different beaches, the grocery store is very close, as well as the bus stop to take you to the city. And, if you decide to go for a walk at dusk, you might be fortunate enough to cross paths with baby deer or a fox. We’d stay again in a heartbeat. It felt like a home away from home in the best way.

Das Haus war nicht nur sauber, sondern auch stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig, aber dennoch zentral/mit toller Anbindung. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der Blick auf Oslo. Wir haben ums rundum wohlgefühlt und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Linn’s place was a unique and beautiful house with a small guest cottage. It was well maintained and contained everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The house is about 20-25 minutes drive to downtown Oslo (we expected it to feel farther than it was!) and walking distance to hiking trails and lakes. Linn was very responsive by text before the visit and during the stay.

This place is stunning! Arguably better than the images show. Stian and Ingunn’s place is beautiful, homely and a lovely space. Accessible tram into Oslo and definitely gave the group a great stay in the city.

Ole was a great host, helpful and friendly. The house was beautiful, full of charm and character and in a great location. Highly recommended.

We were extremely impressed with the property. After an initial walkaround my husband was very complimentary about the fixtures and fittings, although wondered about the amount of space available. I then pointed out to him that there was an entire downstairs he hadn't looked around yet... a huge playroom area, a cellar, another bedroom, bathroom and laundry facilities. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to others, and when we return to the area will definitely be checking availability!

Helle-Karine was an absolutely amazing host. The property is beautiful and has everything guests need and more. It is so clean and relaxing. Good transport links by bus to all the things Oslo has to offer plus off street parking if you have a car or car rental. We highly recommend staying here, it makes a great base for a family trip to Oslo and Norway. Thank you!!!
